Loved our stay! I would definitely recommend to stay here when visiting Thira, Santorini. Location is on the main road of Thira. Like a 2 minutes walk to all restaurants and shops. Loved how friendly and welcoming the staff were. They gave us information about what to see on the island and were happy to help organise transfer to the airport if needed. Beautifully kept hotel grounds. The pool and rooms overlook the ocean. So peaceful. The breakfast is delivered to your room each morning, and they give you breakfast options and they feed you so well. Croissants, cheese pies, chocolate cakes, fruit, coffee, orange juice, bacon and eggs...so much! so good! We were pleasantly surprised to see the room was renovated from the pictures we had seen on bookings. We had a great renovated greek style room that was spacious for two. The big pool and smaller outdoor spa pool was awesome!

We had a fantastic stay at Dream Island - the staff were faultless - Very accommodating and friendly. The pool area although small was spotlessly clean and the most comfortable poolside sun beds I’ve ever used😊 The villa we stayed in had a plunge pool area outside which was an added bonus! The location of DI is fantastic - it’s a very short walk to Fira centre but very quiet.

We stayed in Villa Santorini (2 bed villa) which didn’t have much clothes hanging space for 4 people. Also there are height restrictions in doorways which would’ve been useful to know as hubby is 6ft 2 and had a couple of bumps!

This is a lovely small family-run hotel with a nice pool deck with plenty of comfy sun loungers and shady spots. We didn't try the food but the location was great...just a short walk to the main part of Fira, which is a cute town with tons of restaurants and a bus nearby that took us to wineries and other cute towns. The owner was very friendly and helped us book a ride to our ferry to take us on to our next destination. Would stay here again.

The room was a bit small for the three in our party but not so small as to be uncomfortable. The main thing I didn't like was that we couldn't drink the water and has to buy water each day...not sure if this was a temporary or permanant thing or perhaps applicable to the entire island.

I have to make a big shoutout to this amazing hotel, not only because of the accommodations but also the people running this hotel. Firstly, the accommodations: the bedroom was exactly like the pictures, the beds were so comfy, they were fixed to the ground in the same white material of the walls and ceilings, not making any noise… so beautiful! There was a skylight in the big bathroom, making much brighter than we were expecting! The room was connected with other rooms through a lovely patio where we eat our big and excellent breakfast (from which we could, arrange a good snack for the day!). If there was noise from the patio, we could hear it easily I admit, but everyone was respectful, luckily! The patio was a short stair away from the amazing pool, whit a big area to relax around the pool on those hot days (dreamy really!). The location is really central, from the bus station you have to walk a little bit, but it didn’t bother us (you have the possiblility to ask for transfer if you prefer!) And the sunrise... breathtaking! Everything was so nice; you won’t be disappointed at all! And last but not the least, the personnel… They helped us in a stressful time (a wallet was stolen/lost) and they guide as thought all process, arranging transportation to the airport in a late hour and such a short notice. We are deeply grateful for everything they have done for us. I’ll write here an important tip: if you travel to an island in Greece by airplane, make sure if you have to have a layover, make it in Athens. If your ID cards get stolen, if you have only a layover inside the country, you will only need to go to the police and get a paper (written in Greek). If that is not the case, you have to fly to Athens to your embassy and spend easily almost 100€ a flight (is way fastest than the boat) to go there and take care of everything you need, adding another 100€ to come back to the island. Is an all-day loss. Regardless all the setbacks, we highly recommend this hotel!

The location was awesome! It was within walking distance to everything, coffee, shops, meeting spots for tours. Very centrally located. The staff, Carolina and Dimitris, were the kindest. Carolina was so sweet to us. She waited for us one night we came back late from Oia (we had a little trouble finding a taxi to bring us back to Dream Island). She ran up to us when she saw us from the office and was so happy and relieved to see us since she knew we had gone up to Oia that afternoon. She was so caring and so sweet. There was an amazing pool and it was never busy or loud. I loved seeing it everyday when we got out of our rooms. The view from this hotel was also wonderful, very relaxing and the swings were lovely. I sat out there with a glass of wine one night just enjoying the air and being there in Santorini. We got the in-room breakfast one morning and that was delightful. The croissants they served were one of the most delicious croissants. No other croissants quite matched to that. I was in search of that the rest of our trip and I didn't find it in other bakeries/restaurants, another island, nor in another country that we traveled to. We also had our clothes washed and dried and that helped us a lot; they did such a wonderful job. We got it back in a bag, all neatly folded at the end of the day. Overall, we loved this hotel and would definitely come back and stay here again. It was clean and the room was comfortable for the 3 of us, we each had separate beds that was comfortable. The hair dryer was amazing it was powerful and worked so well. And I would love to see the staff again especially Carolina. I feel like we have made a friend there.

This is not necessarily a negative; I feel the shower stalls there don't have doors to contain the water from splashing out. I say this because we also traveled to other islands and it was the same.

Beautiful facility and excellent service! One of those dream lodgings you think of in Greece - white buildings scattered down a steep hillside with a blue pool. Some rooms are accessible by stairs, but ours was accessible totally by paved walkways. Staff will help with luggage anyway. Had chairs and table outside our room - perfect for eating breakfast there. Each room is unique. Our daughter's had a separate bedroom in an arched "cave" that was picturesque. All service was great, but Carolina was totally outstanding and helped arrange van transportation for our family and fulfilled other requests. We liked our driver, Chris, so much that we booked him for all our transport needs to Oia, to dinner, and later to the ferry. Property itself was easy walking distance to everything in Thira (of course, it's steep being Santorini).

The pool area is lovely. The hotel is very clean. Rooms are basic but comfortable and I especially liked that they had windows so I could sleep with fresh air not air conditioning! Staff were friendly. The hotel reached out to arrange a transfer to the hotel which was appreciated.

While relatively central it is still an uphill hike to the hotel so would be challenging for anyone with limited mobility or fitness (but then again, all of Santorini probably would be!). The rooms higher up with balconies would be the nicer of the rooms. Mine had a shared patio which is probably fine if you know the people you're sharing with, but not if they happen to be a group of partying girls right outside your window. The rooms were also near the staff/cleaning room which was noisy in the morning.

As soon as we arrived at Dream Island we knew we had made the right choice. We had a very warm welcome, given everything we needed then shown to our room overlooking the beautiful pool area. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool area was fantastic - lovely swim, comfortable (and huge) sunbeds + towels. We saw the sunrise over the pool early next morning which was stunning - I could even see it from my bed. Although we didn’t love Fira as a place, the hotel is perfectly located with 5min walk to a wonderful bakery (open 24hrs) and a few minutes more to the main square and streets with so many restaurants, shops and bars. It is very busy but Dream Island gave us the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the town. Highly recommend.

I arrived late and the hotel arranged my pick up. The driver Chris was fab and he became my taxi plug throughout my stay and even arranged pick up for town and port. The breakfast was nice and was delivered to my mini porch in front of my room which felt like my mini cabin. The room was really nice and clean. Plenty of space to sunbathe and the pool was clean. Dmitris at the reception was friendly and helpful. They also allowed to keep my luggage after I check out so I can go to a cruise. Overall customer service was great. The view in this hotel was really good and the location is close to main attraction in Imerovigli and close to Fira town. Nice hotel and would suit couples or solo travellers wanting a peaceful time.
