Large rooms quite quiet despite the traffic noise outside. Most of the staff were friendly and professional. Only one person was neither. The food was really good. The atrium (not sure what it’s called) has a good atmosphere. The staff really welcome dogs and some even recommended a place for a good dog walk. There are bowls and treats in the rooms too. Being able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast each morning.
The car park seemed too small for a hotel and bar and was almost full but for one disabled space which fortunately we made use of after a crowd of young people moved off it. The walls and curtains in the rooms had various marks and stains which let it down really. We had a meal the first night. The food was good but the service was not good and we had to sit in a hallway with a partition which just felt odd.

Very friendly professional staff, excellent breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant, large room and bathroom very clean and lovely large fluffy towels, complimentary water was a bonus, plenty of free parking too just make sure you register your car reg at reception when checking in
Unfortunately our room 109 only had one window and a large curtain covering the wall which made the room very dark, the lights needed to be on all the time, especially with the room being decorated with dark colours , the rest of our group had lovely bright rooms with two windows unfortunately we drew the short straw 😔

We stayed here as part of my husband's birthday in March 23 The hotel was in a good position and easy to find, it even has a Sainsburys local across the road which was very convenient. It had a good sized car park. It is a lovely looking building. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by such a friendly member of staff who also told us they'd up graded our room which was really nice of them. The whole place was so clean and all staff were just so nice and pleasing. Our room was lovely , nice and big with an amazing large comfortable bed. We had a lovely outside area with seating and a table. One of the things the room had was a fridge/mini bar which was one of the reasons we originally chose this hotel. But wow we were so glad we did. It had a good size desk and chair which is so important for my husband, and a full length mirror which is one of my requirements. Also plug sockets near the mirror for doing your hair. It had a kettle and coffee maker along with teas and coffees and complementary biscuits and water. There were even a whole lot of snacks and goodies in the room for you to purchase . The toiletries in the bathroom were gorgeous too. We ate in the restaurant, omg such wonderful food so so nice. The breakfast was fab too . They have the biggest sausages!!! Poached eggs cooked perfectly. They also had the most amazing very large croissants, yum yum !!! Please don't let reviews of this hotel put you off , a lot of people moan it has houses all around it , I can't see the issue with this , if you stayed in a town/city you could have shops, flats , houses etc. all around that doesn't cause the hotel to be a bad place. I actually thought what a lovely community it seemed to be.
As with a lot of car parks it would nice for spaces to be a little bigger we like a lot of people now days have quite a large car.

This was initailly booked last minute as I was due to collect a car from the nearby area. So I didn't shop around as the location was ideal for my needs. I was pleasantly surprised. The whole facility is very modern and well decorated. The room was large well equipped and came with a bath. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great and service was quick. All for a very very reasonable price.
The restaurant is attached to the hotel and. serves as a stand alone. It was not made super clear how breakfast would work. The issue was quickly solved when we asked reception. However this could have been avoided with the info upfront

2nd time staying at the Heyford, rooms are lovely and spacious even though we stayed in a smaller double this time round. Reception staff always welcoming, helpful and friendly. Staff in general were always very polite and helpful, in the bar and restaurant.
Breakfast- I think as staff was short, service took a long time...luckily we wasn't in a rush. Would of been nice to be greeted and given instructions on how the Breakfast included worked on our first morning at breakfast. Dinner - Although the service was lovely, menu choices were quite limited

Room and Hotel were fantastic, as was the adjoining restaurant. Staff were amazing and had a real sense of family and pride in their work, especially Liz who was at breakfast (Which was delicious) and still working on the Rooms 12 hours later. What an asset. Thoroughly enjoyed and very well recommended stay
Carpet around the bed was past it's best. Cold beans at breakfast, remedied quick enough but breakfast was half eaten by then. Late room cleaning, but not Liz's fault.

Modern hotel woth massive bedrooms and comfortable bed.
Local residents able to bring there dogs into the restaurant area , dogs wandering around restaurant when you are having breakfast dinner was off-putting and they are all over the chairs . Not everyone is a dog lover and I witnessed a couple leave the restaurant before finishing there breakfasts due to 2 dogs freely roaming around the restaurant whilst the owners had coffee on the sofas .

I loved the modern feel and impressive facilities. At the entry to the Cotswolds, just off the M40, this modern block seems rather incongruous, but it's a comfortable and safe place to stay. They have a bowling alley (what?) and electric car chargers, which I didn't know about before arriving - wish I had. The room was very well appointed, spacious and stylish and had a lovely view over the adjacent village green. Good attention from the reception staff, especially a call before my arrival to offer me a more suitable room.
There were a few maintenance issues with the room. I pointed these out and I could tell the manager was disappointed and anxious to put it all right, quickly. The breakfast was attractively presented and made with quality ingredients but unfortunately was left standing for too long so was a bit dry and the eggs were hard. I didn't have time to ask them to redo it. Also, there's bit of a clinical, soulless element to the atmosphere. Maybe it's just a bit too modern and clutter free, even for me.

The staff on reception and in the baton were amazing ..only little thing I would say I'd personally like some coffee sachets like nescafe as we're not hugely into machine coffee and more that 4 of those tiny milk portions
Everything was super Need to look out constantly for offers as we will be coming down much more but weekends are quite pricey so we swapped to mond to Wed and actually got a very good last minute deal ..

Very stylish and well appointed house, lots of local walks and chocolate-box villages itself (although the hotel / house is very much in new-build central!) A Sainsburys local 2 mins away (helpful to buy cloths and washing up stuff!!)
Communication about check in out times was inconsistent and poor. A few basic provisions needed: a sieve and/or colander, and cleaning/washing up kit (heaven forfend if you’re unlucky enough to break a glass: you’ll be picking it up with your bare hands!).
