Daniela runs a REALLY LOVELY little 3 roomed "hotel". She is passionate about La Spezia & the Cinque Terre. She always has suggestions & hints, like if the weather is not 100%, maybe try this or that. Her property is absolutely spotless & she comes & straightens the room up every day. Although you have a hotel room there is a kitchen area just the other side of your internal door where you can help yourself to coffee, oven, microwave, kettle & lovely crockery, glassware & extras. Can highly recommend Daniela's property! You DO need a car though as this property is located on a hill overlooking the harbour & city of La Spezia.

Amazing property with nice views from the top loft apartment. Staff was really easy to communicate to. On street parking (which at times can be hard to find) and the property is an easy car ride from the centre and the railway station.

The description of the breakfast is a little misleading as it says that the breakfast is provided. What is actually provided is a little basket with pre-packed croissant, some dry crackers and little packs of jams. There is a coffee machine in the common room downstairs though. It's not enough to sustain a person for half a day as it is just snacks.

Daniela was the most incredible host! The rooms and shared facilities (kitchen and common area) were so lovely and clean and the view was amazing! The breakfast was also so perfect for us as we were on the go most days so was good to grab it and go and there was so much of it for us! Thank you Daniela will definitely be returning if we ever come back!

It is a bit of a walk uphill due to the public transport not being amazing but we are relatively fit so was no problem at all for us but just to keep in mind.

Fantastic views. Exceptionally friendly attentive owner. Exceptionally clean. Large bathroom and nice sunny terrace for breakfast. Lactose free milk ( excellent!) big well equipped shared kitchen. Very helpful owner with suggestions for where to visit

Private bathroom excellent but is not en suite. Ideally would have soft chairs in the shared living area. Best if you have a car as up a steep hill from town. Bed squeaky 🙂

The host was amazing. Very helpful and very friendly. Made sure we had everything we needed, gave us all the information on public transport for getting to Cinque Terre and Porto Venere and other very handy tips. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Views were incredible

A little far from the centre of La Spezia. Only an issue as it is nearly impossible to get a taxi home at night on a busy night in peak season. We looked and tried for over an hour with no luck. No supermarkets near by and only one restaurant in the area which was booked out when we tried to go

The room was clean and large; the bathroom same. The view was amazing. The host, Daniela, was very friendly and helpful.

On the booking site, the locale seemed more proximate to the rail station. Public transportation was not practically close, given the steep hill that had to be negotiated. So, without transportation, access to amenities was difficult. Our expectation from previous (North American) bed and breakfasts was that the breakfast would be cooked on-site. Not a major flaw, but rather a misperception of what would be included.

We had a wonderful time at La Spezia. Daniela was very friendly and co-operative, gave us all the relevant information. One can enjoy a beautiful view from the window/ terrace with an cup of Coffee/ tea (Coffee was excelent). The apartment is well maintained and clean. Although the road is narrow but one can find a parking spot nearby easily.👍

There is no supermarket nearby. You have to walk downhill or drive.,🙄

We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and were met by Daniela. She provided us with the keys and information on the area. She was lovely. The hotel is located on a small road a bit away from the main town. There was a lovely view of La Spezia from the balcony. There was a communal kitchen as well as a fridge in the room. The room was extremely clean and comfortable.

Breakfast consisted of pre-packaged items in a basket. Also, the mattress probably needs to be replaced as it made noise every time you moved/turned.

Great location with a full view of Spezia. If the weather allows you can enjoy it from the terrace in front of the appartments. Free parking can be found along the street and the surroundings are tranquil. The owners are extremly nice and service oriented and can give you a lot of useful information about places to visit, how to best move around etc.

The apartment is excellent, very spacious, clean and a great view over the entire harbour. I enjoyed watching the cruise ships, which included the largest in the world landing during our stay. Danielle is a really welcoming host, informed us all about the local area and how to get about. The other staff were also friendly, organising us a taxi on our last day.

The only down vote It is perhaps a place that would suit bringing your own car or renting one. It is walkable to La Spezia Town Centre, about 30 or 40 minutes but on the way back there is a decent hill to walk back up to the apartment. So you need to be reasonably fit.
