I am gluten free and pre-diabetic. Thankfully, the breakfast bar had packages of oatmeal to be microwaved. Fresh fruit and fresh juice were also included. I have to eat right away when I get up and have a breakfast that has enough carbs to get me going and keep me going. If I don't do this, I can feel very weak & I'm in danger of falling. I was very thankful for the breakfast offerings. I have to have a shower with bars since I have fallen & don't want to fall any more. Thankfully they had a handicapped room that had bars for a bit more money. There was a sink, mirror and counter outside the bathroom which was great. One of us could shower, and the other use the sink without bothering the shower person. The breakfast room included several tables. We were able to meet some friends and chat for awhile.

The only thing we didn't like was the coffee. The coffee advertised as strong was so weak it was almost dishwater! Since we only like coffee at breakfast this was not a big deal. Still, really strong coffee would have been a welcome choice.

I like the cleanliness of the rooms and it smells so good, too. It's quiet and very decent and cozy as well. I think we can compare this hotel to other 4-5star hotels for a very affordable price. We will surely come back here even if it's 22 miles away from Des Moines.

I don't think I have dislikes about the place. Though the breakfast selections are not a lot, but I think it's okay especially for me I am not a breakfast person. The cleanliness is everything for me and that's all that matters.

The. room was very clean. All of the employees were helpful and pleasant. We were greeted every time we left or returned. The patio and views were beautiful. Great price!

Breakfast only had cereal (sometimes bananas) packaged cookies and juice/coffee. Would have been nice to have other options of fruit available.

the breakfast was mostly prepackaged donuts and instant oatmeal packets. there was a gallon of milk in a mini fridge and 2 choices of cereal. the pillows on the beds were very flat and lumpy.

This place was extremely clean! It’s in a very good location and the price, for the quality of the hotel, was awesome! The bed was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and fun to talk to. I recommend this place, even if it’s out of your way by a few miles or so, you’ll see it’s worth the extra miles. This hotel and staff is second to none.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean.

The pillows were too flat, and the towels thin and worn. But when I mentioned that, they were delighted to show me a huge stack of fluffy new pillows and bedding in their storage area to be put on at Christmas.

Quiet, clean, very comfortable and modern place. Clean bathroom, and big rooms. Consistently high speed Internet - 40Mbps(checked on speed test) & Other thing, Sit down on the back patio/porch from the hotel lobby. The view during sunset is amazing. 20mins from Des Moines

Excellent breakfast. Great setting looking over the golf course. Clean rooms. I would stay here again!

The office chair in my room needs adjustment; I almost fell backwards in it because it did not have much tension on the backrest. I few light bulbs needed replacement. Otherwise everything was great.

have to travel 15-20 minutes for food options. staff was a little unprofessional. some of the breakfast food was EXPIRED. (most of the packages items were at least.)

Breakfast was cereal and some pastries. Was ok. Nothing fancy. Fresh fruit and yogurt would have been nice choices.

Room only had one chair and there was 2 of us. My sis went to the large common room (nice but no privacy) to get another one. Room should have 2 chairs.
