Had a spacious room with a small work desk (in case you're there for business) and a couple of comfy chairs (so you don't have to sit on the bed whenever you're in the room). Plenty of complementary coffee, tea and bottled water provided. Small fridge in the room. Welcoming staff.

It could be argued that the hotel would need some refurbishing, but I think this only applies if you're really picky. My assessment is that it is clean and functional.

The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly especially the manager of the hotel Mandy. She provided me with tourist information, directions and also an abundance of local activities and places of interest. The hotel room I stayed in was very clean and tidy and if there was anything I needed I only had to ask. It was a very enjoyable and pleasant experience and I would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in Antwerp to first check out this hotel cause it's very affordable and I give 5 stars for the accommodation and hospitality.

Would be great if there were ceiling lights as most of the lighting was wall mounted.

We were a bit worried after reading some reviews but for us, the hotel was fine. Very helpful staff, cleaning staff did a great job. Yes, room was a little tired, stained silicone in the bathroom and the old carpet needed replacing, but nowhere near as bad as other reviews led us to believe. Good shower pressure, daily cleaning, kettle with coffee/tea in the room, free bottles of water. The short walk to the centre in combination with the price made this a great place to stay.

Nothing, really. If we had paid a higher price we might have expected a little more luxury. Don't think the hotel totally earns its official 4 stars, but reception area and breakfast room are very nice. Think they're doing up rooms a bit at a time.

The room was very spacious and tidy, as well as the bathroom. The beds were comfortable. We were really impressed! There was also a little fridge with water and also you could get coffee. The staff was very friendly. We were really next to the centrum of Antwerp and it was easy to get to the metro and the train station.

Nothing was really bad but if I had to find something I would say that it was a bit annoying that the lights didn't stay on for a long time, they just turn off after like 3 minutes (not in the bathroom, only in the bedroom). And some parts of the bathroom needed some extra painting but it wasn't a big deal at all.

Excellent location and good price. A walking distance from central station. It is close to China town and Thai street. So, if you want a good price authentic Asian food like Thai Chinese or Turkish this is a great neighborhood for it. The room is spacious and there is an aircondition for summer season which is very important.

I understand that some poeple say that the hotel is a bit old but their furniture is new, the old chair cushions and old paint looking walls were not that big of a deal for me.

The hotel is in a good location, less than a 10 minute walk from the central station and then 20-25 minutes from the key museums. The hotel and room were both clean and comfortable. All appliances worked. The hotel staff were friendly and moved us to another room on the fourth floor after we requested a move as the conversation noise below the first floor room from people congregating outside was too much. The breakfast is good with cooked food on offer.

Hotel guests can congregate outside the main entrance and this creates conversation noise which if your room above the entrance is not good. This only happened on the first night out of three and the hotel staff kindly changed our room. The water pressure from the shower was low but may be because of environmental standards.

We had a great stay here. The staff were freindly and helpful, the rooms were clean, cool (both A/C and fans in the rooms) and quiet. The beds were comfortable and clean, with two pillows per person. We had such a great stay that we booked another night a few days later. Breakfast was also great. We will definitely be back!

Nothing really to complain about - just maybe suggestions for improvement. Theres is no food or drink offered outside of breakfast so a vending machine would be a nice addition. The whole hotel could probably use an update as things are a little worn and outdated but in no way unclean or shabby.

My spacious double room had all the main facilities including a TV, safe, coffee machine and private bathroom. The hotel has lifts to upper floors. The continental breakfast had a good spread of cereals, warm food options such as eggs, bacon, plus tea, coffee, and juice. Located close to the Meir shopping street and Opera metro station, the hotel is very convenient, being just over 5 minutes walk from Central Station. A 10 minutes further walk brings you to the old town and the towering Cathedral.

Staff very friendly in all departments. Location for transport and shops excellent. Price good probably because the only con I found were the noisy students residencal area near by which isn't the fault of the hotel. Nice to have a fridge in room.Room was clean and kept clean by staff.

Because a student residencal area was near by it was noisy until the early morning sometimes.

Bit old, dusty carpet in the room, it looked all fine but you saw that it was a bit old and needed a bit of refurbishment and love. Furniture itsllelf was in good condition but more like some walls definitely no carpet any more. Details but that you pay attention on in a room.
