The rooms is comfortable and feels cozy. Rooms are small but not tiny - I find it quite comfortable and always clean. I sleep very very well at VH. The desk is quite ample for working and I can focus because it’s also not too noisy. The front desk staff is always helpful and friendly A++. The cleaning staff are helpful and I’m impressed by their attentiveness. Who doesn’t love little fish crackers and free Oreos daily ;+). Thank to the staff !!

I wish the AC did not blow directly into the bed. I do miss the hustle and bustle of the open restaurant in the lobby, but it looks like another might be in the works.

I liked the free mini bar in the room the guy whose on duty in the reception for morning shift is very nice. He upgraded me from queen-size bed to kingsize bed plus he is very approachable sorry i forgot the name. and the Filipino guy housekeeping as well is very helpful and approachable. The area of the hotel is very nice … everything you need is nearby the hotel. 7/11 just in the bottom of the hotel

As expected, small rooms. Not a big deal but TV provided did not plug into the wall (and so did not work) and one of the lights was flickering continuously.

This property is situated right in the heart of the city close to Raffles Hotel, Chijmes and Raffles city mall. Best location to get your bearings if it’s your first time in Singapore. It’s also close to Bras Basah and Bencoolen MRT. Most of the museums are located within walking distance from the hotel. The rooms are very clean and spacious enough for one person but on the small side for two. For a short stay it’s doable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They offer to look after your luggage after check out which they did for us while we went to chijmes and then to Raffles long Bar.

housekeeping, you need to request to clean the room and another day we put the sign but still don't clean the room we stay there for business trip and often return to the hotel at night tired. Of course, we do expect clean bed room when we get back to hotel

It's really close to a lot of different metro stations, and the bus stop is outside. Close to the main downtown harbour area. Lots of shopping centres and smaller shops near and also an indoor market. The room is clean and tidy, and they provide you with some complementary snacks and soft drinks.

The bed was very hard. And the air-conditioning unit blows straight into your face when you're trying to sleep, which is not nice.

The location was great. If you go out the back door, the MRT station is literally a 2 minute walk away, around the corner. Just swipe your bank card at the barrier when you enter and again when you leave. My bank statement currently shows each journey costing £0.06, but we’ll see… We were newbies to Singapore - we were amazed by the number of food courts available everywhere. They aren’t obvious from the street but you quickly get to realise that within just about every building complex, there are hundreds of shops and eateries. We particularly liked the craft beer place (Almost Famous) in Chijmes - the arcade complex on the right and across the Main Street as you go out the front of the hotel. The 7/11 next door was handy.

There was a cafe attached to the ground floor, but they didn’t have any vegetarian options, so we had to go elsewhere for breakfast. Not a big problem.

The employees are very friendly, respectful and always make you feel welcome. The ubication is very convenient ( Bugis), transportation, grocery, mall, local market, are close, a 5 minutes walk away aprox.

The room didn't have a closet and it was difficult to accommodate the luggage, fortunately the staff provided us with racks to put suitcases. I could hear a constant outside noise like a power plant. I didn't know what that was.

The room was as shown in the photos. No problem with anything. We stayed in the 2nd floor. There was a window facing the road but no disturbance from any sort of noise. There is a bus stand nearby and the Bras Basah MRT station nearby. Staff were helpful whenever we needed. They also provided an electronic iron and a small iron board which we used during our stay. For Asian travelers, there is a hand shower in the bathroom though it is not shown in the photos. The mini bar and the items were replenished daily as described. There is also a coin laundry (washer+dryer) in the ground floor. It costs SGD 8 (New SGD 1 coins only) for each. They run for 30 mins each. It was really helpful. There is also a 7 eleven next to the hotel, if you want to grab a quick drink or snack. They also have their pre-made foods which you can microwave and eat. Overall, we were delighted with the room and facilities.

There was nothing to dislike about the hotel.
