The room was spacious, and the staff was very friendly, especially Mr. Robert Plesa. The food at the Miorita Restaurant was decent, offering authentic dishes. The pool, both indoor and outdoor, was incredible. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Additionally, the hotel's location was convenient, providing easy access to nearby attractions. The cleanliness and overall ambiance exceeded my expectations, making the stay truly enjoyable. The attention to detail in the services provided, such as the well-maintained spa and prompt room service, added to the overall positive experience. I look forward to returning and would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort and excellent service.

Everything. We've stayed at this hotel twice before and we highly recommend it. It has the kind of elegance not seen since the beginning of the 20th century. At the same time it has all the modern conveniences. The rooms are huge and so are the bathrooms. Many of the rooms have their own sauna. The views are unbeatable, the breakfast is excellent and I could go on and on. They also have a big playroom for kids. A special mention for the amazing staff who go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I mention in particular Claudia and Robert with whom I interacted the most.

The staff must , and I say it again, MUST rise at the hotel standards. Do something about the attitude and the room service and forget about the carpet in the rooms. I liked the breakfast and all fods served, also the pools were clean and kid-friendly. The room was nice and spacious with a comfortable bed. The staff was pleasant and professional. The children's playgrond was pretty and safe.

The room's carpet/rug/moqquette should've been replaced with a fresh one as it was pretty stained and with obvious signs of usage. The couch was as well too worn-out and the windows were too dirty like someone popped a champagne in the balcony and splashed them. The bathroom could've had updated plumbing especially at the sink. I disliked that there was no mosquito net frames at the balcony so the door couldn't stay open as there were wasps entering the room.

Every year, my husband, my son, and I look forward to spending Christmas Eve at Aurelius Imparatul Romanilor. This place has become a cherished tradition for us, thanks to its many exceptional features. The rooms are impressively spacious, providing a sense of comfort and luxury. The SPA area is truly outstanding – last year, they renovated it to include a Himalayan salt wall sauna and a steam sauna. The facilities also feature both indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, a warm water pool, and a cold water pool, all of which make for a wonderfully relaxing experience. Breakfast is another highlight, offering a rich and diverse selection that satisfies every palate. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, always adding to the welcoming atmosphere. What stands out is their commitment to continuous improvement. Each year, they upgrade something – this year, it was the carpet; last year, the SPA received its makeover. I’m already counting down the days until our next visit!

The facilities, especially when travelling with children, are amazing. The huge indoor playground that we were allowed to use till late in the evening, the wonderfull pools and the large carpeted areas in the hotel lobby, as well as the huge rooms made it a very relaxing stay for kids and for us parents. We even prolonged our stay with 2 days, because we didn't feel like going anywhere else after this great exeperience at Aurelius. The smallest room is 60 m2, our was on booking 80 m2 but we received a free upgrade for a 100 m2 room, so lots of space for our little one to tun around. All These for 110 Euros per night in extra season with spa , parking and breakfast inkl. makes it the best value for money i've ever seen. There is also no possibility for the kids to run infront of the car, as the street is separates from the Hotel by a little lake. The restaurants are also very child friendly. Even without kids, I would still come to this hotel, because with these large spaces, kids dont really get to disturb anyone. The views and the spa are spectacular Super friendly staff :-)

The music in the breakfast area was a very unfortunate choice (some electro music from the early 2000) and way to loud. We asked politely if it would be possible to lower the volume, but that didn't help much. The best choice in my oppinion would be to turn it off compleetly or to choose some music fitting the beautiful, elegant, upgrade, spa and close to nature feeling of this hotel.. some vieneese classics or some birds & water sounds. I also missed the warderobe in the spa area and some shower gel at the pool showers.

The location is amazing, across the road from Season Hill, which is great for kids (sleighs and inflatable snow sliding). The spa looks amazing and the swimming pools are so warm, just perfect for the kids. The breakfast was great, it really had everything for everyone and the main restaurant had big portions, tasty food, good service. The hotel rooms were spacious, warm, the receptionists were friendly and helpful, the car park seemed secure. Every evening they had a piano player, the kids enjoyed the kids area

On a couple of occasions we had to call reception to ask for the heating to be put on ( which they did fix quickly, but meant they had actually switched it off)

Room was very good, with a generous sized beds and comfy pillows. The cleanliness was wonderful. Smart TV with netflix/youtube. Wifi connection was good. Pools were ok, the water was clean and worm enough for the small kids/babies. The included breakfast was generous, with good quality and variety of food. Very nice and well equiped playgorund for the kids with dedicated personnell and activities in the evenings.

For dinner and lunch the prices are quite high in the restaurant, especially if you compare with the portion sizes, they do not match the presentation photos of the menu either. In other words, you are paying premium for small portions and regular quality food. A personal issue I have faced in the restaurant, all table chairs are covered in sheep fur, if you are alergic to animal hair like myself, this might be a problem. The construction itself is quite old and this is obvious on some certain areas, for example the furniture, the tiles in the toillet or the wood in the balcony. - this point has had no impact in my evaluation, there is nothing major from my perspective, I just wrote it down for the other users.

If you are travelling with children this is the place for you. The rooms are huge with a big balcony that oversees the mountain. There is enough room for all toys, bags and whatever else you are traveling with. There is thick carpet everywhere so you can let your kid run around without worrying they will get hurt :). They were nice enough to prepare a crib before we arrived. The breakfast is varied and very good. The spa area is huge and clean and the (sun)beds are very comfortable. There's a heated pool, a regular one a jacuzzi and several saunas. The reception/bar staff was very polite and accommodating. The cleaning staff were respectful, quiet when required and always greated you with a smile.

The furniture in the room is outdated and the mattress is not very comfortable, probably very old. The restaurant is overpriced and the food is average. The kids entertainment area, although fun and full of everything you need was not very clean, however that didn't stop our young one from having fun.
