The villa suited us perfectly it was comfortable and well equipped and accomodated the 7 of us perfectly.The grounds of McMillans were beautifully manicured and sitting on the balcony in the peaceful surroundings listening to the birds whilst having breakfast with my family was very special. It was well situated if you wanted to walk or drive to the local shops and Metung Pub. 20 mins to Lakes Entrance in the car The games room was the nicest games room I've seen..very Hamptons vibe..white shutters,lovely sitting area,pool table,table tennis table,air hockey, wooden naughts and crosses and chess sets We used the tennis courts as well

I was a little disappointed at having to clean the outdoor tables and chairs on the balcony before being able to use them I think the cleaners should make sure these are apart of their cleaning schedule before guests arrive

We had no.10, perfect for our family of two young kids (1 & 3 yr olds). Stayed 2 nights but could have easily stayed a whole week, grounds are immaculate and facilities, pool and games rooms are great.

The only very small thing was the hot water service of the neighbouring cottage was right outside the window of the kids room. People next door came back at 11pm one of the nights and proceeded to use the tap of course, every time it turned on or off it was a loud knocking sound right out the window. Normally i wouldn’t mention such a thing but almost made me go over and ask them to stop using the taps! Not enough to ruin the property or stop us from recommending, but just something to note.

Lovely homely feel to the accommodation. James was delightful and very knowledgeable about the town. The beds were comfortable and they had provided everything you need and more. Although we did not use the games room, it was very cosy, clean and welcoming with chess, air hockey, a reading section, arcade games and more. An ideal holiday resort for families and couples alike. We would be happy to stay there again.

The bed sheets on the king bed were queen sheets and did not cover the doona completely.

A beautifully appointed cottage. Absolutely everything you would need to cook was provided for. The bed linen was crisp, clean and the bed ever so comfortable. Gorgeous white fluffy towels. Also it was within easy walking to a well stocked local shop. Our veranda overlooked well set out gardens which meant we were able to watch and hear native birds.

Greeted with a friendly bubbly hello... The place has everything that makes a stay more enjoyable. The location is great (only a 5 minute walk into the main street). The pool area is great and big enough not to feel that you're encroaching on other guests space. Our cottage was huge with all the necessary amenities. Sitting on the veranda, a glass of bubbly in hand & a beautiful lake view was hard to beat.

We loved everything about McMillan's. The accommodation was clean and very roomy. It's set in beautiful surroundings, a nice leisurely walk to the village along the water on the board walk and we had a lovely nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. Great communication from McMillan's with everything to do with our booking. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

We have stayed at McMillan's several times over a number of years, and somehow, it gets better each time. Spacious, light and airy, comfortable, and well appointed inside and out, with adequate space between the units. Sheree at reception was the best yet. A pleasant walk along the waterfront to the small shopping precinct and cracker hotel is a bonus.

A family tradition for over 30 years. Beautiful accommodation, recently refurbished in a clean Hampton style and very comfortable. Kids loved the pool and games room and it was safe to let them ride their bikes around the property. Grounds were well kept and feature lighting of the magnificent trees enhanced the ambiance.

The electric cooktops were terrible and wouldn’t heat up a pan enough to char a steak. The electric BBQ’s were also second rate and take a long time to heat up. Unfortunately, the property at the front used to be a beautiful wetland area and is now being redeveloped. They have also lost access to the jetty directly opposite the entrance so no more fishing. Prices have also risen and is very expensive.

1. Location - peaceful, across the road from Metung board walk and lake. 2. Spacious - large open plan kitchen, dining and living room combined, one bedroom, bathroom (with a shower), toilet and balcony. 3. Free Wifi and Netflix. 4. Well equipped, modern kitchen (coffee machine was a bonus). 5. Washing machine. 6. Toiletries were provided. 7. Reverse cycle A/C. 8. Access to games room, swimming pool and sauna.

1. Old style window in the toilet with a permanent opening, meant that it was absolutely freezing in there.

The location was superb and close to all ameneties.

We stayed in Villa3 which is a four bedroom. The bedroom at the ground level had many spiders and was not able to use that bedroom. so we were only able to use 3 bedrooms instead of 4. I hope it is treated and maintained in future.
