Very distinct decor/styling of room/building. Room was a good size. Nice outer shared area too. Room was serviced between nights during our stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming, clear communication re. check in/out processes and provided recommendations for food and catching early morning train on check out. Noted some cracks in the floor but hey the building didn’t collapse while we were there at least haha!

Got lost trying to find our room within the building, note directions around building to Hotel vs Residenza lol. No lifts, lots of stairs, we didn’t find the light switch in the common stairwell until the next morning lol. Probably would have been better if we’d checked in within hours/daylight

This is an ideal location for exploring all the main spots and those off the beaten track! It’s a quiet building and had everything one could possibly need! I had a small loft room (not ideal for taller ppl, luckily fine for me!), en-suite was spacious, all more than adequate! This is the perfect location to radiate out from! If coming from the airport by public water boat- Alilaguna, get off at either San Marco Giardinetti or San Maria Giglio( this is closer to the accom). To get to train station take line 1 ACTV from San Maria Giglio and this is also a really cool way to see and pass under the infamous Rialto bridge! The staff in the hotel were informative and friendly. There is a coffee vending machine and a snacks vending machine downstairs. The breakfast consists of crackers, pre packed cake, tea/coffee - more than enough to start the day! Overall, it is budget accommodation so manage your expectations. Having said that, embrace the charm of the area, you are in the heart of San Marco where merchants once traded and partied!! I will definitely stay here again!

Slightly higgledy-piggledy but that actually added to its charm!

- Perfect location - Clean rooms - vending machine in the building selling water and coffee in a good price - value for money

● We booked 2 rooms. The barthroom in one of the rooms was small and uncomfortable. In every step i made my legs touching the toilet bowl. ● its not something that i didnt like, it was ok with me but, it doesn have an elevator- in case that someone have mobility issues. ● low lighting ● Male receptionist behaviour in something that came up and need to put back the cameras to proof that he is wrong. Its ok to make mistake we all do, its not ok to avoid apologise.

The staff was really nice and helpful. The location was very close to the heart of Venice, San Marco square. Very responsive owner (both before and during the stay). The AC worked fine. Very nice and clean room and bathroom. I liked the common area with sufficient tables for guests to have their own food or just hang out.

Too many stairs to reach the room. There were two single mattresses attached to make it a double bed. It was quite annoying as the mattresses kept moving away from each other creating a channel in the middle. No dustbin present anywhere in the entire property (except in the bathroom)

Close to St Marks Square and a short walk from the Giglio vaporetto stop which services the train station and the airport. Good value for this area of Venice. The hotel is old and quirky but the staff were friendly and helpful. We were a group of 7 so we stayed in the apartment section in a triple room and 2 double rooms. The triple room was very large and there was a communal area with tables and chairs where we could all sit and eat which was nice. Rooms were all air conditioned.

Our room was missing a cornice and the bedspreads were clean but stained. Bedroom floor was sloped. This didn’t affect our stay but I note it in case others are bothered by that.

Our stay at this property was wonderful. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. The view from the apartment was amazing, especially from the small balcony, which was a perfect spot to unwind. The staff was very nice and helpful, adding to the positive experience. The property was easy to find and very spacious, providing plenty of room to relax. Overall, I highly recommend this property for its great location, stunning views, and spacious accommodation.

There were a couple of drawbacks. There was no lift, which might be challenging for some guests, but it is understandable given the age of the building. Additionally, while the bathroom was functional, it could benefit from some refinement to improve the overall experience.

It was very close to the city center, clean, the staff was helpful, the room was big enough for two people and the design was typical for venice i liked that a lot. It was very warm and it had a fridge and a bidet which is very important to me in a room😅. I can’t believe we found such a room with such a price so close to San Marco (since venice is crazy expensive) 10/10

We had to go up a lot of stairs to go to our room and with a luggage it can be a bit difficult but nothing we couldn’t manage since we are 20 year old. For someone older it can be a bit tiring.

The hotel is in a perfect location from Piazza San Marco. Around a 10 minute walk at most. So the location is excellent. The host (Laura) was extremely friendly and pleasant so she gets a 10/10. Me and my partner also got a free room upgrade as we were travelling for our anniversary. The room itself was also very clean with the towels and bedding changed every day. The bathroom was small but this is to be expected although it was clean. Overall....very very very good hotel with lovely staff and great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing.

Good location not too far to walk in St. Marks Square. The receptionist was accommodating. The room was nice and clean . Good wifi. There is Vending machine available with affordable prize. Shops and restaurants were accessible.Definitely we will come back next time.

If you arrive during the night it is hard to find the location because the signage has no light but thank you google map. The pillow was thin hopefully they will add extra in the cupboard. No lift but I think they will help you if you have big luggages good thing we only had hand carry.

Close to main touristic locations such as San Marco. The location and room was really nice. Hosts were kind enough to provide detailed info so that we could check ourselves in, since pur flight was late in the evening. They provided disposable slippers (on request). They provided coffee and tea in the room which was great given the outside colder weather 😃 Heated room and bathroom.

Would have been nice to have some complimentary toiletries (shampoo/coditioner) but overall it was a great choice for a short city-break stay.
