The air condition after a hot walk in the summer. There are two pillows so I could select the one that fitted be best. There are luggage storage on check in and check out days. The washing machine and the dryer can be paid through an app or wit h money. The app is called AQ-connect. The cost is 500 yen per wash. 100 yen per 30 minutes drying.

There are no instructions what to do with the towels or trash on days when the room is not cleaned. I just put them outside my door. The toilet paper is too thin. Must use more paper. The room cleaners will enter your room even on days when it is not supposed to be cleaned (like putting the trash bin back or folding the toilet paper). The microwave oven in the lobby don't have a power marking (is it 500 W, 750 W or what?). The room Wi-Fi didn't work properly. It disconnected all the time. It didn't work at all if I used VPN.

It was very clean and comfortable. Exactly what I want from a cheap hotel. Perfectly fine location.

Room is very small. Not much of a negative, just be prepared.

The maid who cleaned our room. She is courteous and respectful. She offered us clean towels and toiletries even when we did not ask for it.

One of the front desk staff on our arrival day was rude. We arrived an hour early, he pointed to his watch and said come back at 3. That was one hell of a way to greet your hotel guests. After a bit of going back and fore, he reluctantly accepted our luggage for tempolary storage until we returned 2 hours later to get our rooms. The luggage was not even delivered to our room.

Lovely hotel for our short 2 night stay. Very convenient lawsons across the road and express check out was very handy. Good walking distance from some locations or trains. Possibly a con that restaurant isn't in the hotel and is in a nearby Apa however this wasn't an issue to us as we usually go out for good or to a convenience store. Really great wifi and great tv Staff were extremely helpful with storing our luggage until check in and then with shipping our luggage onwards to our next hotel. Pillows are very like any hotel we've stayed at in Japan but the bed was definitely softer.

Very small rooms. Rooms in tokyo are very small but this was really very small however it is all we really needed, just something to consider if you're staying longer or have a lot of bags. On this the bathroom is very small too, only big enough for 1 person but again didn't bother us.

This was the most comfortable bedding of any hotel during our trip. Comparing it to other hotels at the same price point, APA had the best bedding and pillows by far. Although bedding is a personal preference, for those who aren't used to a very firm mattress, staying in Japan can take some getting used to. If you are arriving via Tokyo station, I'd recommend walking with your bags to this hotel. The walk is flat and despite google maps recommending trains, it really isn't worth dragging bags up and down potentially hundreds of stairs to save a few minutes walking. There's so much within a genuine walking distance from the hotel. Restaurants and shops line the surrounding streets and Ginza shopping precinct is about 15 minutes walk away. It's also only a short walk to the station to catch the train to Disneyland and you will be happy to have somewhere comfortable to rest after a long day on your feet.

Walls are thin and if someone in a neighbouring room can't control their legs in the middle of the night you'll soon know about it. The rooms are tiny, but so are all other hotels for the same room type and price point.

It is a nice little room with a large bed for one person and a large tv. There is a desk and fridge and a small bathroom. Its quiet. Right next on the bed there are USB ports to charge your phone without an adapter. On the ground floor there is a machine for ice cubes - right over the street there is a convenience store. The neighbourhood is quiet and has almost no traffic. The hotel isn't far off Ginza shopping district, not far from Tokyo station and the Imperial palace (not much to see there), not far from several subway lines that bring you directly to districts like Shinjuku and Shibuya for a nice evening out. The hotel is nothing fancy, but not lacking anything and you get good value for your money.

I didn't miss anything that I would have expected from what was advertised.

- Laundry access was helpful, though the dryer didn't work very well - Blackout curtains, A/C, water temperature (getting to hot) was great - Close to restaurants and subway stations without being in the middle and being very loud - Front desk spoke English and helpful, cleaning ladies that came by were really nice

- Rooms are small, but we knew that from the pictures. It was perfect for us because we only needed a space to sleep and keep our luggage - Water boiler in our room didn't work but wasn't a necessary part of the stay - Still a 15-20 minute walk from Ginza and Tokyo Station, so can be a bit far (especially when it rained one day) but is still decently central, and I would probably stay here again in the future

Room was in good shape, everything clean. Staff respected our wishes for a room on upper floors. We stayed for 6 nights and would recommend going for a bigger room. Area is rather quiet and allows for decent sleep. Easy checkout is great. So is the luggage storage service - many thanks to the patient staff!

Sound proofing could be improved. We heard people using the elevator too frequently. Elevator situation is not perfect if you have a room on the upper floors. Bathroom sliding door is not perfect for privacy. The room could need a safe.

The hotel is situated nicely with direct trains from and to Haneda airport and in walking distance of 2 underground stations. It is also very close to the Ginza shopping district. Our experience with APA hotels in Japan has been positive in general, this stay was no different and we found everything as expected (everything we needed and everything in a clean and upkept state).

Rooms are being made up every single night, which is fine. However, we had been saving some of the coffee provided for each room on a daily basis. Unfortunately housekeeping removed this. They also took the bath mat without leaving a replacement causing a slight disgruntlement on my part. There is 1 coin washer and 1 coin dryer on the ground floor. The dryer is awful, so expect to have laundry still very moist after an hour in the machine (again, this was expected, so we had planned for it).
