A spacious, clean, warm and quiet room with helpful information about local places to eat etc. A great breakfast and a lovely, go-the-extra-mile response when I mentioned that I’d lost some makeup (it had rolled under the wardrobe). I’d tried reaching it with my hand but couldn’t quite reach. Before I knew it, the wardrobe had been moved and the makeup retrieved, along with my engagement ring, which I hadn’t even noticed had come off! Thank goodness Roger and Jane care so much about their guests. They prevented what would have been a very upsetting loss/potential divorce. Thank you so much.

Well, what incredible service. The road to the farm was closed and the diversion took us 12 miles out into the countryside and then ended (we were not the only guests to whom this happened). We were completely lost in the pouring rain, so I phoned Jane, who talked us through the route around the back lanes until we were met by in a Land Rover at a junction by Roger, and led to the farm!! After that the welcome was warm, the room immaculate and the breakfast fabulous. Many thanks Jane and Roger!

Seems a bit petty after all that, but they could do with some new pillows.

The room was immaculate. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower was hot. We messaged in advance to enquire about vegan breakfast options and were told they were more than happy to facilitate. We messaged later to say our flight time had changed and we’d have to leave before breakfast. The hosts left vegan breakfast bars in our room. Incredibly thoughtful. On travelling to Puttocks Farm the motorway was closed leading to a long diversion and huge delays. We ended up arriving well after last check-in. The hosts communicate with us throughout, offered alternative routes and were incredibly gracious about us keeping them up late.

Very very clean nice little unit. Compact but not cramped. Fridge in the room that never made a sound, and a microwave just outside the door that I wasn't aware of when I booked but was very happy to see when I got there.

Perfect for an overnight stay. Warm welcome from the host. Clean spacious room, very clean. Enormous bed which was very comfortable. Tasty cooked breakfast with eggs from the farm.

We liked everything about it.

A perfect rural stay. Lovely setting, freshly cooked breakfast with lots of choice. Lovely quiet walks from the B & B. Loads of outings possible to a wide variety of activities. Also excellent taxi transfers to and from Stansted airport to the bed and breakfast via the local taxi service around the corner from the stay - Barnstow Luxury Travel (Luxury describes the vehicle not the price which was excellent value for money).

Nothing could have been better

Fantastic host Roger, who cooked me an exceptional full English in the morning, and although I'm not a breakfast person, I ate it all and enjoyed every bite 😋 Really nice room with a big comfy bed (firm mattress is a huge plus) and a nice shower. Everything is spotless clean. I also liked that they have a recycling bin in the room. The farm is close to Stansted yet very secluded and peaceful. Perfect for an overnight stay before or after your flight.

Lovely room close to Stansted airport for a flight the next day. Comfortable with everything needed for a one night stay, or longer. Breakfast good, and all in all very good value. Would be happy to stay here again.

I found the shower temperature control a little stiff, but got it how I wanted it in the end. Great shower then!

The host were lovely and breakfast was very tasty. Very Rural, we stayed as had a wedding at Leez Priory but understand it is very near to stansted so ideal if you have an early flight to stay nearby

Nothing to do with the accommodation but the taxi were a problem, had trouble getting one to take us to leez priory and not one wanted to pick us up. Luckily leez priory had there own taxi service!

Lovely quiet location and very easy to find. I received a warm welcome from Jane, and the next morning was given a delicious, beautifully cooked breakfast in the conservatory that looks out on to fields. This really is a delightful setting.
