The first impression was Debbie, the property manager. She was great. When we needed something Debbie took care of it right away. Made us feel welcomed. The king studio room was very clean, bed was comfortable with a nice walk-in shower in bathroom. We spent time hanging out by the pool and the atmosphere was very relaxing. A lot of very nice people stayed here at Ocean Villas. It was like a community and felt very comfortable in socializing. Additionally the location was very convenient to the beach. Just walk across the street and walk about 500 feet and onto the beach.

It’s a minor issue, and the coffee maker with the coffee packets were not satisfying for a hot cup of coffee in the morning. We had to go to Publix to buy Folgers and filters to make a good tasting cup of coffee. I would suggest getting coffee and filters for this type of coffee maker or get a keurig with pods. Otherwise we loved staying here.

Large bedroom, comfortable bed (slept very well with earplugs). Kitchen with fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, stove, table and chairs. Updated bathroom, nice shower and vanity. Very large closet room. Property mgr, Debbie, is superb, very organized, friendly, quick to provide for guests needs, just the type person you’d want as a guest.

1. A lot of smokers. Hard to get away from the odor outside of our room although the rooms themselves are smoke free. 2. Property is located on A1A, so had to wear earplugs at night, due to noisy motorcycles and pickup trucks.

Easy to get to and parking on site, 2 minutes walk from the beach. The economy double room was compact, and only had one bedside table, but that's to be expected and the price was excellent for the location. Everything was clean to a high standard. Check in hours were short, but the hotel contacted us in advance and provided a lock box for access outside these times.

The 'welcome' letter was not very welcoming, just a list of charges and things that were not permitted. Perhaps alter this to a bit of information about about the hotel and area with a warmer greeting. If necessary a summary of charges could be on the back. Lighting in the room wasn't that great.

This was my second stay at Ocean Villas and I will definitely be back. Debbie, the property manager, is exceptional and the property is meticulously maintained as are the rooms. Having a small kitchen is a real plus. Rounding out the package is the 3 minute walk to the beach which happens to have a full washroom facility and lifeguards right at that spot. Many restaurants are about a 10 minute walk away along the extremely well presented Deerfield Beach boardwalk.

I can't think of anything I would change.

We have been staying here once a year for 7 years when coming down to visit family. We have always enjoyed it as it is right down the street from the beach, it is clean, and the pool is nice. We have stayed in the updated units every year except this year, and they are updated and very spacious. The unit that you get when reserving through booking.com is much smaller, connected to the office, and there no real room to sit out front. The pics of the room are not an example, it is THE room. The pictures are deceiving as it is MUCH smaller in person.

The size and location of the unit was disappointing. I believe that they save the worst room that they have for booking.com reservations, like a punishment. If you want one of the decent units, you have to book through them directly.

We stayed in the large room with two queen beds and a kichenette. It was a proper size room for two persons. The tv worked well with a lot to choose from. The kitchen was a little outdated, but everything worked well. The storage space is perfect for long stays. The bathroom was renovated and very comfortable. The beda were great. The pool area was well maintained. You can get pool towels from the reception as well as the beach chairs. We really appreciated that. Also, separate shoutout to the manager Debbie - she is always there for you to help. Really great customee service! Thanks!

Maybe that the kitchen was a bit outdated, but overall the room was really nice and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay. From our door the pool was steps away (room #3 ground level.) Literally a few more steps to our car, right out in front with a very short walk straight ahead to the Atlantic Ocean. Deerfield Beach is beautiful! We had the beach to ourselves at night and during the day, it was buzzing with activity.

Do to the proximity to the pool, it was necessary to put the shade down for privacy in the morning. I wish there were more lighting offered in the room. It was too dark to apply makeup or get dressed. The nightstand lights were very small and not bright enough.

Location was ideal, Staff was very friendly and accommodating, my room was adorable.

My only negative comment is that there are long-term customers that stay at the hotel, and there were not enough beach chairs available to everyone who stayed in the hotel. My suggestion would be to increase the number of beach chairs for the all customers, and slated for the number of people staying in each room, and not just have beach chairs available for the long-term patrons. This was the only thing I was disappointed with.

Bed was very comfortable and it was within walking distance of the beach

I did not like the check in process. The staff is only there from 3-6 so if you arrive after 6 you have to call ahead for the after hours check in procedure. They inform you of this when you book the room but what they don’t tell you is that if you arrive late then they want you to come in the next day after 9am so they can run your card. If you are only stopping for one night and are wanting to check out early then they ask for you to send a picture of your photo Id and credit card. If you don’t want to do that they will cancel your reservation. We made it at 5:30 so everything worked out but it made for a stressful 12 hour trip.

Location is spot on, 3min walking distance from the beach. Also the place is very quiet and private, it really makes you feel safe and relaxed. Debbie the property manager was really helpful, she puts a lot of effort in managing the property so it runs perfectly, and she is always aware of the guest needs, definitely always willing to help people during their stay. My checkout was and 11am, so at around 10:30am I asked Debbie if I could go to beach and borrow the pool towels, it was still very early so I wanted to enjoy the rest of the day at the beach but we didn’t brought any towels and we were not going to take them without permission, especially if our stat was technically over; so Debbie approved my request and I thanked her and also let her that I was going to bring back the towels when I was done at the beach, I even offered to leave my license as an insurance but she trusted me which was even better. I returned the towels 2 hours later (the sun was blazing when we got to the beach, and then it started pouring heavy lol FL weather doesn’t surprise me anymore) and I couldn’t leave without thanking Debbie.

TV in room 17A was really bad quality. I suggest not to use the Roku brand since their Software has a lot of bugs, I couldn’t watch Netflix for a whole 30min without it kickin me out of the app, and the loading times where absolutely horrendous, it took so much time to start it up again. Also the shower head from the ceiling was really dirty, almost like it had fungus and mold on the little holes, definitely not sanitary at all. Rather than that, I give this property a 9 because there’s always room for improvement, but I would absolutely enjoy another stay here.
