We got a complimentary upgrade to the presidential suite (room 3). Room was magnificent. Bed very comfortable. Bath and shower were very nice. Complimentary mini bar is a plus.

Room was a tad noisy (both noise from the street and from the lobby / other guests) but earplugs were provided.

Our experience at Hotel De was truly outstanding! The service was impeccable — the staff went above and beyond to assist us with everything, from restaurant recommendations and bookings to seamless taxi and train transfers. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and always eager to help. The location is unbeatable, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with comfortable beds that ensured a restful night's sleep. The hotel's fun and modern decor added an extra touch of charm to our stay. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and top-notch service!

one drawback was the ventilation issue. Our room was located two floors above the hotel restaurant, and at times, the smell from the restaurant made its way into our space. Because of this, I would not recommend staying in rooms directly above the restaurant.

This is a beautiful small boutique hotel, everything about it is done with class, style, matching staff and food. It's a small hotel so it has a small number of staff and they do everything including opening doors, help with luggage, serving you a bar drink, operating breakfast, ... all of it with dedication - bravo to them. I was told the owner actually decorated and I could only say WAW, I loved everything about it including the friends art and paintings on the wall.

The parking is available but a slight challenge to get in and out although possible but not with an overly big car. Other then I can't think of a criticism or remark.

Great location close to main market square, but beautifully quiet. Really cool decor, very colourful. Complimentary mini bar (beer, soft drinks), sweets, apples, nice touches. Bed was super comfortable, lovely pillows! Good bar, and pretty quiet patio, so lots of options to relax. A small hotel, very discreet, staff really helpful. There is a restaurant but we didn’t try it.

The breakfast could have been better - there was a reasonable selection, but small quantities and the fruit on offer was limited. The hot food was excellent though, and couldn’t fault the service.

Parking and breakfast are hugely overpriced — but it’s fine when you have goosens with their patisseries and viennoiseries in 7’ walk !

Breakfast was cooked perfectly and lovingly served, but lets face it, you don't stay at this hotel for its breakfast. The decor of this hotel is stunning! We were lucky enough to be upgraded and stayed in room 9 with its quirky and uber cool interior design. The staff were very friendly, helpful and made you feel welcome and looked after. The hotel is in a great location to see all the sites of Antwerp and only a 15min walk from our arrival at the beautiful train station.

Honestly nothing at all. Apart from the fact that I had to check out at the end of our stay as I had enjoyed the stay there so much.

Eclectic decoration in all the rooms puts this hotel miles ahead of any standard “Holiday Inn”. Despite our really short stay, the staff did everything above and beyond to make sure we optimised our time and had a great trip. All the major sights are within 10-20 minutes walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Super central location, amazing garden inside the hotel, our room was like from the Alice in Wonderland fairytale , really loved it and surely will come back. The guy who worked late night in the hotel and served us cocktails and tea was friendly and attentive to every detail!

Everything is great

I'd say everything was above expectation. The location is perfect, its easy to reach all main areas of Antwerp by foot. The hotel feels safe and secure, the front door is closed and always staffed by a receptionist. The back courtyard is very comfortable and on arrival we received some refreshments as service. Staff is very friendly and supportive. Parking is below the hotel and the garage is locked down for safety. They even have charging points for electric cars. But the room was the most impressive of all, beautiful decoration, comfortable beds, well worth it!

This is a very small point, but the parking garage is small and exiting out of the garage requires a bit of skill, however they provide parking in the middle of Antwerp with is rare enough as it is! Also the parking spots themselves are spacious enough for any car.

Beautiful boutique hotel with large bright rooms and fabulous wallpaper throughout. Very original inside with a lovely little courtyard. The staff were very friendly and our doggies were warmly welcomed with gift boxes - a very nice touch!
