I had a pleasant stay at Kingston TOP 10 Holiday Park. Compared to accommodation in Queenstown, the cost was very reasonable, offering great value for money. The lodging was well-separated, ensuring a quiet and peaceful environment. The shared kitchen facilities and shower rooms were also clean and well-maintained. One of the conveniences I appreciated was the ease of booking the Milford Sound coach tour, with the pickup location right in front of the accommodation. The only downside was the location, as it’s about a 30-minute drive from Queenstown. Additionally, there are no supermarkets nearby, so it’s necessary to purchase any supplies in advance. Fortunately, the accommodation provided this information beforehand, which was helpful. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and would recommend Kingston TOP 10 Holiday Park for those looking for a budget-friendly alternative near Queenstown.

One area for improvement would be the laundry facilities. The washing machine and dryer require coins, and it would be more convenient if card or mobile payment options were available.

Service of the staff is excellent and make our stay all the more present. When we realised that the 'bungalow' didn't have an attached bath, we asked if we could pay to upgrade to one that does, the staff consented. Communal kitchen is lots of fun, fully equipped, the wooden building is both modern and comfortable.

One of the beds is housed in the living area of the 2 bedroom. It is a bit awkward as the kitchen and dining table are just next to the bed. The cottage is situated away from the main building (motel) and the surrounding is dark at night so getting back to the cottage from communal kitchen can be inconvenient. Driveway to the cottage is also not clearly marked. This accommodation is in a remote quiet enclave of houses with no ammenities nearby.

Everything about this stay was easy and wonderful. We had just spent over a week camping in tents and roughing it and when we arrived at Kingston, we had been on the road for hours. We stunk, were tired and felt grotty. It was nice to be checked in quickly with no hassles and have all the information we needed, given to us. The place was so clean and the beds super-duper comfy and close to the shop and the lakefront. It was exactly what we needed before we headed home to Northland the next morning.

Used as we were passing through the area so, very convenient. Clean and very presentable. Staff were superb, very keen to assist and please.

Very much a 'Booking. ... ' problem - their description at the time we booked (March 2024) was misleading. I will stress, this was not the site's issue and great lengths were taken to resolve and clarify. Recommendation is to use the site booking page directly, you will not be disappointed.

We wanted somewhere that was away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown, and that was on the way south. This place was perfect. Kingston is a sleepy little place, which was exactly what we were after. Unfortunately we arrived a bit late due to some trouble in Queenstown, so it was a relief to come here. The room was clean, and our late arrival was seemless.

I have nothing bad to say about the place. There's not much to eat around Kingston, but we stopped at The Coffee Bomb on our way south, which was great.

We checked in late and our room was left open for us with key inside... too easy. The cabin is very new and well appointed... very comfy. The kitchen and bbq area is so well done - so easy to use and super spacious. Best i've seen and others there were saying the same.

we were in the cabin next to road and sound of traffic was quite loud... the cabin could definitely use a fan to get some air moving.

We got a very spacious, clean and well-maintained cabin, had everything we could have asked for. The location is great, surrounded by mountains and very close to the Lake Wakatipu. Shared kitchen had everything you need and more. Outdoor play area was nice and cosy. My kids loved the trampoline. Overall, an excellent hotel which is close to the Queenstown.

I arrived late in the evening so didn't really get to fully enjoy the log cabin, but the short time I was there was so lovely and make me wish that I had more time to spend there, and that I'd considered more stays at Top 10 Holiday Parks during my time in NZ. Clean, quiet, comfortable.

Maybe because it was my first stay in a holiday park, but I felt like communication could've been better and more clear as to what to expect when I arrived. Initial response was a bit delayed so I had to send a follow up, and there was no mention that no one would be at reception when I arrived. Once I got oriented though when I arrived it was all good.

The location was great. It was peaceful, and close to Lake Wakatipu and the Kingston Flyer. The shared kitchen had a wood fire going which was great to relax next to at the end of the day. Staff were helpful with great tips for our stay

The cement bollard in the carpark area is in a terrible spot. And the shower door allowed water to pool on the bathroom floor
