I really like this hotel, I've stayed many times, it's close to everything, it's easy to take an Uber, or any means of transportation, it's clean, it's not that expensive, the sleeping rooms are comfortable, and the staff that work are polite A bit serious, they hardly talk much with the guests, except for a girl named Karen, who is very kind, attentive, and is always aware of their needs and any questions, she’s very polite and respectful. Thank you Mrs. Karen to make us feeling happy and welcome 🙏🙏

I didn’t like: Well the room was cool when I moved in, and I love it, but after a few days became hot was in comfortable to sleep, also do used to have somebody working all night. in case that we need something on an emergency, but not anymore this is make me feel uncomfortable..the office closed at 1 AM. not good idea most of the hotels have somebody working all night. I want coffee at least during the day😄😄🤷🏻‍♀️

Convenience of location in location to everything around. Directions to check in and 24/7 desk was extremely useful considering I had a late flight landing at 12:30am past midnight.

AC little strong and couldn't control room temperature. But rather be too cold than too hot with the heat outside haha.

Our expectations were not very high, the hotel for us was to sleep and take a shower in the morning and one in the evening. Otherwise, we were outside to see the city. The hotel is very well located in the old San Juan, and the price/quality ratio was very good. We had taken a room for 2 nights without windows, so as not to have the noise of the street, and it was very quiet. There was some work going on in the street that they were redoing and you couldn't hear it. The room is large with a decent bathroom with shower. The WIFI was excellent more than 250Mbps both down and up

It is secure. Perfect location. Room 301 was magnificent. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure in the shower. Spacious room with a sitting/desk area.

The walls are thin and you can hear people walking above you, using the bathroom, etc. but we experienced the same thing at the Sheridan for two times the price last year.

What a great find in the middle of Old San Juan.The hotel is in the heart of Old San Juan as soon as you walk out of the door. You are close to restaurants, shops, and culture. This is not a resort hotel but is a seasoned hotel with alot of history and very economical. The staff was very friendly from check in throughout my stay and check out. The hotel is very clean and staff very attentive. If you are looking for a get away to Old San Juan I highly recommend this place for you. Clean and convenient is what you seek, then look no more.

The SJ met my needs for a centrally located stay in Old San Juan for a reasonable price. It's no frills, but I don't need frills for a hotel stay-all i need is a clean room. with a comfortable bed and a good shower. The SJ met all those criteria. In addition, the manager was extremely helpful, steering me to excellent, local restaurants away from the tourist crowd. He was also very willing to converse and answer my questions about the area, things to do and even my next destination in Puerto Rico. His friendliness added to the enjoyment of my stay.

Could have used in-room instructions on the TV and door lock.
