Location: The location of the property is quite central with restaurants and bars, and very close to the beach. The grocery store is 3-4 mins walking and pharmacy is 8 mins walking. Property/Facilities: The property is nice and well kept. Both the backyard with the pool area, the lobby and the restaurant/bar are nice and clean. The rooms look quite new and were better than expected. It is provided with a small refrigerator, a small storage space, regular towels and additional beach towels, a kettle, drinking water, shampoo, body wash, and nice pressure in the shower. The air condition (AC) was also good with a fan that did not make much noise. Breakfast: The breakfast was better than expected, with eggs, rice or pancake, fruit and coffee/tea included. The staff: The staff were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcomed. They can also help with diving/snorkeling, scooter rental, transportation to Gili islands and more. Noise: Some of the neighbours have roosters (grown, male chickens) that make some noise in the morning and during the day, but inside the room we didn’t notice them. Other than that the property is mainly quiet even though it is centrally located. Summary: Better than expected! We had a great stay at Kura Kura Divers Lodge and our overall experience was very good. Based on the price we believe this is a place you really get quality and good value for the money. :-D

Only minor things: - The AC was good, but there was no regular fan in the ceiling. - No hair dryer in the bathroom - There was a kettle and cups in the room, but no tea or coffee. - No description of how the safe worked.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kura Kura Divers Lodge and stayed 1 night longer than initially planned. Because of that we had to change the room. The first one, at the grand floor just next to the swimming pool was better because of the view from the terrace and feeling because of that. The second one was on the first floor in the corner. The view there wasn't that great which made it not that pleasant to spend evenings there. The stuff is really nice and helpful there. Breakfast is really good and delicious as for indonesian's standards. Location is great, close to the restaurants so you can easily go out in the evenings.

We enjoyed our stay here! It's in a great location - walking distance to beach, restaurants, shops, stores, etc. Really strong/good AC and WiFi. Hot water in the shower which is nice! The room is spacious and has lots of outlets, lights, and room. I liked how they have a drying rack for our wet clothes. The staff were tremendously helpful and SO kind! They offered to pick us up for free and drop us off somewhere which I REALLY appreciated!! The staff were all just so accommodating, helpful, friendly, and just amazing! They all went above and beyond! And even waited for me when they picked me up because I was late and there was a miscommunication on the pick up time (totally my fault). They have free water, a pool - which looked really nice (I didn't get in) but a lot of people were relaxing/in the pool. It's not too crowded though. The rooms are a bit further from the main street so I didn't hear any street noise which was nice. I ended up at a different dive shop (before I stayed here and knew about this) or else I would have went diving here! They were super nice and looked professional. I highly recommend doing activities/diving with them - I believe you get discounts on their activities if you stay there. The prices looked the best from what I saw and they offer a lot of different activities which is nice. I only stayed here for 1 night but I did enjoy it and wish we had another night to stay (but we had to go to our next location)! I was previously staying near Lipah beach and felt that was too far from everything. I liked this location and being able to walk everywhere. The place was clean too - no stains on sheets (which is a common thing in Bali lol), towels clean, pool towels provided, water provided, etc. I'll definitely come back here next time! The price is perfect too which I appreciated. Definitely exceeded my expectations with the price!

The swimming pool is great, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. They offer swimming pool towels as well which is great! We loved our stay here and would definitely like to come back. The only issue is that the bathroom doesn't have a full door or curtain between the shower and the rest of the bathroom area, so the floor can get very wet. The breakfast is simple but very nice!

Having a curtain or something between the shower and the rest of the bathroom would help a lot. Also, on our first night, we only had swimming pool towels, but the next day they provided us with shower towels.

Breakfast is ordinary.Fried eggs need to be cooked more.Bread quite stale.No umbrellas around the pool.Apart from that a fabous place.

The facility as well as the individual rooms are very large, spacious, and practically furnished. Some might find it a bit too sparse, but it didn't bother us. The view of the surrounding palm trees was very beautiful. Ahmed is (still) not completely overrun by tourists, so the regular crowing of roosters from the neighborhood felt authentic rather than annoying :) The staff is very friendly, there's a water refill which we really appreciate, and the breakfast is also very generous. We extended our stay by one night and also booked the introductory diving on site and definitely recommend it. Ruben, our diving instructor, was awesome. He conveyed a sense of safety, explained everything superbly, and made the whole experience both beautiful and fun.

First of all, we come to Amed frequently and within the price range it was the cleanest and most well maintained place we stayed until now. Bravo to the property owner and all staff involved. The restaurant has a pool table, darts and table games that are in great condition too. The pool is considerably big for a property like this. Will come back again...

The breakfast needs a little improvement. Amed hotels in general are lacking of satisfying quality breakfast. You may expect a few days old dry bread, over done or under done eggs. Very easy to solve these things by toasting the old bread and paying more attention on the egg making. Very simple really.

Everything was perfect!! The staf was frendly and always there if you need something. Everyday they ask if you need room cleaning, how are you, how was your day or if you need something. Also, we really liked that we could rent a scooter from them and go on scuba diving with them, so there was no need to look at other places because we had everything there. We hope that we will see each other again! 🥰

Fabulous location Incredible diving company with diverse site and highly skilled instructors. In a diving Mecca where there are so many schools so choose from, the dive company is best in class with excellent rates and equipment. A massive shoutout to the legendary staff, who are friendly, smiley and ho way above and beyond to give great service and advice on all things local. Special thanks to Yuki, Odo and Juni or making my stay simply the best. This place is a must stay and unbelievably reasonable for the quality and class it provides. I’ll be back! X
