The cleanness of the room. The soft matrasses. The comfortable chairs on the balcony. The food and drinks are fine. The kindness of all personal.

The smell of sigarets on the balcony. The loudness of the elevator. Room is to little to stay for a long period. Terrible coffee.

The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, professional and polite. The food buffets are varied enough that we didn’t grow tired of the menu after a week. The pool area is relaxing, and though it can be crowded, it doesn’t feel crowded, as people are mostly lounging and relaxing (the grounds aren’t very expansive). Our room had plenty of space and it was wonderful to open the terrace door to get some fresh air right off the ocean.

The lifeguards, for whatever reason, all seem to have their personal cell phones while on duty… and they use them constantly! I’m not sure why this is allowed, but anytime you have kids playing in a pool, the lifeguards’ attention should be on people swimming. Period. Hopefully this is not a fatality waiting to happen, and if the hotel safety policy (if there is one) is OK with this, it is a serious flaw.

I only stayed one night. Dinner and breakfast was served in the large dining area and had a wide variety of options, appealing and delicious. -- The staff went above and beyond to help with my last minute reservation. I had to wait for a short time and they provided me with temporary wi-fi access while I waited to check in. -- The location is beautiful, the pool and ocean are in competition for your attention. There is a boardwalk behind the property that invites strolling early in the morning or into the evening, offering views of the sky worth capturing in photos.

Food close to the pool was limited but that could have been because it was almost closing time when I went to grab a bite and dinner would start shortly.

Great pools. Ocean views. Boardwalk to walk near the ocean (no sandy beach). Close, free parking available across the road or at the hotel for a fee. Large rooms with comfortable bed. Great variety at buffet and nice outside terrace.

No self-serve laundry available. No computers available on site. No airport shuttle (there is a shuttle for Funchal). Very few activities poolside and no nightlife.

The a la carte restaurant was fully booked for our stay. we should have been advised to book this restaurant prior to arrival and check in.

This hotel was fantasthic !!!! I travelled alone from Hungary, but I have never been in a so beautiful place...We had all inclusive, and the foods were 100% super !!!! every people were so kind and helpful (at the reception, in the restaurant, bar, everywhere!!!) Thank you very much, this was I think my best hotel experience in my life!!!! :) The area is quiet and beautiful, it is easy to get to Funchal or to Sao Lourencu and Christo Rei. I absolute recommend this hotel !!!!

Temperature of the pool could be warmer

Excellent hotel stayed in 2017 and the updated rooms are a great improvement. Food was excellent, everything tasted great, loved all the fish especially. Will be back next year and will bring th rest of the family

People putting their pool towels on sun beds and not using them all day suggest these should be removed after a couple of hours no show Load music round the pool but we did manage to find a quiet spot on the decking Pool bar shutting at 6pm we liked to sit out until 7pm or go out for a walk then sit out and have a late dinner but couldn’t get a drink in the pool bar

Lovely clean resort hotel with nice swimming pools and fantastic choice of food to suit anyone including vegan options and even some gluten free bread. Staff were all friendly, hardworking and helpful. The hotel provided free coach travel to Funchal every day - three morning departures and three afternoon returns. I liked the driver who seemed to work every day - friendly and a good driver. Being all inclusive there was food and drinks available whenever needed. Nice location next to a promenade that went alongside the Atlantic Ocean with stunning views.

Nothing really. The bedroom cleaning was adequate but some dusty bits under the beds but this didn't bother us. The hotel is a bit noisy after about 0600 with cleaners trollies being trundled up and down the corridors. Being a light sleeper it occasionally woke me up.
