Amazing decor throughout. Our bedroom felt luxurious and we loved having a hand basin each. The dining room had a fantastic collection of tiered cake plates and other gorgeous china.The breads and sweets available were excellent. Reception staff were professional and attentive. The breakfast host was outstanding and made us so welcome, with coffees on demand. Great location, right on the square.

Staff were all superb. Very friendly. Very helpful. Absolutely loved the room. Shower was superb. My wife loved the bath too although a tadge difficult to get out as it’s so deep. Breakfast room was wonderfully quirky & eccentric. Absolutely would go back at a drop of a hat. 4/5 star luxury at a 3 star cost. Superb value.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like the steps going up to reception but that’s the only thing that comes anywhere something that could be called dislike. Maybe the room could have had a little more natural light but it really wasn’t an issue whatsoever.

We had a room for two nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and clean, althought a little bit dark. However, the decoration was beyond beautiful and it made for a relaxing time. We loved the teapot inside the room, too. The beds were comfortable, and the room had enough space for our suitcase and all out things (we were two). The toilet and the shower were separated, which is quite convenient. All in all, we loved the room! But the best part was the staff. They speak English and they are pleasant, polite and helpful. The reception is 24h and they were always ready to help us! Another small thing is that they offered free bottled water for each room, a warm welcoming detail.

The only thing I'd recommend is bringing earplugs just in case. The wooden decorations might be noisy at night, as it was the case once for us, since we could hear people walking upstairs.

Finding a hotel with parking in downtown Lyon is tricky at best - especially off you want a hotel that has some traditional charm and isn't a cookie-cutter American-style hotel like you can find in major cities all over the world. I was so very happy to have come across this beautiful, charming hotel right in the heart of Lyon for the first two days of our trip. Were able to park right out front to drop off our bags and check-in and then I had to move my car a few blocks away to an underground garage at the Alexandra Hotel that they have an arrangement with, for an extra charge of course. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. You have to carry your bags up top the reception and then there is a small elevator if you want to use it to go up to higher floors. Our room was absolutely beautiful, with a fantastic, comfy bed and big windows that opened out onto Place Bellecour. We really wanted the old-style bathtub as well, which was delight to soak in after long walks through the city. With the windows closed you couldn't really hear any of the street traffic except for the odd motorcycle. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and the pretty girl who made our coffees and eggs was absolutely charming and very friendly. Located in a very safe part of the city and within walking distance of some really terrific restaurants - I can not recommend this hotel highly enough!!

The location is perfect. You can walk everywhere. If you prefer, there is a subway station across the street. The rooms are good size by US standard and there is a tub and a shower! The decor and feel is elegant and functional. The staff is very pleasant and very helpful.

There is no elevator to the lobby, so while we were on the first floor, carrying the luggage was a few trips. The bathroom is very cold in the morning. Maybe a towel warmer could take the chill out. There is no special rate for the garage (public) if you plan on bring a car (which you really do not need in the city)

The staff made this place as far as we were concerned. They were so helpful and informative. The location was excellent, and the hotel was like the Tardis! The dining area was a surprise as was The Throne room! The hotel is quaint and full of history and character.

We realise it is because of the age of the building that the entry can't be changed, but it was less than welcoming. The shower leaked on the floor and there wasn't a waste pipe for the water to escape. The room was tiny which allowed very little space for two large suitcases or to be able to walk along the base of the bed. The ac was not effective. A heavy douvet was not necessary at this time of year. Perhaps the alternative of a blanket or summer weight blanket would be advantageous. Despite all these negatives, we still enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was full of character and it was a pleasure to experience a stay in this historic building. The staff obviously were very proud of the history of the building and worked hard to provide modern conveniences whilst maintaining it's unique character. Breakfast was delicious and felt like stepping back in time with the lovely breakfast room. The location was fabulous, right in the centre of the city, but as the bedroom looked out onto the internal courtyard it was very quiet.

We had a lot of luggage and it should be noted that there is no lift from the ground floor, however, the staff did offer to help us if we needed it.

Gorgeous room with ornate details and antique furniture, very French. Surprisingly enjoyed using the bath with a hand held shower head, different but added to the old time experience & decor of the room. Toiletries provided were very thoughtful and high quality! Location was fantastic, close walking distance to the nearest underground parking, supermarket “monop”, fantastic restaurants/boulangeries/bouchons and the old town “Vieux Lyon”.

Floors creaked loudly in places however wasn’t too much of a bother as once we knew where they were it was almost fun to step around them and see if we can walk around with creaking the floors, ha! Also no TV or digital tablet as mentioned in the included/featured facilities.

What a gem of a hotel! It was truly like stepping back in time to the Belle Epoque but with all of the modern comforts. Every little detail was thought of -- the tea kettle in the room is disguised as a porcelain tea set, the thermostat is hidden behind a tiny paneled wooden box that fits seamlessly in the sorroundings -- the light switches have been carefully selected to envoke the feeling of stepping back in time. The room was meticulously decorated, clean, and comfortable and had a beautiful view of the square. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even provided an option for parking (30/night), which is to leave your car in the secure parking garage of a nearby hotel, which we found very helpful and practical and cheaper than other options in the bigger garages in the area. Would definitely stay again!

I don't think this is a handicap accessible property. While there is an elevator in the hotel itself, you first have to go up a flight of stairs to reach the lobby of the hotel. To the best of my knowledge, there is no elevator available on the ground floor.

Corte Realdi is a wonderful place to stay in Turin. Our room was spacious, had a great view of the square, was beautifully furnished furnished with a couch, coffee table, tables and chairs looking out one window and a comfortable chairs near the other window. The room had a very comfortable king size bed and a a beautiful big bathroom with a shower and large tub and a large towel warmer. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It has a very convenient location nd even a taxi stand out front. A traditional European breakfast was brought to the room at a time of our choosing each morning. We enjoyed watching activities on the square from the two large open out windows of our room 4 floors above .We can't think of a better place to stay in Turin!

Everything was ideal. No complaints whatsoever.
