The three ladies I had the pleasure to speak with at reception, at different times of the day, were all very nice, accommodating and especially very helpful. Hanna went out of her way to find information online for me for some tourist attractions in town and to go to Carcross. One of the two ladies who works the night shift was extremely proactive in finding a solution after the heating system stopped working in my room. She took care of everything, she was really thoughtful. And the other one was very pleasant and nice to speak with about the Northern Lights and where it was best to see them. Overall the best part of my stay were them three. Great service, keep it up!
It was either the product they use to wash the bedsheets, or some sort of bugs in the bed, but it was quite uncomfortable and itchy to sleep. The rooms are a bit dated, but very functional and comfortable over all. The shower pressure and the coffee machine were quite nice to have.

My third-floor room was very dark thanks to thick curtains (I stayed here in July during long summer daylight hours). This was a major plus as my friends stayed in other hotels, did not have this kind of darkness, and struggled to sleep. It was large, comfortable, and had good basic amenities (coffee, etc.). I asked for an iron and ironing board, which the room did not have, but they were brought to me within 10 minutes. The location on the main street is fantastic, being just far enough out of the main drag to be a little quieter. I did not have any issues with noise while staying here. My room did not have an air-con, but it did have a large fan, which helped cool the room. I use a fan at home for cooling and white noise, so this was perfect for me but might not be for others. The decor and furniture are a little dated, but after seeing other hotel rooms in Whitehorse, I found them fine, particularly in terms of the cost. Despite that, it was clean and well-maintained. I think due to their alcohol license, there can be some "characters" at the front of the building during the day. Saying that, I never had a bad interaction with any of them; all were friendly, but it may put other people off. It was no worse than any other area in Whitehorse. I felt safe walking back there at all times.
For the price, nothing. I know for a fact that there are more expensive and worse hotels in Whitehorse. Perhaps a little dated, but for the money I've stayed in worse.

Great location. Didn’t have to rent a car. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Rate was reasonable. Had a fridge and micro wave. Quiet.
Room was dark. Needed more lighting. Stairs only, no elevator. I didn’t need an elevator but would be tough for those who do. Hallway carpets stained. No plates and cutlery in the mini kitchen. Bed had no blanket but when I asked for one it was provided cheerfully and with an apology. No towel racks in the bathroom to hang towels.

Our stay was excellent for the price, in fact it exceeded our expectations. Location is perfect, quiet , clean, had good kitchenette, microwave, fridge. Nice clean, thick, dark curtains, keep in mind the sunlight is 20 hours a day. The staff was polite and pleasant. I would recommend this hotel over Strernwheeler Hotel, price is great and it’s better!

Clean, comfy bed, new soft looking carpet, check in very nice..
Climbed 2 flights of steps with luggage, etc, smelled hugley like dog, mis matched towels n washrags, dish soap, one knife n can opener (site said dishes), got supper n ate with knife n coffee stirs! Staffs dog "Oreo" was friendly. Outside was sketchy looking, but tired, locked door n went to sleep!

This is a lovely reasonably priced hotel in a great location. The staff were very helpful as we had two separate bookings for adjoining dates, retaining the same room was not a problem. The rooms are well appointed, spotlessly clean, beds comfortable and everything worked.

Do not let outward appearances deter you from staying here! Rooms were spacious, shower hot with great pressure and AC a bit loud but kept the room cool. Parking lot is small, but next to RCMP station, so real safe. Staff was great, especially the night crew.
No elevator almost killed my knees. After a day of sightseeing it was not fun climbing three flights of stairs with suitcases!!!

Clean, quiet, central. Great bed, plenty of hot water in the shower. Some may not be happy with the '50s furnishings, but it had everything you need, just brown. I would go back.
No elevator, so have to carry luggage up a steep stairway to the 3rd floor. Odd: air conditioner in the room itself.

The location was great. Easy walk to the river and to the main road with some nice restaurants to eat to.
some of the girls at working the front desk were busy doing their hair and speaking in another language making it awkward when we were checking out.
