Breakfast was excellent! Homemade yoghurt,jams etc. lovely lady prepared everything, everyone sat on a large breakfast table. Shared kitchen area was delightful even though , when we stayed, all guests didn’t speak English , they were French just passing through the area or doing business in Angers. Perfect secure parking.

Patrick was a very welcoming and very attentive! He spent a lot of time explaining everything, a bit too intense and never too far away watching. We like to be left to sort things out and chill out by ourselves . We were in an oasis and surrounded on three sides by high apartment blocks.

Everything really. The host, Patrick, is extremely helpful, he took the time on arrival to explain about Angers, where to go as well as the tram service (a tram stop is 5 minutes walk from the B&B). To be honest the tram is the best way to travel to the centre as one has to pay for most of the parking. I would recommend to buy the tram ticket at the machine where one journey costs 1.60€; if you want to use contactless on the tram one journey will be charged at 2€. Buying 10 journeys is cheaper and recommended if you intend to go to town often. The place is very restful. We stayed in La Longère room which is on the ground floor. Very well equipped with a fridge, kettle and some kitchen utensils. One is near the centre of town but in the middle of a calm oasis. The Breakfast is continental but on request you can have a fried egg (free range from their own hens).

Nothing.

The staff were very welcoming and were on hand for anything that was asked. Everything was homemade to an exceptional standard. The room had everything you could possibly want the shower was lovely and hot. Although we rode into town on the tram we did not have to worry about parking and having a drink was not a worry. Cannot rate this property high enough.

There is nothing I could say about disliking anything

La Petite Charnasserie is a sympathetic yet modern restoration of the original period buildings. It is set in its own large mature gardens, a lovely setting for the accommodation with excellent facilities. We had a very friendly welcome with comprehensive introduction to the property, access and facilities available to us. Lovely breakfast was provided in the kitchen conservatory. Our host was most helpful throughout our 2 day stay giving us with local maps, advice and information about Angers. The Express Tram stops nearby with a 10 min ride into right into the town centre. Angers Chateau (contains Revelation Tapestries) and historic town trail were recommended and proved fascinating. Resumed our motorcycle tour refreshed!

Location was cknvenient for trams into town Welcome by proprieter was very pleasant who recimmended local restaurants etc Room was spacious, comfortable and well equiped

We had not realised we could not check in until 17.30 which was inconvenient as we arrived at 1500 and had to wait

This accommodation was perfect for a 2 night stay in order to have a break on our La Velo Francette Cycle Ride, explore Angers and have some relaxation! The accommodation is like an "oasis" in that it is located near to Angers but has a rural feel about it although it is within a built up area! The accommodation is within the private home and grounds of the owner Hosts and their family who are most welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Our sleeping accommodation was spacious, well equipped and opened directly on to the garden and swimming pool area. Breakfast was plentiful, good quality and was beautifully presented by Patrick who cooked "eggs to order!"

Nothing - our stay at La Petite Charnasserie was everything we hoped it would be!

Good location,close to amenities. We had a good overnight stay.The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed Inc. Air conditioning. Patrick was an excellent host and provided a very nice continental breakfast with lovely fresh free range eggs.

Nothing to dislike.

I was in town for a conference that was held nearby, so the location was spot on. The host was very nice, always attentive and very helpful with information about the neighbourhood and Angers in general. The room was one of the best equipped rooms I've stayed in.

Four friends on bikes stayed at this oasis of calm, rurality in the middle of the University Campus! What a wonderful place!!! What an unexpected location and setting. We loved it and can highly recommend every aspect. Patrick was an incredible and generous host.

It's such a perfect little oasis with access to a nearby tram that makes accessing the town very easy. Patrick, our host is an absolute joy, so very welcoming. If we return to Angers we would stay here again. 😊
