We were upgraded to a bungalow and it was gorgeous! Everything looked new and it was a very peaceful one night stay. Breakfast was wonderful. It wasn't included in the booking but we were able to pay separately when we arrived. It was a short walk to the cable car, places to eat, walking stick park, Sigulda New Castle and the Castle of the Livonian Order. It was only a twenty minute walk to the the bobsleigh track, but we drove there on our way out of town because it was a hot day and there was a lot of walking at the track if you wanted to walk alongside it. It was a perfect stay and I wish we were there longer. I would definitely recommend Villa Vanilla!

The care of the people who work there is remarkable, they're really helpful and gentle and run everything with great care and love. The room is bigger than a standard hotel room, the bed is perfect and the bathroom has everything you may need. I stayed one night but if i had to stay one or two weeks i wouldn't complain at all. Cleanliness is perfect. Position of the hotel 10 minutes or less from the center in a nice area. Breakfast is excellent, with lots of variety and tasty food. If you find yourself in the area Villa Vanilla is a safe choice.

Close to several sights, 5 min walk. Room was very clean and had all necessary amenities, f.e. fan for the warmer summer nights. Comfortable beds, small fridge, enough reading lights, several tv channels, quite big bathroom etc. Room was quiet, the street is not very busy. Breakfast vas simple, but tasty. Staff is very friendly.

I like big pillows, the pillows were quite thin and soft. But the pillow issue I have almost in every hotel :) I should travel with my own pillow

We had a family room, which was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was perfect and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a domestic area at the edge of town. Parks, castles and hiking areas are all around the corner. The hotel has ample parking for cars.

There wasn't much to really dislike. There were some building activities in the neighborhood that made noise early in the morning but the hotel is not to blame for that.

All was great. Receptionist girl was welcoming, described everything about the hotel. Room was clean, bathroom as well. Bed was comfortable, and we had a fridge in the room, that was nice. Breakfast was good well.

My son has found a hair ball on the carpet, and all TV channels were in german, otherwise nothing to complain.

Great place to stay at in Sigulda. The room was spacious and everything seemed pretty new. The kitchen was well equipped. I stayed with three little children and we loved it. Most restaurants and a large park were all at a walking distance. We spent two days there, visiting the beautiful Gauja National Park (30min-1hour by car). Complimentary bottled water was really nice and appreciated.

Extremely clean rooms with many places to put your things. There was a fridge in the room with water bottles. The room was very quiet. The breakfast location was near and very varied. The Staff tas very friendly. Very good location and there were many good eating places nearby

Two things: location and cleanliness. Very close to Siguldas Pilsdrupas, about 8-10min walk. And I was stunned about the fact how clean everything was. I’ve traveled quite a lot and I’ve stayed in very different locations, this place this place surpasses all the previous ones in terms of cleanliness.

Hello, we are traveling from the United States, and the hotel staff was extremely friendly. I was allowed to adjust my arrival day, as my travel route slightly changed. breakfast was delicious. my two children are picky eaters and the woman who prepared breakfast (I believe the owner) was so patient and kind with their choices. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.

In the heart of Sigulda, on a silent street, close to Sigulda castle ruins, which is venue for many concerts during summertime. Very clean, modern hotel, great value for money, nice breakfast, parking available on premises.

At first it was very hot in the room (seemed like it was not ventilated for some time and there is no air conditioner). Would be nice to have recycle bin in the bathroom/toilet as well. Television had only German and Russian TV channels. Wifi was very slow on the second floor of the Resto building.
