The staff has been incredibly helpful throughout the stay: they gave me brilliant suggestions on what to do and see around the Sunshine Coast, gave me all I needed when I wanted to do a BBQ at a park, clean towels to go to the beach when requested.. all without hesitation. Would recommend solely based on this. The hotel is perfectly acceptable: the bed is comfortable and the room itself is OK. The food is definitely above average: the breakfast is delicious, the a-la-carte menu is quite rich and diverse. Overall a great dining experience, especially since if you're working late, you'll have to rely on the Hotel due to every restaurant in the area closing at around 8:30pm.

I was put on Floor 1 due to the upper floors being fully booked, even if I was promised a stay on Floor 2.

This hotel is very close to the hospital, so was perfect for what I needed during a very unplanned trip to the Sunshine Coast. The hotel was clean, rooms were up-to-date, and had all the things one might need if working from the hotel (e.g. USB charging ports, lots of power points, coffee pod machine etc.) I was initially disappointed with the lack of gym, but the hotel is situated right near some excellent walking/running paths around the lakes (which was much nicer than a gym!). The restaurant wasn't amazing, but was solid with good service.

* Filtered water * Undercover parking * Wall mounted flat screen TV * Decor * Easy to navigate *Room service * Big comfy pillows and smooth clean sheets * Air con * Block out curtains and sheer curtains

* Emergency alarm to evacuate went off at 4.30am. * Included breakfast: Was not told when breakfast was or where. Reception gave me 5 mins to get down to ground level for breakfast option. Other customers were also not told about breakfast (sneaky). * The body wash/shampoo/conditioner had all the same fragrance written on the bottles but smelt different from each other and cheaper then what was on the bottle (misleading). * TV had no Stan, Foxtel or Netflix subscription just normal TV. (Disappointing for a ☆☆☆☆) so could not watch any movies. * No balcony outside * Room service had NO dessert options. Was expensive. 1 meal and bottle of wine cost me $90.

We arrived late afternoon after a five hour drive and were impressed with the building and the foyer and the warm welcome. Our room was modern and clean and the bed was really really comfortable; the best we've experienced since Dubai. We had had a late lunch so didn't feel like much for dinner and the lady at reception suggested we walk around the corner to the Bangkok street food place for a wonderfully fresh and healthy stir-fry. The rainhead shower was exquisite and it was a great start to our taxing day. A big thankyou to the very friendly man we met at reception upon checking out, he had a bubbly sense of humour and smiled a lot. We would certainly stay here again if in the area. Position excellent for visiting the hospital and the view of the lake from the restaurant deck was very pretty at night. Free parking was an extra advantage and greatly appreciated.

Location, Staff were great, Bed was semi comfortable however the Pillows i found very uncomfortable. Room was Clean. The Window beside the Lifts could do will a Clean and remove the cobwebs. In General Food was ok.

The Food was ok with the Exception of the Roast Vegi Salad. this was crap, it was almost a whole lettuce with Sundried Tomatoes (Assumed) Mushrooms and some other White thing. Roast Vegies to me are Potatoes, Pumpkin etc. The Photo of what I expected (although not really clear) was NOT what I received very disapointed.

The BIG bed, so comfy and slept so well. The blackout curtainsare magic

Second time we've stayed there, different room. Bathroom is poorly designed. If you open the shower cubical door before you close the bathrrom door, the bathroom door wll hit the glass cubicle door. Both rooms, showering means a very wet floor as the water flows away from the shower and out onto the bathroom floor. Shower spaces need a small ridge, maybe rounded for safety but to stop the water flowing out

Check-in was simple and quick, the room was comfortable with a large bed and a chaise longue. The bathroom was reasonably large, but with only a shower. The curtains kept the morning sun out so that we could sleep in. The hotel provides chilled, filtered water from a dispenser near the lifts, which was a good alternative to bottled water. There was adequate tea (bags) and coffee (instant) in the room and a small container of milk in the fridge. The room safe worked fine to hold our valuables. Breakfast was quite good with a good range of cold and hot dishes, though the breakfast room is not very big.

Parking is outside, in the main, with very few undercover parks. Perhaps this could have been stated? It's still better than the new hotel on the coast which doesn't have any parking (I presume many people walk to the Sunshine Coast... ;) ). As we've found with some other hotels, the builders put the wrong slope on the shower area, so that water runs away from the drain. In this case it didn't overflow the bathroom floor, but it's annoying.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Great coffee in the Cafe. Will stay again

Booked online and checked in not long after. Cleaners hadn't checked our room before we got there, so they were surprised when they opened the door and there we were. We were short a towel, it was just a minor mishap. I'm sure if I asked they would've been more than happy to supply extras. The shower did leak out onto the floor near the toilet though.

Close to the hospital and relatively close to the university. It was also lake- side which was nice. Staff were helpful and dinner in the restaurant was pleasant

No instruction for getting the TV to work, only for adding devices. Really really annoying having to spend 30 minutes trying to get it to work and having to get staff up to the room. How hard is it to have a bit of paper with instructions ?

Generally of a good standard. Staff is excellent. Good housekeeping standard. Very handy to the Sunshine Coast University Private and Public Hospitals.

Room service closes too early at 8.00pm. Particularly if you're visiting someone in hospital in the early evening or are on business. There was a function on whilst I was there and catering was operating for that. At 8.10pm I couldn't get any food in my room after a long day at the hospital. Even if the full room service menu isn't available, a toasted sandwich or something else that's simple should be available until around 10.00pm. There are no restaurants of cafes nearby that are open after about 3.30pm. The nearest food place e.g. Maccas, was several kms away. I was told by reception to call Uber Eats. Not good enough. Need instructions in the room on working the tv i.e.getting into the tv programming. Not a place to stay if you don't have a car.
