The staff was super friendly and helpful! Michelle went above and beyond on several occasions, to help me! This hotel is truly beautiful and so unique, being made out of salt and with all the lovely decorations! It's got a killer view of the sunset too!

It would have been helpful to know up front that people typically book tours to the salt flats with companies outside of the hotel. Guess I was the only guest trying to line a tour up solo. Fortunately I made some friends who let me tag along with their tour, but otherwise it's hard to line something up and I didn't realize the hotel is not within walking distance of the flats. So maybe that can be sent as a heads up in a booking info message. ☺️

This hotels is one of the best I’ve ever stayed at, how many hotels have you stayed at that you can eat! Perched on a small hill overlooking the world’s largest salt flat, and after the full day trip of the salt flats your the first to be dropped off at your hotel as its right on the edge of the salt flats, rooms are so warm and comfortable, with hot showers, this place is perfect!

The only thing we didn’t like was the breakfast, just not many options for cereals or fruits, and the bread is so crumbly, it’s a really basic breakfast. The lunch and dinners are really good though!

This is a classy hotel and it's beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, the food is great; the sunsets are amazing. Javier is THE BEST guide, ever; hands-down!! He took us on our nightly sky gazing tour plus the salt flat tour. We had so much fun and he was suggesting pictures and videos; we had a blast! Anna, who works at the spa, is an amazingly talented young lady and super sweet. The spa is fabulous with a sauna, jacuzzi and you can get massages, which are FANTASTIC! The hotel is made completely of salt!!

The buffet is quite pricey; 180bs per person (approx. $30)...it was the most expensive meal (by far) we had in our entire two weeks traveling around Bolivia. They do have a lounge area that serves snacky things like nachos, but it too is pricey. The thing is, you are in the middle of nowhere so you are at their mercy. Bottles of water were 20bs each for a 20oz bottle, which is over $3...That is a lot when you are at an elevation of 12,000 ft. and the air is very dry and you should stay hydrated to prevent altitude sickness. I would recommend to travelers that on your way to the hotel, stop in town (Uyuni or Colchani) at a tienda and get some snacks and LARGE bottles of water (con or sin gas:))...

i like the location as its close yo salt flat that save communte time for sunset tour and sunrise tour. it allow us more sleeping time Aircondition is set at good temperature. Good sleep breakfast with good variety and nice view

The check-in jouney is unhappy. The staff is rude and not helpful. He did not active listen and provide support. No hot water in shower. Despite they came to fix it but it lost our quality time. after fix, the shower water is luke warm and weak. It just better that cold shower. Howver, its the worse shower experience in our journey

Nice location, very calm and best views as it is on the hill right in front of the desert! Nice chill out areas and playroom with billiards available. Super helpful staff & guides (we booked the best tour with them) and such nice rooms (super clean and top view). Comfortable, thoughtfully decorated rooms and good mattresses! We have also been to Palacio Del Sal but would rather recommend Sal Luna!!

The shower head was poor and no tea, no kettle in the room. Windows can’t be opened but AC available.

The hotel was built from salt bricks. The welcome was perfect and I booked a massage at check in (very good Holistic massage). The room was big. There was a lounge with comfortable seating, hammocks and fires, very cosy. The food was also good and being 30 mins drive onto the salar, perfect. I stayed for 2 days solo before joining a group tour of southern Bolivia.

Only a minor thing, there was nowhere to hang clothes.

It is a beautiful hotel with lots of areas to sit and relax with real fireplaces. The bedroom was also warm and cosy from the wall heater, and with lots of blankets that I did not need to use the electric blanket supplied to the bed. Check in was very efficient and well organised and a complimentary welcome drink voucher is offered. Breakfast was very good, with a variety to cater to different tastes and diets (I think I saw gluten-free options and non-dairy milk).

It would have been nice to have a complimentary bottle of water in the bedroom. There was also no wardrobe, however, I had a one-night stay, so it was adequate for myself (there were wall pegs near the door).

The location was great, it only took us about 20-30mins to walk to the salt flat which you can see from anywhere in the hotel. I absolutely loved all of the little dens with the fires. Food was good with a nice selection buffet. Our driver to and from the hotel was amazing. When our train was cancelled he stayed and helped flag down a coach for us.

They only had one bike working which was a shame as we wanted to cycle on the salt flats. The spa needs updating. One of the windows is cracked so has condensation in, meaning the view is blocked. It smells in there, probably because of the mold on the ceiling. The room needs proper ventilation.

People at the hotel are so amazing and welcoming! The place is also really beautiful with a lot of cozy spots to hang out. It's very clean, warm, with natural light, and at night you can hang out outdoors in the beautiful deck. I can't recommend it enough!

The AC in our dorm was a little too noisy, even when turned off. Also, I liked the restaurant, but I would have loved to be able to try some Bolivian traditional food there.

Location is simply amazing, overlooking the Salar of Uyuni. Hotel decoration was rustic and beautiful. The lounge bar is quite nice and am added touch to overlook the Salar during sunsets.

Bed is not necessarily comfortable. There was no flexibility for an earlier check in, even though rooms were available.
