The room was very nice and spacious. It had a microwave and a coffee maker which I greatly appreciated. The front desk staff was very nice. I loved the quality and smell of Dove shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean and esthetically pleasant. Free parking and airport shuttle. Overall, very nice hotel. If it wasn't for the issue with the cleaning staff, I would have given this hotel the highest rating.

There was no hand soap and no toiletries whatsoever by the sink (such as e.g. soap, lotion, a makeup remover sheet, or a shower cap). So in order to wash my hands in the sink, I had to reach out to the liquid soap dispenser located in the shower. The cleaning lady started banging at my door an hour before my checkout time and opened the door to enter uninvited in even if I told her I had requested a late checkout at 12 pm. She then stayed right behind my door and kept talking with someone very loudly interrupting with my business conference call until 5 minutes to 12 pm, when she again banged on my door to force me out of there.

The pool and hot tub were very clean and inviting. And, such a cozy bed...I wanted to buy the pillows from the hotel!!! The staff was friendly. The location is great if you need to get to the airport...it is right across the street. Although I did not require a flight during my trip if I ever need to stay close to the airport I would stay at Wingate Fletcher again.

The breakfast was adequate but the eggs were a little cool. That is a very small price to pay for a good night's sleep.

This airport was quite literally right across the street from the airport and was extremely convenient for us as we decided to book a stay solely because we were flying out early.

The airport was, all in all, clean. There was a smoke smell that lingered in the lobby but we did not smell it in our room and the room appeared very clean. The website sounded as if the park and fly option at the hotel was actually free. It is not. It is $10 each night. However, it is was still cheaper than the airport and very convenient since they drop you at the front door and pick you up at the front door.

Great location to the Asheville airport and the hotel shuttle started running at 4:30 AM! Awesome for those first flights out. The hotel is just across the street from the airport, so we were there in 5 minutes. We actually could have taken a slightly later shuttle for our 6:10 AM flight. We did not hear any plane noise from our room--a real plus! Although the breakfast wasn't out yet at 4:30, there was coffee and tea to get the day started (apples and oranges were available, too). This hotel is very convenient, clean and the perfect choice if you just need a place to sleep before a flight.

I have no improvements that I can think of.

Great location close to the airport. They have a shuttle that you can take from 4:30am to 12:00am, but it's also possible to walk to the airport if you prefer. It's also possible to leave your car there and pay for parking daily using the QR code you find at the reception. Room is basic but comfortable, not exceptional but definetely has what's needed for a good night of sleep.

The only complain would be that the heating kept blowing hot air even when we reduced the setpoint to a level where it should really be a fan. Made the room a little hot but nothing impossible to bear.

I had previously stayed here before so I knew what to expect. The beds are comfortable and clean. The general environment of the hotel is calm and the staff was kind. I like that the doors are locked and you can only get in with a keycard.

The only downside is that my room was a bit outdated, as in the walls were peeling a bit. The curtains are essentially see-through so if you want to get some sleep, be sure to bring a sleep mask or something to cover your face.

We were traveling from Asheville airport to Philadelphia for Thanksgiving. Wingate allowed us to park at their hotel for an extra day so that we wouldn’t have to scramble for an airport parking spot. Plus your shuttle took us to and from the airport (we were generous with our tips to the drivers). That was a very kind thing to do and we are appreciative. Thank you and Merry Christmas. Everything was exceptional.

The front desk clerk was very helpful and sweet. It had a scuttle to the airport at 4:30 am. It was clean. Had a shelf in the shower to put your personal shampoo on, which is a rare find. Soft fluffy towels. Good hot water with lots of pressure.

The bathroom door needed to be oiled so it didn't squeak when you used it in the night and possibly wake up other family members. Bathroom door did not latch either but both of these are small issues compared with how clean facility was and the good location.

Breakfast was good for the powdered eggs as all hotels seem to do. Different options for breakfast better than many I have had. Room was clean and excellent. Daily bed made up along with fresh towels. Location is excellent to eating and anything else you might need. Value for the stay was excellent, will be back.

Not alot for the money you pay & the quality of the rooms. Maybe a bigger elevator!!

Better than expected breakfast, Attentive staff, very responsive. Nice room, overall very impressed. I travel a lot and this is a cut above the typical hotel in this price range, starting from the staff and overall feeling of the hotel. Chose the hotel on price because it was Fall colors season and everyplace was expensive for this tourist time. The location near the airport was fine, easy to get around Asheville. Front desk staff was always pleasant and the housekeeping staff seemed happy and friendly.
