Amazing hotel! The beach is literally across the street, you can walk to it easily. They really thought of all the little details! Plates, silverware, microwave, very nice toiletries, delicious free breakfast from a local bakery.. I could go on forever! We will definitely be back 😁

Locations steps away from the beach, Breakfast was complimentary fresh local bakery with excellent coffee, yogurt, snack and more. Staff was friendly, helpful and the place is spotless. Parking is also complimentary. We are retired service vets and were treated with much respect and will definitely be going back... Local seafood restaurants nearby and a sunset pier location for meals less than a mile up the beach. Quiet and friendly town.

Staff were very friendly, best location and we were upgraded to a larger room upon request! The kids received a stuffed shark at check-in which is such a nice touch. A huge applaus to the housekeeping and grounds staff who keep this place looking clean and orderly inside and out. On top of that they offer a nice greeting and always respond kindly to little questions. We loved being so close to the beach and hopping in the pool when we needed some down time.

The tap water had an odd smell. I wouldn't even use it for making coffee. Luckily they provide a water bottle refilling station.

Clean, well-maintained, very friendly staff, and great amenities. The beach is literally right across the street, and the staff were happy to loan us equipment so we could enjoy the beach and look for shark teeth. They loaned us a beach umbrella and a sifter.

We were on the second floor, and my mom and I have difficulty with stairs due to medical issues. The staff at the front desk tried to find us an available room on the first floor, but they were booked and nothing was available. I appreciated him checking.

All staff members were amazing. From the first welcome to checking out. They were super friendly and very helpful. The location is great. On our first morning, after having breakfast, we took a quick detour to the beach instead of walking back directly to our room, because it is literally a 1-minute walk. We immediately found a bunch of shark teeth on the shore line, which made our day. They also let you take sharktooth sifters and other beach equipment, free of charge, for as long as you stay there.

If I'm being picky, the breakfast is prepared by a local baker, which is very nice, but it is mostly sweet treats like cakes and donuts. We wanted something savory and ended up eating the bagel with cream cheese every morning, because there wasn't a lot of choice in that regard (e.g. ham, cheese, bacon, eggs, etc.). The interior is great and clean, but maybe a little dated.

AC died first night and had to move all our belongings and go to a room with 2 double beds (this was a romantic getaway), upstairs after we were all ready to NOT do that. Next morning we moved all our stuff back to original room after they fixed AC. They could not reimburse us due to we booked through you, not them. So apparently YOU are the ones who sold me and guaranteed the room and we would get what we paid for. If there is anything you can do about that, thanks. IF not, hmmm.

Location was perfect. A few steps away from the beach. All boutiques, eatery is down the road, everything was easy and accessible. They had beach towels, umbrellas and chairs for us to use at the beach; which when your flying it’s super convenient. The room was super clean and awesome size, nice closet space, with kitchenette. Nice private patio on mine bc I was facing the back of the building otherwise if your facing other ways yours won’t be so private. Great place . Can’t speak in breakfast I’m gf we didn’t eat there

I had to do a last minute zoom conference call, and their computer is right at the entrance door where everyone could hear and see what we’re doing. In addition, there’s no camera on their PC. Had to end up using my phone, which if you’ve ever done a zoom call on your phone you know how prohibited it is.

Very close to the beach, the Pier, and The Crow's Nest, all things we enjoy. The continental breakfast was AMAZING for a continental breakfast!

Asked for room facing the gulf as we were celebrating our anniversary. Rec'd response that our request would be accommodated, only to find when we got there that the reply did not come from the Inn but from Booking.com and wasn't honored. We ended up in the opposite end of the Inn facing the street. The person on duty did come back to us and move us to a room closer to the beach, while not facing it. At least it was an improvement and he tried. He explained that if we have a special request we should book with the hotel directly not Booking.com. Makes me leery of using Booking.com now.

This place i a magic. From the moment we arrived, Matt at the reception just ‘embraced’ us with his care. Check in took 2 minutes. Our room was ready. Hotel has offered everything you need: bottled water, snacks , parking, beach chairs and umbrella. And most important -hospitality. Staff makes a place. Breakfast ( included) just perfect. We even got a big towel as A GIFT. We wanted to buy but Linda had offered us a perfect towel as as gift. Thank you very much. We used it

Some dust in the room:on shutters , in bathroom drawings. But it was really minor. Maybe it just me as I like everything to be spotless

This is a wonderful, small boutique hotel very close to Venice Beach. The staff were exceptional. There is a good, cold breakfast available every morning (which was fine for us). We appreciated that there were beach chairs available and even baskets to sift the sand for shark teeth! It is also walking distance to the quaint downtown area with lots of local shops and restaurants.
