A good-sized room with a very comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The bathroom was modern and spacious. Each room downstairs has an outdoor table, which was lovely. The location was ideal. There was parking provided, which was a real bonus here. We could then leave the car behind and, within 10 minutes, we were in the main square, enjoying a glass of wine. Breakfast was extra and was self-service. A good mix of continental offerings at a reasonable price. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. We will definitely be back.

We would have really appreciated some tea and coffee making facilities.

Although the room itself was basic and small it was very clean, with a comfy bed and good shower. The hotel was very accommodating of our infant child; the lady at the front desk was very helpful. A short walk into town and close to a Lidl too.

The additional surcharge of €5/day for parking seems cheeky, especially as when you do drive into your allocated space it’s already been labelled as reserved for you. Check out is at 11am but despite not having checked out the cleaner came into our room three times between 10am and 11am to try and start cleaning, waking our infant child.

Charming hotel and staff. The past reviews show that the official "2-star" rating is purely about the size of the hotel and facilities. This was better in all regards than some 4-star hotels. We drove Beaune for one night. This was a stopover on our way back to the UK. The first pleasant surprise was a large printout with our name behind one of the empty parking spaces. The manager spotted us driving through the courtyard and greeted us immediately. The courtyard itself is a very nice spot to relax with a drink. We had a family room, with another pleasant surprise; it had a separate bedroom for the kids and the doorway was surrounded by wisteria. Great buffet breakfast, including smoked salmon and soft boiled eggs. Lovely old town. We'll have to come back to the Beaune Hotel in the future to explore properly.

Beautiful boutique style hotel. The staff were very warm and welcoming. They were happy to assist with all requests. They also suggested points of interest to visit, including restaurant recommendations and making reservations for us. The rooms were so clean, with everything we required. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with something for everyone and was good value for money. Car parking was available and easy. It was a great location for accessing the old town, only a few minutes walk.

I stayed here twice with my two boys on our way to and back from Tuscany. We put the extremely kind proprietor through all sorts with our nightmare journey (both ways!!). She was absolutely fantastic, so accommodating to us. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, clean and the breakfast was delicious. We were even able to walk from the hotel to Le Carnot where your dinner is lit by lights on the church. Absolutely fantastic place, highly recommend!

The staff was wonderful. Very friendly. We arrived fairly late. They recommended a wonderful, small, local restaurant a short walk away and made a reservation. Breakfast was wonderful, albeit crowded. No big deal. Dining areas for breakfast great. Located in old Town. Beautiful walking. Bedrooms were simple, very nice. Very comfortable, deep sleep.

The line at coffee machine. Maybe a drip coffee maker would be a good addition. Hate waiting in line for a simple cup of coffee.

We were welcomed by an enthusiastic and friendly staff and enjoyed a family-like atmosphere throughout our stay. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather and enjoyed a nice bottle of wine from the hotel's cellar and the quaint and peaceful courtyard terrace. Ample covered on-site parking was another plus during our stay, All in - great value and friendly "just like family" ambiance.

The breakfast was rather basic with limited options and below average coffee.... However, it's in line with what one would expect for a hotel in this price range. The breakfast room itself was bright and - perhaps most importantly - the staff was super friendly and energetic.

This is a wonderful hotel. I am so surprised it is only 2 stars but guess that is because it is simple and there are no kettles in room or bottles of water. It was immaculately clean, the beds were great, it has aircon, lovely modern bathroom. Our bedrooms were spacious and had French doors to decking with a table and chairs. We were able to get drinks in the evening and breakfast was simple, fresh and delicious! As for the owners and staff - so unbelievably helpful and kind with lots of tips on things to do which we did and were spot on. Anne booked us a restaurant nearby when we arrived on a Monday and many were closed - just to ensure we had somewhere to eat. I normally stay in 4 and 5 star hotels but will return here as was just great and better than many 4 stars I have stayed in. A gem of a hotel.

I would have liked a bigger softer pillow - personal preference.

The parking was excellent - in a large garage behind a secure gate. The location was superb - close to the centre of Beaune. The rooms overlook a pretty courtyard where you can have your breakfast if you like.

Slightly aggressive welcome from the owner caused by some sort of mix up with our parking space not being reserved by the hotel. It was quickly sorted, but not a great welcome. Other than that unfortunate experience the stay was great and I would definitely return.

Staff were very efficient, nice and helpful. Thanks very much ! Spoke English. Parking was very good. The bed was comfortable although the room was a bit small (it was the only option left when I booked so there could be bigger room types). The shower and toilet were new and big with hairdryer. It’s not far from Beaune so you can walk there to eat and see attractions. There’s a supermarket nearby. Overall, I think it was a great hotel for short stays in Beaune and very good value for money. I will stay here again if I come around the region.

The amenities were basic. No water or fridge in the room but you can ask from the staff for bottles of water or to put something in the fridge.
