The property is close to two metro stations - one right below, and another one two blocks away. These two metro lines effectively connects you with all of Osaka, including Umeda, Namba, and Shinsaibashi. The hotel is cozy, staff very welcoming.

The room size may be a bit small, yet still acceptable comparing against typical Japanese hotel room size. The hotel room can use a bit dusting as dust is visible in some places, yet none of a big deal.

Location is spot on; pretty much right between metro exits 2 and 10 (Higobashi) , within 10 mins walk from a train station, and a 24/7 convenience store. The staff is polite and helpful. Well air-conditioned lobby! The room is clean and equipped with TV and Aircon. Ensuite is clean with a smart toilet (wow!) Breakfast is good but next time I'd probably get without breakfast included as 8 days eating the same breakfast got boring. There's microwave downstairs so you're able to eat your own food if needs be. What's great is you're less than 5 mins walk from a super cheap AND DELICIOUS mini ramen restaurant called Kamitora; really decent food there.

There's nothing bad, but word of caution: we booked a "compact" room and it WAS compact!!! Hard to fit suitcases in the room, but I hear it's standard in Japan to have small rooms.

The location is great, close to public transports and local restaurants/shops. The breakfast was good with some options from sweet to salty. The staff was always very helpful and attentive. The room was also very clean.

The room itself was not very big. I was in a room with two beds which occupied most of the room itself (not because the beds were extra large but because of the size of the room). Since I was sharing it with my partner, between beds and luggage, we were left with little space to move.

Breakfast was average. I appreciated that it was a blend of western and eastern cuisine, but the choices were limited. The room was alright, there was whatever you may need for a short stay.

The room was on the small side. The toilet space was the same. It wasn’t a significant problem but keep in mind that the usable area is small.

Great hotel. Great area right near a the train station and a 7/11 for those late night snack runs! Appreciated the irons/ ironing boards they leave out for guests to grab if they need. Nice big window to let natural light in.

Enough space for 1 person but would be quite small for 2 people.

If you were to stay in a similar hotel in a major European city, the price would be at least two to three times higher than this one. That's how much it's worth. If you were in London or Paris, the same class of hotel might have slightly larger rooms, but the price would be five times higher.

Rooms were a little bit too small for two international travellers and their luggage. There are no wardrobes. Air-conditioning was too hot and there was no temperature control so it was a little too stuffy to sleep well one night. It would be good to have more than one pillow. But overall the stay was good so these are very minor issues.

Room was very compact (no extra space for much) and noise from upstairs could be heard when people spoke loudly and laughed. Otherwise superb experience, good breakfast, kind staff, clean room and great location.

We were disappointed with the level of cleaning in our room, bathroom and floors. Air conditioning not working and felt dirty dusty needed a good overhaul. We were offered a stand alone ac but this was also dusty and created a dusty atmosphere.

Good spot, good price, convenience store on the first floor. Really close to the subway. Not sure what else I need in a hotel.

I didn't like that the rate was cheaper online than in person. I like being able to go to the desk an reserve an extra night from time to time, and having to pay extra for that when they already have my information and did check in work feels pretty dumb.
