We checked in late at 11pm having spent the day at Soho Farmhouse and the staff were more than happy to accommodate and welcome us. We were offered a suite upon arrival, which was also a nice surprise. The hotel is spotless and has all the amenities and luxuries you would expect. Breakfast was exceptional and so were the attentiveness of the staff.

To be really nit-picky I would have liked a feather pillow, but this also comes down to personal preference. The bed and bedding was otherwise very comfortable.

Excellent high end furniture and finish to junior suite. Staff extremely helpful Comfortable bed Powerful shower Luxurious bedding: towels:robes:slippers Beautiful gardens Peaceful relaxing location Excellent breakfast and evening Beautiful building

Such a large luxurious suite with the tiniest bathroom, very disappointing No storage for toiletries in bathroom No hooks for coats/ bathrobes No independent single light for side of bed, you had to have both side and wall lights on Noisy fan as no air con No fire escape in attic room No wardrobe/shelves for clothing

I liked the location. The staff was amazing, every morning they would replace the coffee pods, biscuits and water in the room. I liked the breakfast on the 1st morning, it was a la carte. The grounds are really nice to walk around. The room was really cozy and warm. The bed was comfortable. The food was a la carte, but I would have expected better service, better food

I didn't like that for the next couple of mornings the breakfast was served in a buffet style and my opinion was just a normal English breakfast. You had some yogurt, cereal, pastry, butter, jam and honey. Nothing out of the ordinary given the fact how much it costs a night there. When the food was served, it was at a very minimum temperature (not hot), by the time you were finishing it, the last few bites were cold. The drive way, when it rains is a bit muddy.

The hotel is staffed by pleasant and courteous people, and the standard to which the building is maintained and furnished is very high. My room was small (number 17) but very well equipped and had a window overlooking a lawn and formal garden. It represented excellent value for money. The bathroom was excellent, one of the best I've seen and used given the room size. The building itself is 14th century and very beautiful. I don't hesitate to give it five stars.

The only annoyance was that on arrival I asked for a dinner reservation but was told the restaurant was fully booked--there should ALWAYS be a place in the restaurant for staying guests, especially as the Weston Manor isn't that near alternatives. When I stay again I shall book dinner in advance. But for this my stay would have been perfect.

The Breakfast was really lovely overall. Good sausages. Nice continental too - lovely yoghurt and granola. The grounds are really beautiful and picturesque. They supply a lovely robe and slippers and the toiletries smell wonderful!

You have to get there early for breakfast or it doesn't look so good. Also you only have the option of scrambled eggs except on a random day, you got a choice which was good but confusing. There's not a range of coffee either, just plain coffee. no latte, mocha, cappuccino etc. but the coffee is ok.

The food was exceptional and the staff were all very helpful and friendly, They dealt with issues effectively and politely so really good on that front. The rooms were well decorated and looked very smart. The grounds are beautiful and its a fantastic location.

The first room we had to move from due to an issue with Flies. Staff very apologetic and moved us without question. it was a bit of a shame as we preferred the first room but didn't want to share it with the flies. Ran out of a couple of things at breakfast, milk for a short period and orange juice. The cooked breakfast ran out but they did cook up fresh for us and were apologetic regarding the wait.

We arrived after dark & the hotel facade was stunning, the reception staff were knowledgeable and courteous, the deluxe room was enormous & beautifully appointed. Made reservation for dinner & the receptionist made a note of my wife's food intolerance which was passed on to the restaurant staff, chef offered to change ingredients of whichever dish she required. The meal was amazing! Breakfast was extremely good, again my wife's food intolerance was acknowledged and her eggs cooked exactly how she liked them, nothing was too much trouble. All in all an excellent stay, we will definitely be returning.

Nothing; loved everything about the hotel, the staff and the service!

Beautiful manor house, very comfortable bed and we thought the breakfast was good for a buffet. Our room looked as though it had recently been refurbished. We had an issue with the room we were given which was a double and not a twin. They handled this really well and offered us a suitable alternative as they didn't have any twin rooms left. All in all, we had a really comfortable stay and would stay at Weston Manor again.

The seating in the public areas wasn't in keeping with the beautiful and historical building. It wasn't very tasteful. There wasn't a dressing table and chair in our room, and all the lighting was at one end over the bed. The tea and coffee was at the other end in semi darkness. Wouldn't stop me from staying again though. Overall the room was nice and very spacious.

"A Hidden Gem in the Countryside! Weston Manor Hotel is the perfect blend of history, elegance, and modern comfort. The 16th-century architecture and beautifully maintained gardens create an enchanting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. Our room was spacious, with lovely period features and a picturesque view of the countryside. The afternoon tea was a real highlight, and the location is ideal for exploring Oxford and the Cotswolds. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful retreat—highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a charming, historic setting!"

Dialed operator line "100" 2 times the first afternoon and 2 times next day. No answer. Might just be a coincidence.

The Manor exceeded our expectations and is an ideal choice for visitors to Oxford arriving by car. Staying outside of Oxford offers a more peaceful and convenient experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the charming library located at the entrance to the restaurant. Filled with antique books, including a collection of Britannica encyclopedias from the 19th century, it was a delightful surprise to discover such a treasure trove. I spent hours immersed in these historical texts, finding them fascinating and informative.

Prior to booking, I thoroughly reviewed guest feedback. While some one-star reviews mentioned unique situations that we were fortunate to avoid, the lowest overall rating was for value for money, which I found surprising. This was surprising, considering that comparable options were significantly more basic and hostel-like for the same price but in Oxford.
