Perfectly located at Plaza Colón, this hotel is at the entrance of Old San Juan, next to Castillo San Cristobal (the largest Spanish fort in the "New World"). Our King Deluxe room was very comfortable and well appointed. The rooftop restaurant Mar y Rosa is a beautiful place for a drink after a long day at the beach or sightseeing. On the ground level is coffee shop for small pastries. Two doors down, at the corner is Caficultura. A wonderful spot to get a fantastic breakfast. You will be able to wander the cobblestone streets, and take in the old world charm from Alma. I highly recommend staying here.

Because of the open atrium, the hallways are a bit loud and echoey. Sounds of slamming doors and peoples conversations are amplified because of the hard surfaces. There is no in-room dining option.

Breakfast was delicious in the attached cafe. Restaurants were amazing! Did not get to try the rooftop restaurant. Bed and rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Beautiful architecture in the building. Relaxing decor. Absolutely loved the rooftop plunge pool. Small and intimate with great views.

I was there on a holiday week and the staff seemed to be stretched thin. Mini bar/snacks not completely stocked. Bathroom toiletries missing upon arrival. Construction dust was left in the bathroom of one of our rooms from a recent project, and the bed linens were not clean. It looked like someone had a late checkout and the room wasn't checked after that. It would have been nice to have bar service during the day near the rooftop plunge pool. Definitely make restaurant reservations.

Room was very nice - great bed, very clean, great bathroom products, etc. but was pretty small and just had one small window. Also had a great rooftop bar that went had a drink at after dinner each night. Incredible view from the roof

Very expensive, rooms a bit small, pool area was really small and was dirty when we went up there in the morning.

Lovely hotel in perfect location for exploring Old San Juan. Beautiful small rooftop pool that looks out over the city. Staff at rooftop restaurant were helpful and attentive. The room was small but well appointed with everything we needed. The front desk staff were warm and gracious. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this hotel!

Amazing location, building and rooftop pool. It was so easy to get around old town and explore, with lots of restaurants near by. Spacious suite amazing views!

The air conditioning released moldy smell so couldn’t use it much and noisy with the traffic at night.

The staff, rooms and food were really really good. Plus the rooftop bar Resturant has the best views in San Juan. You should highlight this property as I know they are new.

The location was perfect, close to everything in Old San Juan.

It took about half an hour for the water in our shower to warm up. We advised the front desk the night before we checked out. Hopefully it was addressed before the next guests checked in.

Room was comfortable, clean and well furnished. Coffee shop and restaurant were top notch. All of the staff friendly and very helpful

Location was great and easy to get to. Rooms were new and felt contemporary. Beds were so comfortable! Also loved the rooftop bar and restaurant!
