The location was very convenient and close to the bus station, town centre and touring companies. Sussy, Chris and Alex were welcoming and lovely to deal with, they were attentive to our requests and happy to help in anyway possible. So that we didnt have to carry all our luggage for our 2 day Salt Flat tour, we appreciated being able to drop our bags off 2 days before our check in date. The included breakfast was tasty, the selection is small, yet the offerings are of top quality, with soft fresh bread and the coffee is the best ive had throughout our 4 week trip through Peru and Boliva. Sussy assisted us in booking connecting flights to Chile and even arranged a packed breakfast on our early morning check out. Best service we had recieved for our entire trip!

A few shortfalls for me: The rooms were very hot in the afternoon and overnight, the beds were not overly comfortable to be honest, TV did not work and although the in-house Pizza's are great, be sure to expect to pay top dollar for the dining experience. Large pizza with 3 extra toppingd cost approx. $40AUD, way more than I have ever paid for a pizza anywhere. Also be sure to have enough cash both USD to pay for your room and Boliviano to food and drink as card payment is not accepted.

She provided lots of advices and supported to help us relief the high altitude sickness. She also helped to purchase some good oxygen boosts (made in US) from La Paz. Its very essential for 3 days 2 nights salt lake tour. Last but not least, we had celebrate our friend birthday at the restaurant inside this hotel. The cake baked by them is the highlight and very good. My b-day gal was very happy and fun-filled. Very thankful for the service and comfortable stay

Everything. It’s peaceful, has a lovely atrium area with comfortable sofas. The attached Minuteman restaurant has fantastic pizzas. The primavera pizza is like a vegetable garden on a pizza. Great coffee even in the breakfast flask. This is not a boutique style place but it provided everything I wanted and exceeded expectations. Eclectic by way of furniture, my room had a table and chair for doing work and a comfortable arm chair to relax in.The shower was hot and there was a efficient radiator which I switched off as I like a cool room at night. The bed was great with cool bed linen and big blankets if needed. Staff were lovely and very helpful. They provided a takeaway breakfast for my early departure to get the ferrobus at 6am. And then, when train was delayed by 5 hours to repair the brakes and I returned to wait it out in the hotel lobby they let me back into my room and made me a great coffee to have with my packed breakfast.

Nothing really although paying in cash is slightly inconvenient. However this is known in advance so can be easily accommodated.

I reserved two rooms here for our group of six people. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable and they gave us rooms that were close to each other. They also have a small garage that looks like it can fit 2-3 cars. They gave us one of the spots in there for free, which was really nice that we didn't have to worry about finding parking. When I checked in, I told them that we had to leave really early the next morning (like 4am...ouch!) and they said they would have breakfast ready for us. They did! They provided sandwiches, muffins, and coffee to take with us, which we SO appreciated. Really impressed by the staff and service. Would stay here again.

Friendly and accommodating staff (they let us have breakfast 30 minutes before usual time to allow us to catch a flight in the morning). Great restaurant that is part of the hotel and offers good pizza (the best food option we could find in Uyuni).

The bed was uncomfortable, the mattress sank too much. We had a small hiccup in the morning because the taxi we ordered through the hotel reception to go to the airport didn't arrive, but it was resolved by the staff that went to order a taxi on the street for us.

The hosts are wonderful! The included breakfast was excellent and the pizza pies made by Chris are like being back home!

Every morning a garbage truck goes through alerting residents of its presence with very annoying music starting at about 5am. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. EVERYONE is woken up in town just to throw out their garbage, which is incredibly invasive and absurd. This has nothing to do with the Hotel Tonito's quality or services, but I would strongly recommend bringing earplugs unless you want to hear awful music every day between 5 and 7am. You'll need them ANYWHERE you stay in Uyuni.

I can't recommend Tonito Hotel enough to anyone staying in Uyuni. We landed at Tonito Hotel after exploring Salar de Uyuni and SW Bolivia, needing a quick recovery before flying onward. First, the staff and owners are amazing, going out of their way to make things easy and comfortable with a very high degree of hospitality. The property itself is well located and while relatively basic, is very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is very good (Steve even had it ready a bit earlier for us since we had to catch a flight first thing in the morning). As an added bonus, this family establishment contains what may be the best pizza in South America thanks to Steve's background in pizza. Nothing better than being able to walk 30 ft in the comfort of your own hotel for an amazing pizza dinner with great beer and wine (and a nice little crowd of fellow travelers), especially after a few long days in the wild!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the hotel! From the moment I stepped through the door, I was welcomed with such warmth and care that I truly felt like I was at home. Chris and Sussy, the owners, went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable, especially considering the challenges I faced due to altitude sickness during my trip. The room I stayed in was not only impeccably clean but also filled with natural light, making it feel incredibly cozy and homely. However, what truly amazed me was the food. The breakfast was an absolute delight, and knowing that Chris and Sussy made everything themselves made it even more special. Those scones were simply divine, and the coffee was fantastic. They provided a breakfast that had everything one could wish for. A massive bonus was discovering that Tonito Hotel serves the best pizza in town, a gem that was recommended not only by the locals but also by my tour guide. It's evident that this place is adored by everyone who visits. I can't express enough how much I appreciate the exceptional staff and the inviting atmosphere of the hotel. Everything was perfect about this hotel. The room was comfortable and warm with a proper heater and a good hot shower. Sussy speaks perfect English and was able to mention a few tour agencies that have the better accommodation which I asked for. The pizza was great and I received a 10% genius booking discount for the food. Breakfast was lovely too, they had waffles :)
