The staff friendliness and hospitality was amazing, we felt very very taken care of. Communication was impeccable, the room was very comfortable, and the price was very good. We really liked how natural and peaceful it felt at Peacock Villa -- there were actual peacocks, monkeys, frogs, and fireflies to watch. Highly recommended! A hidden jewel!

I suppose the location was a little bit from the beach, but that also meant it was off the main busy road which was good. The breakfast was outstanding, but I didn't realize it was in USD and so it was a bit more expensive than I thought.

I had an amazing stay for two weeks. The location has nearby access to the beach, restaurants and shops. Also another nice beach Welligama is within reach of 10 minutes by tuktuk. For me that was nice because of my surfing activities. Everyday an awesome breakfast was served including my diet wishes. Tips for sight seeing were given and even whole excursions arranged. The appointed cab driver took me all over key locations within Sri Lanka for a fair fee and great service. Much love and respect for Charindo who is the main host of the family run company. Last but not least the service and ambiance is relaxed and respectful. No pushing to do something, but just really thoughtful. It feels like you are in the middle of nature, seekng monkeys, birds and peacocks pass by. This is by far the best hotel in Mirrissa given the attention, quality and price. It would be a pleasure to come back! 🙏

Charindu and the staff are amazing. I have had a great stay and from 6 accommodations in Sri Lanka, this is my favourite (also compared to hotels). I had some special request due to some health issues and they arranged everything so that it would suite my needs. Everyone is very friendly and helpful! Super clean villa! You can really see that it matters to them more than just to make money. Loved the fact that is close to nature and away from the loud music or the road. Lots of birds and animals 🥰 I would definitely stay here and would not trade it for another place

Our stay at this property was absolutely amazing! The rooms were beautiful, spotlessly clean, and everything was impeccably maintained. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious, and the highlight of our stay was Simba, the adorable and loving Labrador who lives on the property. He truly added a special touch to our experience. Out of all the places we visited during our trip across Sri Lanka, this was by far our favorite. If we ever return to Sri Lanka, we would gladly stay here again. We wholeheartedly recommend this place—it’s a gem!

There was nothing to complain about

The host was very helpful and accommodating with any questions we had. Set in a quiet area, but a short walk to the beach/Main Street. Also lots of good restaurants close by. The large room was perfect for us as 2 friends with a double bed and separate single. All very clean with everything we needed. We hadn’t included breakfast in our booking but were able to be accommodated for a lovely breakfast by the pool - one of our favourites of our trip. You choose from 3 options and it was great value. On arrival we were able to check in early as our room was ready, and on departure we stored our bags after check out, and used the shower room by the pool after a day at the beach before departure.

The room is suitable for my family 2 adults + 1 kid, large enough and very clear! We didn't find mosquito during 4 nights of stay and slept well. We can ask for cleaning room every day and the service was perfectly on time. We like very much the local type breakfast option while the english one was nice as well. The cost for breakfast was reasonable (~5 USD/person.day). The pool is not large but very clean. We enjoyed an atmosphere with monkey and peacockin the garden. We appreciate much what the host Charindu arranged for our transfer to Colombo airport with a correct Toyota Van and reasonable price (much better car and cheaper than what I did with uber.com from Colombo downtown to Peacock Villa).

The pathway to the nearest beaches (~500m) was a bit muddy along with a sewage ditch. We did tuctuc after sundwon for return.

Everything! First of all, Charindu and the staff are so welcoming, they actually understand what you need before you ask for anything. Also, Charindu provides good and reliable recommendations. Simba the dog is adorable and our child loved him. Breakfast is amazing. The room is spacious, wide, clean with a great porch to the river, with frogs and fireflies. The new pool is great and we used it a lot. It is 10 minutes walk to the beach and main road. A beautiful boutique hotel with attention to every detail, amazing hospitality. We already want to come back.

Me and my friend stayed at Peacock Villa for 4 nights and it was our best stay in Sri Lanka so far. Both the room and the bathroom were very spacious and clean and the beds were so comfortable. It was really nice to be away from the beach front and away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. Charindu was an amazing host and he went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Even before we arrived, he was advising us on our upcoming stay and answering any questions we had. He gave us some great restaurant recommendations so much so, we ate twice in the same place, No 1 Dewmini Roti which was delicious. Nothing was too much for him and he helped us organise a safari trip for which we had to rearrange due to rain but he already had another recommendation ready for us and our transfer to Ella without any hassle. Breakfast was great as well, starting with a plate of fresh local fruit followed by 3 options for which you could choose from which was very very good. All the staff at Peacock Villa are super friendly and always smiling and saying hello and they have honestly thought of everything from torches in the room should you wish to go out at night to umbrellas for the occasional downpour. All the communal areas are so clean and well kept and even Simba the dog was very welcoming. Definitely would stay here again without a doubt and will recommend to anyone travelling to Mirissa. This accommodation was our favorite during our entire trip to Sri Lanka. Everything was just right here. The host is very friendly and accommodating and also the "co-host", the friendly dog Simba is great. At breakfast we could choose between three daily options and it always tasted excellent. The rooms are clean, comfortable and very lovingly decorated. In general, the accommodation is perfectly thought out down to the last detail, with beach towels, umbrella etc, very well-kept garden and pool and in a quiet but central location.

So so so highly recommended!!! Charindu and the other staff were so kind and welcoming. They made our stay so comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. This was our favourite accommodation in all of Sri Lanka. The room was so beautiful and spacious with a lovely view of nature from the balcony. The breakfasts were just incredible and so plentiful. We also loved Simba the pet dog. We liked the quiet location a little away from the noisy touristy area. These are truly the most caring and honest people you will ever meet. Stay here you will be so glad you did!!!
