We had the best time at the Hotel Margherita, It should be given a fourth star in our opinion. The hotel was spotless, The staff very professional and lovely to chat to. We had a warm and I felt genuine welcome when we arrived late from our adventure on getting to hotel. I can’t remember the female name who was warm and welcoming. I would like to say Simone was very helpful with his local knowledge and lovely to chat to. The breakfast was 11/10. Absolutely excellent and continuously topped up my the lovely gentleman. Thank you to the kitchen staff and whoever makes that gorgeous breakfast 🍳 😊. The beach towels were an added bonus and surprise but such a good idea. Definitely better than any 4 star hotels we’ve stayed in . We hope to return. Thank you

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like. It was amazing, worth every euro. It was an easy 10 minute walk to train station and beaches left and right of Montarosso. We had a beautiful room and so did our three kids have their own lovely room. The outside space was lovely around the hotel Lovely stay and hope to be back

Good location a bit away from the crowds but still very walkable. We had a car and the parking garage is one block away, very convenient. Only about 200 meters to bring your bags from the beginning of the pedestrian only section. Convenient to everything in the old town section, but only 10 minutes to the train station. Lots of cafes and coffee close by. Rooms were big, linens were fresh and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is clean and modern, completely updated. The included breakfast was excellent and the small bar and lobby worked great for a drink before and after dinner. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I found nothing to dislike about the hotel and left with a smile. I would definitely stay here again.

Location was perfect. Breakfast and limited bar was what was expected and good. Mostly modern, which I preferred. The staff was very helpful in coordinating a sunset cruise and laundry. Very happy with both.

On check in the attendant mixed up our keys and gave the double to the single and gave the double key to the single. This caused conflict within our group of 3. We worked it out. Also, I had asked the hotel about a taxi from the station to the hotel before arriving. They advised to walk, but there is a taxi they didn’t tell us about.

We had four rooms for our group. All were as advertised. One room was very warm when we arrived. The staff was responsive to quickly make the necessary adjustments on the AC. Location was better than expected, honestly. It is very convenient to the retail areas of Monterossa, but just far enough up the hill to get away from the more crowded area of the shopping and restaurants. We walked with our luggage (fairly light bags) from the train station. It was a fairly easy 10-15 minute walk (slightly up hill, but no problem for any of our group). I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends looking for a comfortable and convenient central location from which to explore Cinque Terre.

Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The staff treated as family, when my son forgot his iPad in the hotel, the staff reached out to us and genuinely tried to return it to us. They went above and beyond to help us just like a family member and we were able to retrieve it from the staff at the reception desk!. THANK YOU ! Hotel Margherita, we were so fortunate to have you, and you definitely treated us like a family away from home. Besides that the premises are beautiful and cleaned, comfortable, the breakfast was exceptional. We will definitely be coming back to you ❤️

Breakfast was great. Staff was great. Location was great couldn't have asked for more. Like every hotel in the morning when the cleaners come out if you were not checking out, they are very loud outside your room, but this seems to be something that every hotel deals with. That was absolutely Minor. It's amazing value and I would recommend highhly

As I said above the cleaning staff when getting ready to clean their rooms early in the morning, we're very very vocal right outside our door, but that's all I could complain about

We love the location of a property it was central located very close to the beach about a 10 minute walk from the train station . We dealt with three amazing women at the front desk. They were very helpful, friendly and understanding.  there was only one person that was not friendly working the front desk on August 9 and 10th the morning shift. Very rude and nasty . But other than her, I was very satisfied with everyone at the hotel she was not friendly at all. I didn’t even want to ask for her name,  breakfast was also very good. 

I don’t have any negative comments about the property.

Hotel Margherita is a very quaint boutique hotel with friendly staff (warm, welcoming, accommodating), comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, a nice lounge are and outdoor patio. I had the best Negroni at Hotel Margherita, thanks to our friendly bartender Ricardo. The hotel is in the middle of town, close to lots of bars, restaurants and geletaria. It's a bit of a walk to the train station but it's quite pleasant through the tunnel and along the beach.

We stayed for several days. The staff was super, Rachael and Roberto were always there with a smile and create a good atmosphere.The cleaning staff were very kind and wellcoming. The location is great. The rooms are smaller, but it is Montesoro. Very clean and great spot to watch the crowds go by. Great place for a base to visit the other villages. We would go back again.

Lots of Tourist... but monterosso has many restaurant and good fish and pasta.

Location location! Small walk from the parking garage in old town Monterosso, our terrace overlooked the quaint streets. Rise to the sound of beautiful Italian voices greeting each other “buongiorno”. We ended up with the terrace and I would highly recommend it! We loved just sitting and taking in the atmosphere! Breakfast was typical and delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Bed was a little hard, but I would still stay here again and recommend it as the perfect spot in Cinque terre. We didn’t want to leave!
