Hotel Palmyra is a very nice, little hotel near the center of Argassi. Though is very near to the street, shops and tavers, the hotel is quiet and the pool area very relaxing. The pool is a nice size and clean with enough sunbeds for everyone. I don;t eat breakfast but I accompanied my family and there were plenty of choices savoury and sweet, fruits & yogurt. One of the best things about Palmyra Hotel is the bed, it's very clean and comfortable. We stayed in the Deluxe room which had a beautiful seafront terrace with sunbeds and chairs.

As a minus, I would say that the hotel bar doesn't serve many options, not even a slice of lemon for the gin&tonic. The other bar over the pool is not managed by the Hotel and has the same problem with the beverages, doesn't serve many options.

The hotel is really nice and it's in the center of Argassi. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around. The rooms are modern and very clean. The staff is absolutely lovely, especially Miss Marina Tsiasioti who helped me organize my medication delivery. Breakfast is tasty, but it's the standard type of breakfast you get at hotels. They should definitely change the coffee machine and the soft drinks machine. The drinks from the machine taste like chemicals. The coffee machine also makes disgusting coffee from powder! Why can't they offer a pod coffee machine with natural milk instead of powdered milk? If you choose the half board option, you'll receive a voucher for a restaurant where you can choose three meal options. You have to pay for drinks though. Overall, it's a nice and quiet hotel that I would recommend.

Modern and stylish hotel with great facilities. Breakfast had a great selection. The pool area / gardens are clean and spacious. Location couldn’t get any better, right in the heart of Argasi with many bars / restaurants nearby but quiet enough to relax. Close to Zante Town (Harbour) less than €15 in taxi (8mins drive). All hotel staff were friendly and the cleaners visited regularly to replace bedding, towels and toiletries. Very happy! I would highly recommend.

Everything was great!

Pretty much everything! Super clean and modern rooms with up to date furniture. Keycard system super high tech. Cleaning staff precise and fast! Reception is super kind and helpful, location is perfect. Breakfast was good enough. Shower by the pool had good water pressure. Loved our stay there! This hotel should be 4 starts, not 3!

The only thing that could be better is the fridge, that was the only thing outdated.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the room was renovated, cleaners were cleaning every day and providing new towels. Pool was always clean, very nice breakfast with many options to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is in the middle of everything you will need with great restaurants near by. If we would come to Zakynthos again we will for sure choose this hotel.

Fortunately when we booked in our aircon was included in the booking. Other groups of our party had to pay €10 a day for aircon. This was an €140 per a room on top of what they already paid. Do not wear white or light colours to the pool. It stained all of my clothes yellow.

Balcony very dark and shaded but I understand that would be preferable for some and is just personal opinion . Cleaners provide an exceptional service . Staff very professional hard working team. Breakfast choice excellent.

The food was good and the fruits were fresh and delicious. The cleaning system is very nice and eficient. The pool was clean and sun beds were available for everybody.

Breakfasts were the same every single morning. After a few days I got bored of the food. In order to use the fridge in the room you have to request a key. Also the lock to the bathroom in a few rooms (i have booked 5 rooms) did't worked properly.

The Palmyra hotel was a positive refuge during my trip to Zakynthos. Prior to that, I had had poor to average experiences at other higher-rated hotels on the island. It is a very professionally run modern hotel that you can liken to the Melia hotel chain in Spain or the Jolly Hotel chain in Italy. Reception is welcoming and flexible. The facilities have ample seating areas inside and outside--there's a TV lounge and many sunbeds and tables surrounding a very large beautiful pool at the center. Marble floors everywhere! Very clean! Rooms had a balcony with table and chairs. Toiletries were first-rate--Zealot of Nature. Shower was modern with a rain shower head as well as handheld; no tub. The shower has a transparent glass through which you can see the bedroom. Beds are very comfortable; you'll have a good night's rest. Hotel guests are not rowdy. The location is in Argassi--in which upscale Michelin-like restaurants like Dominicale, Utopia and Anadalis are found. A block away from the hotel is a bar/club called 360 Skybar that plays American pop as well as reggaeton. (In my opinion, it's the best neighborhood in Zakynthos.) Parking is available and easy to find. Bus stops to area beaches are also within a block radius. Walkable area. Good beaches are about a 20-minute drive away.

Those who need privacy may not like a glass wall separating the shower from the bedroom although there is a curtain available to maintain privacy. Pool use is restricted between 7am and 7pm; so discard the option of a late evening swim.

This is a fantastic hotel in the centre of Argassi. It is so modern and up-to-date. We loved it ❤️ and will definitely rebook on a return there. The staff are all so helpful & friendly from housekeeping and all the ladies at breakfast. A special thank you to reception for their help. Thank you all so much for making us have a lovely holiday 😘
