What a gem in the heart of downtown! I will never forget the feeling of walking out the front door in the morning and being greeted by the perfect view of those gorgeous mountains! Our room was classy and comfortable with a very nice large bathroom which I was not expecting in a building of this historic age. The restaurant is delicious, great drinks on the rooftop bar with a great view! I love that coffee and tea are available early in the morning and I also love the “secret” door to the saloon next door! I walked to the river trail every morning and enjoyed all the hiking trails within walking distance. If you want to be close to the heart of it all, this is the place for you! I loved every moment of my stay here!

What a beautiful surprise this hotel is!!!! I was expecting an old , run down place.... it is a well maintained, historical, esthetically pleasing hotel with lots of history, old time charm, very friendly staff...and a rooftop bar !!! Our room was a luxury comfort, space and pleasantly smelling oasis ...we really enjoyed our time in New Sheridan. There is free coffee and tea in the morning, and you can buy breakfast if interested. The location is great, just in the middle of all and still we did not feel as it was busy, loud or crowded.... I would love to come back in the future!!!

I liked everything.

Great location. From the bed to the temperature, everything was very comfortable. The hotel is in amazing shape. They clearly take really good care of the place. Ski lockers and boot dryer in the basement was an unexpected bonus. Easy walk to lots of great food choices.

Parking isn't great. We were able to find places on the street, but watch for certain days are not allowed so for long stay you will have to move your car even if you don't want to. Hot water and water pressure could be improved. When everyone is getting ready in the morning the pressure drops low enough the shower turns off and the hottest setting during busy times is barely warm enough.

Beautiful location, rooms, and modern amenities with an elegant old school charm. Staff was excellent and so too are the bars and restaurants associated with the hotel. Right on main street, with the opera house right behind it.

Nothing, I thought it was completely excellent all around. Perhaps the only thing I didn't enjoy was the lack of central A/C but it's Telluride so you don't really need it! Top marks all around.

The staff was as friendly and helpful as I think I've ever experienced, from the restaurant to the check-in/out to the cleaning crew. Food was delicious, during our stay we ate at least once of each meal. Not a huge selection but sufficient and everything was delicious. Fabulous location. Loved that they had ski lockers (and boot heaters) since rooms are a bit on the small side, but within expectations given the historic nature of the building. Was perfect for us as first time visitors to Telluride, and great value compared to other options in town. Would definitely stay here again.

Would be great if option to include breakfast as part of hotel stay, with a little bit of savings. Only other suggestion that could make it better is if there were a way to have a hot tub, really miss that after full day of skiing.

We loved the vintage look and how clean the bathroom was. The bed was cozy. The staff was super accommodating and very friendly. The food was delicious and the cappuccino too.

That we couldn’t valet or park near the door to unload. There was also a parade at check in, so may be it is easier on regular days. Parking sucks in general In Telluride.

Excellent location. Helpful friendly staff. Quaint Victorian styling. Lively bar and good restaurant on site.

Windows thin allowing for noise however these are being replaced during the off season. The elevator was unfortunately broken.

All was great! Staff is awesome! Very kind, gentle and helpful! In the heart of the town! The hotel offers 20% for guests for brunch/lunch! The hotel have a nice restaurant, bars and roof bar! Walking distance to restaurants, museum, trails and gondola! Also free parking! It is very friendly for kids too! We are one hour from Ouray and two hours from four corners! The only small thing is that you stay by the window it is a little noisy but we really didnt care! We enjoyed too much this hotel and the city that we plan to stay here again!

Location is prime when visiting Telluride. Yeh staff, specifically the manager and a specific friendly bubbly waitress/host. These specific people were fantastic.

The price but Telluride is not a cheap place to stay.

The location was great. Easy walking distance to everything. I asked for a quiet room and got one. The staff went above and beyond my expectations. I just got off the town loop bus and realized I lost my camera. I told the front desk person about it and he said he would ask the bus driver about it, the next time the bus stopped. A short while later, I get a call from the front desk saying my camera was found! I was so happy! I think his name is Aaron. The people at the hotel really care about you.
