Really well located. It’s managed almost like individual apartments, so a lot of privacy. Supermarkets are very close and the city center within 5mins of walking. We had a room with an ocean view, so that was quite fine as well.

They take a deposit of around 500 euros. This would be fine but it appeared that if the deposit would not be sent before checking in, they would cancel the booking. In the end, it was a bit upsetting that a day before we were supposed to arrive we received an email regarding this issue and that the booking may be cancelled if all dues weren’t settled even though they mention that the security deposit can be cleared at the time of check in. In the end everything worked well but perhaps they could clearly state the deposit bit at the time of the booking and also make sure that they write that the deposit has to be transferred before checking in.

Amazing location! If you’re take the local bus from the airport, it’s only about a 2-3 minute walk away from the stop. The room had everything you needed in the kitchen- pots, utensils, knives, scissors, cutting boards, Tupperware, cups, mugs, glasses, wine opener etc. There was an oven, stovetop, dishwasher and fridge. There were towels, body soap, hand soap and dish soap. They also had a coffee maker and tea kettle. The bathroom floor is heated! Love that! There’s a drying rack which came in handy when hand washing some things. Comfortable bed. There’s a little table in there too which is nice. I went to the office on floor two and had them make me a key card. I never had any issue getting into the building and I came back at all hours of the night. This building is sooo close to everything you need! Was a short walk from all the tour meetings points. Literally right next door to a big grocery store I went to a lot.

Really enjoyed staying here for 4 nights and would again. The in-room facilities were great and well equipped. I used the gym early in the morning, it had a decent variety of equipment and accessories. The place is very well situated and although I was on level 2, I had a decent view of the street. The place was cleaned very well before my arrival. What staff were around were cheerful enough.

The app didn’t work well ahead of arrival, so had to call from the UK to ensure entry upon my 9pm arrival. Thankfully, they arranged a physical card to be collected from the lock box. I was able to turn the heating up but was still cold on the first night. The external windows needed a good clean, not usually something I’d notice but looking out at the night-sky is something you do in hopes of catching Northern Lights. I would stay here again however.

The room was very comfortable, with sea view and a small kitchen. All the necessary kitchen amenities were provided to accommodate my stay, the bed and mattress were big and comfortable, bathroom was large and clean. TV was supporting chromecast from adroid device and there were enough sockets in room for charging. Location was very good, it was 10 min walk from port and 5 min walk from airport bus station.

The check in and entrance system was completely automatic (thru mobile device only) which was making it difficult and frustrating to open the room-door or press the floor button in the elevator.

Great location just by the Main Street. We had a 7th floor sea view room and the views were incredible. The room was small but perfectly fine for a few days. Very modern and had everything we needed to cook breakfast. The restaurant in the building was great!

Communication about check in was poor. We didn’t know we needed to download an app to check in until we found a small sign in the lobby. The room key was on the app so not sure how you’d get in if your phone died! They should offer guests a physical key card as well.

Clean, comfortable apartment with all the kitchen facilities needed and a couple of minutes walking distance to the city centre.

Be aware the rooms and building is accessed with an app so download this beforehand and make sure the phone has enough battery to get you back in at the end of the day as the building isn't manned in the evenings.

Great value for money. Well equipped and clean. In a great location with easy access to supermarket and restaurants. Only 10 min bus to airport. I’m the centre of town.

We loved that everything was done contactless from check in to check out. But if you’re not good with modern technology, this may be difficult. We saw a couple stuck outside in the snow and freezing cold trying to access the building and room with their app.

The location was excellent. A few minutes from the quay and the shopping centre. Our room on the 8th floor had a super view of the fjiord and the mountains. The restaurant in the ground floor was also a good choice one evening. Lovely reindeer steak in a great sauce.

The key collection. At the end of two flights all we wanted was to get the keys and get in but the system of receiving the codes in the last few hours with no access to wifi made life difficult. The on site lady who helped us was very caring and as we had another issue with being given the wrong apartment she did everything she could to satisfy our expectations.

Our room was perfect, very cozy, the view was beautiful, the room was spotless and everything brand new, having access to our own kitchen was great, made us feel like we were home for those five days. The kitchen came with all the needed utensils to prepare a meal (and even store leftovers as there were even glass containers!). The staff was very kind and attentive to us at all times, any request was met within minutes and followed up. Easy check-in and check-out process, amazing location, just a very short walk away from the city centre. Easy access to public transportation, the bus from the airport to the property takes 20 minutes and stops only a block away from the property.

This is not a complaint about the property at all, it is something for others to know, while the room is 100% ready to be used the rest of the property is under construction, meaning going in and out you are met with constructors, equipment and materials (much like the staff, every single contractor was polite and kind to us every time we crossed paths). The construction was not an issue to us at all since we read the reviews and were aware of it, but others might be bothered by it if they care about the temporary look of say the reception, but as I said, the room was 100% finished. As per the other reviews complaining of drilling noises and such, I have to say, at least while we were there it was barely noticeable and it was done at reasonable times of the day.

Very beautiful decorated spacious apartment. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. The beds were very comfortable. A nice livingroom with diningtable and sitting area make it complete. Everything you need to make a meal or breakfast available. Doorkey app worked well but also you can ask for keycards in the office at the second floor. Location is perfect, bus to the airport stops within 3 minutes walk. All the pick up points for the excursions is within 10 minutes walk. Thank you for making our trip to Tromso unforgettable.

Nothing. We had an amazing time in Skaret by Vander. We had a beautiful view at the cablecar up the mountain. Maybe be more specific about views outside from the studio's and apartments.
