It was 10 out of 10 at the beginning Lesley and Robert was good explaining everything that we need to know if you wanted your room tidy you leave the card outside your room also it was 1st time from all the places that we have been we didn't need to buy extra hangers there was plenty in the wardrobe the plenty of space in our bedroom some bathrooms can be small so if you need more room in the bathroom let them know every room is on ground floor if you like walking from the B&B it's down hill okay BUT it's not easy coming back up hill But if you got a car that's okay if traveling by bus bus times not great shops in Port Patrick not too bad plenty of hotels and cafes for meals and drinks 😊 Stranraer is only place for more shopping and cafes plenty places for well behaved dogs 😁 and family's to find out bus times asked Google also times can be changed it good to have a car taxi fares not too bad also very quiet place to stay the beach it okay oh call in the craft shop near the light house very nice things to buy also you see the work place where things are made. Also another shop selling outdoor clothing on sales if you like a bit of fishing there's boats you can hire I think 🤔 very busy place at the afternoon and evenings if nice weather it's nice to sit outside ☺️ for meal and drinks 🍻 good place for family and friends and dogs the locals are friendly. Also there a bus from Stranraer to girvan only 1hour traveling to girvan but watch what the last bus time coming back.

Lesley and Robert are very welcoming and friendly hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at their spotlessly clean and very comfortable B&B, which has wonderful views out to the Irish sea. Tea/coffee making facilities were available in the room and supplies replenished daily, if required. Free parking is right outside the house and the harbour/seafront/village is a 5 minute walk down the hill. We enjoyed a delicious, hearty freshly cooked breakfast every morning. If we're ever in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Blinkbonnie again - it's an excellent place to stay in a lovely location and Lesley and Robert are great hosts.

Everything was as expected

The property was situated in a very good place and a very short walk to the harbour and restaurants. Parking onsite. Nice view from the front garden patio. We found it to be very clean and comfortable. Tea/Coffee was available in the room too. Excellent shower. Lovely breakfast provided. The hosts Lesley & Robert were very welcoming. Nothing was too much bother for them. We would definitely stay again!

Nothing. Everything was good.

Very friendly hosts, a very good breakfast (especially the sausages) with multiple options for all. Good location up a steep incline only 5 minutes walk from the sea with lovely local walks

while the room was limited for space it would have benefited from a chair for each person(we had 1 small chair). We didn't see any other room so difficult to say if this was possible in those rooms.

Location was quiet which we like, with the views from dining room overlooking the town lovely. Parking across from house was good. Room was tastefully decorated, clean and fresh, with comfortable bed. Bathroom was small but perfectly adequate and shower was good. Hosts were lovely and friendly and they accommodated our dietary needs at breakfast which was excellent. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Clean, well furnished room, with a comfortable bed. Good location on a quiet street close to the sea front. Friendly hosts. Breakfast was good, but not exceptional.

Although everything was functional and well organised, there was not much of a homely feel or special atmosphere to the place. Quite satisfactory for a night or two, but I wouldn't want to spend much longer there. It would be nice if you could choose what ro eat foor tomorrow's breakfast the night beforehand, rather thanjust as you are finishing today's breakfast

Lovely B&B accomodation with welcoming and friendly staff. Rooms were basic but very clean and tidy and supplied a kettle. We could store our milk in the owners fridge which was helpful since we were traveling for a while. Breakfast was with a beautiful view of Portpatrick harbour and we were offered a continental and/or cooked breakfast. The menu was thorough and the food was great.

We found the initial smell of cleaning product a bit overwhelming and too strong.

We only stayed one night as it was to break our journey to Northern Ireland via Cairnryan - Larne ferry. This is a very comfortable guest house and the owner was most welcoming. Good breakfast. Location was excellent as it was nice and quiet, yet you could stroll down to the seafront in just a few minutes where there are a number of pubs and restaurants. Portpatrick is a beautiful little place to wander round. Would happily stay here again if we are in this area.

Portpatrick is a lovely place to stay. Scenery is stunning, people there are really friendly. Lesley and hubby at Blinkbonnie were so nice and helpful and served up an excellent breakfast each morning . We would have loved to stay longer but had to return home. Hope to get back in the not too distant future.

Had no dislikes.

Lovely quality bedding and towels, everywhere was super clean, comfy bed

It has been mentioned by others but it would have been nice to have been shown our room and settled before having to complete breakfast forms. Unusual to have no yoghurt available at breakfast. Minor things but they leave an impression
