The pool areas were great, lots of fun for the kids, maybe need a little update on cleaning/disinfecting and a coat of paint. Definitely so much better than the last hotel we stayed at in Orlando, we needed a cleaner happier hotel for the rest of the week, and Caylipso Cay was for sure the right choice. I think it would have been nice to have the little coffee shop open a little longer during the day, but not a deal breaker for us by any means. It would also be nice to have the pool open a little longer at night, when we would get home after a long day, our girls couldn't go swimming and the pool didn't open till later in the morning, which also didnt help us bc we had to leave early. The size of the room was amazing, we didn't feel cramped, the kitchen was awesome, a perfect bonus and so easy to take care of our girls from a food stand point. Furniture was great too, we read reviews that Calypso Cay was dirty and extremely dated, however we found it really lovely! Beds were great, bathrooms were too, the washer and dryer were the cherry on top of the cake, so incredibly helpful!

There were lots of other guests smoking weed, that was very frustrating, but we also understand it's not the hotels fault. It would be nice to have a coffee shop/bar/place to get food or snacks over around the pool behind the check in area.

We loved the size of the room, the facilities, in particular the pools and slide, the washer and dryer in the room, and the surrounding property is well kept. There’s a Walmart within walking distance and plenty of restaurants nearby. We would return given the value and comfort.

The room was nice and clean. There are fans in all of the rooms and chargers on the lamps. The water pressure in the showers was amazing and the front desk staff was so helpful and nice. It was cold, so we did not get to use the waterpark features, but stayed close to them and they looked very nice. There was also a fire pit lit at night which was nice and a ceiling fan on the balcony as well. It is centrally located with a quick drive to any store nearby.

Only complaints are that some of the wall outlets didn't work, the tub jets didn't work and there was only one luggage cart for the entire building I was staying at. Also, the gym is on the small side and kind of outdated.

We loved our room in building 25, room 306. It was clean, big, open, quiet, comfortable. The kitchen was okay. Coffee pot, utensils, and plates were in the kitchen. The dishwasher and big fridge were working well. There is a walk-in closet in the main bedroom. There are BBQ grills in the common area in the parking section that many people use. Nice bathroom. Big bathtub with jets, the pressure was strong and the water was hot. Loved, loved loved the washer and dryer. Plenty of parking. This is not a new building, so we didn't expect everything to be perfect. We had just come from spending several nights at a Disney resort, so this place, to me was a good deal by comparison. The $150 damage deposit was received with no issue too. We went to the pool and tiki bar across the resort road and part of the Holiday Inn area. Go there!! It is very nice and better suited to meet small kids' and their parent's needs. Hot tubs, a pool and kiddie splash pool, and a zip line were available. How cool is that?! The tiki bartender was wonderful, friendly, attentive, and made wonderful drinks. The pools back at the resort were very nice to cool off or let kids play. It was a very stress-free and relaxing place. Everyone seemed happy and smiled a lot. Many very nice and helpful staff. Close to many restaurants and things to do!

The elevators didn't work in the building we were in. The building is older and there have not been many exterior upgrades on building 25. The tv did not have a guide, and the deck area was very nice but you could see immediately that the outside of the building (on the side facing the fire dept), had not been maintained/pressure washed in a bit. We saw a few reviews that mentioned bed bugs after we booked our stay. The first thing we did upon entering the room was to check for bed bugs and other pests. There are no bedbugs or any pesky insects here. Very, very clean!! Be aware that you will be offered a presentation to get tickets to many things. We opted out and all was well.

The suite was very spacious. Liked the washer and dryer in our suite. Made it easier to dry all the bathing suites after the pool. Loved the full kitchen. I was able to make espresso with all my items I brought from home.

You can here everything through the walls. We heard the toilets flushing from the units above us at all times of the day and night. The water is extremely loud running through the walls. Also a drunk woman was dropping F bombs very late at night and very drunk. I woke up to her yelling on the phone for about 10 minutes. I finally fell back asleep despite her noise. Good thing my kids didn’t wake up.

First time we have been to a vacation resort that wasn't a typical all-inclusive. The unit was perfect! The right size, with a balcony. It was clean, well appointed and everything you needed was supplied. We were joined by our son and his girlfriend and it was a perfect fit for four adults. The pools were great, the activities were fun and it was central to everything you could need or want. Can't honestly say that there was one single issue with Calypso Cay and we would not hesitate to book again or recommend to others. Thanks to everyone at Calypso Cay for making this a memorable and enjoyable experience.

It was a nice property with plenty of pools. The rooms were clean and staff were super nice. There are many stores and restaurants near by and the property offered a complimentary shuttle bus to theme parks!

Pictures online are outdated. We have two kids and expected to have access to the playground and arcade that were shown online however neither one existed. Playground was torn down due to future renovations and there were no arcades. They should really update this information/pictures since it was misleading. Also, the jacuzzi in our room was dirty and had hair and dirt specks in it but we didn’t plan to use it beforehand so it wasn’t too much of a bother.

The villa was very clean and specious. The pool area was very nice, water was warm.

I didn’t like how noisy it was. You could hear everything, specifically at night., not only from outside but also the hallways, people going up and down the stairs and the upstairs walking was extremely loud. I would never book that same room.

the grounds were very attractive, location, size of accommodations. Everyone that I asked directions or some type of help question was awesome, very pleasant and most helpful

1. I didn’t see any security. 2. After I told the person that gave us the parking pass NO about the tour because of the reason we were in Orlando they called concerning it again the next day. 3. I know this wasn’t the property’s fault but loud music cussing and fighting Saturday night. Scary!!! the next time we stay with you prayerfully circumstances will be different and we can enjoy ALl the amenities you have

The apartments are extremely clean and equipped with everything you can possibly need during your stay. Including washer and dryer in the unit. They even leave laundry detergent in the apartments. The unit is big enough and very cozy with wi-fi and tv had enough channels (my unit even had HBO and Showmax). Decent size balcony. Jacuzzi in the bedroom area, which is very nice. Shower is big and strong. The pools are great for relaxing and the bar in the pool area is very decent with very nice staff. It's my second time staying there and I will always go back to it if I have to be in the Orlando area. Walmart, gas station and lots of restaurants in the area. It's about 15 minutes away from Disney Sprigs. Extremely convenient and the price is unbeatable. I could literally live there.
