Very clean and comfortable hotel. Very friendly staff. Room is decent size and comfortable bed. Indoor pool a bonus as outdoor pool was closed for the season. Good car parking

Bathroom could do with a refurbishment. Walk into town is along an unpleasant fast road for 20mins. Town is very nice and worth visiting for its bars and restaurants

Elegant room and public areas. Close to Motorway for drive from Portugal to Santander. Good food and pleasant staff. Large room and large bathroom.

The old house is so pretty and beautifully furnished. Everywhere you look there is such attention to detail, the materials used for the curtains, the cleverly framed pictures and gorgeous lampshades, someone with very good taste was responsible for the decor here. Also it is very conveniently situated if one is going to Bilbao for the ferry. It is right on the edge of a quite road so it is easy to find.

We don't usually eat in when we stay in Paradors but thought since it was nearly the end of our holiday we would treat ourselves and this Parador makes a big deal about their food. Sadly highly overrated and disappointing.

Room excellent - clean, spacious, it felt luxurious. Breakfast and pool not applicable. Bathroom very clean and spacious, bath easy to get into and out of. Lift was very useful. Wifi and the number of electric sockets was ideal.

Access - the lift was good but the first steps away from the reception were difficult to negotiate for an elderly person with luggage. The windows opened, but there was no way of regulating them (it was windy). The air conditioning did not work.

The room was very comfortable and you could park right outside the property. The swimming pool was lovely and very large. The hotel is set amongst pine trees in a lovely forest but on a busy road. Tordesillia is a lovely untouristy town, situated on the River Douro, with a very nice medieval square with good restaurants. It is quite easy to park. The parador is very good for a stop over on the way to the ferry.

The location wasn’t great - on a main road and just past some industrial buildings. Not easy to walk into the town of Tordesillia.

we continue to choose this hotel to stay in on our trips from Costa del Sol to northern Spain. it consistently delivers on cleanliness, helpfulness & friendliness of staff, and comfort. the location for us is excellent. we pay a little extra for a superior room which gives us a large terrace overlooking the swimming pool and more room. a perfect little gem for our travels.

The building is nice with a lovely garden and easy to find

It is not in the town and the walk is 2km and not very pleasant. The restaurant staff were the usual unhelpful manager and waiters. It took 30 mins before any water and bread arrived. Food was okay but the chef needs some remedial training on how to cook potatoes and make a salad!

We stayed overnight en route to Santander. It's located slightly out of town but only a 15/20 minute walk. Tordesillas is an interesting town with a beautiful plaza surrounded by restaurants/cafes The parador is a lovely building with character and charm. The rooms were large, comfortable and relaxing to be in. Guests have access to two swimming pools plus other outdoor areas to enjoy. We'd definitely stay again.

The breakfast was pricey at 18€ each. No price list for the mini-bar in the room.

I liked the historic building that had real character with spacious well-equipped bedrooms. I didn't use the pool but it looked a good size. The restaurant was excellent with a good choice of local cuisine. The buffet breakfast offered an adequate choice of hot and cold food supplemented with the opportunity to order freshly cooked food.

Lovely hotel. Good facilities. Easy to find. Lovely room with balcony overlooking swimming pool and trees. Comfortable bed.

One thing spoilt our stay unfortunately. The air conditioning didn’t work. it was far too hot to get any sleep. We didn’t realise this until we were already in bed and too late to ask to change rooms, assuming the fault was just in this room.
