Nice and comfortable. Very close to main attractions and the pier. I would be careful about putting clothes up in the balcony to dry out because the monkeys stole our bras 😂 but everything with the hotel is great!

Big and clean room! Good breakfast, with a lot of options! The pool is nice and clean.

We had a little problem with a monkey when we arrived because we were not informed that plastic bags could trigger them (we hadn't made the check-in yet). So if you go there, please don't take a plastic bag with you, or hide it if you do. Otherwise, they will think it's food and try to take it from you. You will see a paper in the reception informing you about good behaviors regarding monkeys. The hotel is a safe place for them. They will not hurt you, be sure you close your windows and doors, and everything will be ok!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was large, clean, and the AC worked well. We also had a large balcony overlooking the pool. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was served every morning and had lots of great options. The hotel is also super close to the town where there are lots of amazing restaurants and nightlife! We walked around every night and tried lots of different excellent restaurants.

We weren't super sure how we were going to get to the hotel when we first landed, and had to take a boat in the dark to get to our hotel pier, and then drag our suitcases in a sandy path for a bit to get to the hotel. Once we got to the hotel, we had to carry our suitcases up 2 flights of stairs because there are no elevators (Railay in general apparently does not allow elevators in hotels). However, staff was super friendly and helped us carry our suitcases up. I also would have liked to have some closet space. They do have a place where you can hang a few items but no drawers or anything.

I loved it. Super comfortable, enormous bedroom with a good sized balcony with a sofa, the pool is delightful. The location is amazing because is close to the “main Railay road”, but also far enough to be a silent place. Many mini markets nearby. Also the hotel has a lot of nature, with trees, monkeys, green space. Super cozy. I highly recommend this place

The restaurant was a bit expensive, but nothing outrageous. The majority of the room views are other rooms with the pool between them, so don’t expect a great view of nature.

Perfect location in East Railay. Just a few minute walk to West Beach and it's a fun walk. So close to the pier. Peaceful and quiet. I liked watching the monkeys. The bed was very comfortable. And the staff was very kind. If you want a nice quiet and beautiful place to stay, close to the action and the pier, this is the spot. You can walk to both West Beach or Phra Nang Beach in a few minutes. I loved coming back here at night with all the pretty lights and calm atmosphere. They were planting orchids everywhere when I was there. They take pride in this place.

Waiting for coffee in the morning. Only one espresso machine and it was slow and needed maintenance often with its heavy use. Add a big coffee pot for all the daily drinkers that need their coffee first thing.

Lots of things to love about this hotel : the design of property allowed for shade or sun on the pool, pool access from our room, lovely gardens and a clear effort to reduce waste with water dispensers on each floor and insulated sealable cups provided. Yoga mats for free available with a deposit. We’ve stayed at Railay many times and this was our favorite. It’s on the east side which is opposite the more scenic popular West beach but we found it quieter with more reasonably priced restaurants and great access to the rock climbing areas.

Be very careful to lock your balcony doors and never leave good outside - the monkeys will take advantage. Seeing the monkeys was also an advantage.

The room was very spacious and the private pool was a great size. The bed was comfortable and staff were very friendly on check in and quick to resolve any issues, we had issues with our Aircon and TV not working and both were replaced within a few hours and we were given complimentary cocktails for the inconvenience. Its in a great location, great restaurants and coffee nearby and super easy to get to the dock when arriving/leaving and any day trips you take. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Railay.

it seems like the hotel and the rooms are slightly passed their prime. There was rust stains around the bath, wear and tear around the pool including warped flooring. It was nice overall just needs some maintenance. We did have monkey visitors in our room after forgetting to lock the door and they took some food and drinks, we were warned when we got there that this might happen so we take responsibility for that, however it would be good to know just how active the monkeys are around the hotel before booking. They roam the hotel a couple of times a day looking for food and take what they can and usually end up fighting and playing around and in the pools. Definitely an experience but if you don't like animals I wouldn't recommend staying here

We stayed in the villas and we like that these have a lovely veranda, large windows and a good space inside. There is a smart tv so you can log in to Netflix and such, so that made it comfortable to relax in the room. The breakfast has a good basic choice of Thai, wester, eggs, fruit and salad. It's a nice restaurant to sit in the morning and also their dinner food is great if you order. The pool is nice and generally gets sun most of the day. It is quiet and away from the busy but also a good walking distance to everything.

They've updated the villas which is great BUT it seems they've changed the mattress since our lasts visits in summer 23 and now they are rock solid and not comfortable at all :(

We had a great stay at Avatar! The hotel is actually better than what looks like in pictures. The lobby staff was great, attentive, polite, friendly, and helpful. The cleaning staff is extremely gentle too. Due to an overbooking, we got a free upgrade to the Villa which was simply amazing! The room was super spacious, clean, with all comforts. The bed was super comfy! It was amusing having the monkeys visiting twice a day 😄

The breakfast staff was a bit blunt, lacking in attentiveness and personality. They didn't do anything bad but were not matching the vibe of the rest of the team. Breakfast is a bit average, nothing amazing but sufficient and ok for just a couple of days. The swimming pool and the floating lounge chairs need a better cleaning.

We had a wonderfull stay in Avatar. Very serene and magical place. Room was very spacious with hudge bed. Loved the balcony/terrace with very comfty couch. We had great view to the pool and even limestone in the distance. I really like the hotel design. Very good value for money. Service was excellent, lovely breakfast area. Best egg station so far in Thai hotels :). Plus from me for non smoking dining area! And the staff really does not allow guest to barbecue others. Monkeys are a real adventure and fun ;). But whatch out for them they stll all food.
