We arrived very late but staff was available and checked us in quickly. The room was very clean and nice. It was a great value and location close to the train station and ferry terminal is a huge plus.

The hotel is renovated but the furnitures look quite old. It is just next to the bus station, and 5 min walk to the port. Very nice winter sunshine through the window every day and you don’t really need any heating. The hotel has a restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and there are also many good restaurants within walking distance.

There are some stains on the floor. My room is facing the bus station so it is quite noisy. On my last day I finally found that the room has a roller shutter outside the window, but it’s kind of stuck and wouldn’t work.

The hotel is within walking distance to the port and it is a very straightforward walk, no turns required. There is also ample parking and the bus station and train station are also very close. The staff is very helpful and the front desk is manned 24 hours a day which was wonderful as I needed to leave early for the ferry. Check in was simple and the front desk helped answer my questions. The room I stayed in was massive and had a lovely balcony with outdoor seating. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was also quite large and had a tub and shower combination. Very nice room for the price and lots of space. Also easy walking distance to restaurants and the downtown area. If you want a hotel that is close to the port, has easy parking, and is clean with nice rooms - I would highly recommend.

I prepaid for the room and received an email, probably in error, saying that I needed to check in by eight PM or risk losing my reservation. That made me fairly nervous but it wasn't at issue upon check in.

This was a one-night stay for a group of 4 friends (non-couples) during an Andalusia tour, when we needed a place to stay close to Gibraltar. Even though the hotel is adjacent to the bus station (not very pretty area), and the building is not the most modern / freshest, we really enjoyed the room which had two separate single beds (very comfortable) in each of the two bedrooms. Bathroom had an internal door separating toilet from shower/sinks which was helpful. Staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was good for 8.50 per person.

The parking was under the hotel with direct elevator access to the rooms (something that is rare and costs a lot more than 10/day in other cities), we still thought it would be nice to be included in the room price.

The room - despite having an old design - had its charm and was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, for instance in terms of logistics (How to get to Gibraltar? … to Malaga? …?) by printing out the bus schedules and explaining everything in detail. Supergood. The hotel is well located in close proximity to the ferry terminal (ca 1 km). So in walking distance. The bus terminal is on the rear of the hotel, the train station on the other side of the street. Both a big plus for those traveling onwards and only stopping in Algeciras. Especially those not using a car for transportation. The breakfast was fair value for the offerings.

A bit outdated from a design. But the hotel certainly has its charm. So no real disadvantages.

This was a great location for me. I only stayed one night arriving by train and leaving by ferry the next day. It was even next to the bus station. The area might not be great late at night but it was fine during the day and early evening. I walked around quite a bit and enjoyed the street art/murals. I found a good place for dinner and breakfast nearby. The hotel reviews didn't sound great, but I thought the room was surprisingly nice. It was large with plenty of space for luggage, working at a desk, and had extra seating. The sheets and pillows were good cotton and I had a balcony. Lots of natural light in the day with a wall of windows to the balcony which had a table and chairs for relaxing. There was even a small refrigerator. I arrived early and they let me store my luggage.

I can't think of anything. I don't usually stay in large hotels (prefer small boutique stays), but the room was great and perfect for one night.

Superb location, just outside the Algeciras Railway Station and in the same building complex as the Algeciras Bus Station (with regular local buses to La Linea/Gibraltar). The Ferry terminal is 5-10 minutes walk away, as is the surprisingly pretty old-town area of Algeciras. Meals in the hotel restaurant, where I had dinner, were inexpensive and of good quality, I also had the buffet-breakfast which comprised of a full range of cooked items, fruits and pastries etc.

The room could have done with a makeover as there were some signs of wear and tear.

The staff were lovely and accommodating, especially as we arrived late with tired and hungry children. The waiter made a special effort to provide a meal for our veggie daughter and he food was good despite the late hour. The hotel is well located further train and port and staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were huge, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was generous and the half board arrangement made our whole stay really easy (we were just staying one night to get the ferry the next day).

Smoking was permitted in communal areas which we're not used to, so the restaurant and halls and lounges all smelled a bit smoky, though chairs and communal spaces were well maintained.

The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Room was clean. It had everything needed for our brief stay. It was delightful to have a bath, as most places offer only showers. Breakfast buffet had variety and a lot of fresh fruit.

Noise. The hotel wasn't loud and when our neighbors were in their room the entire conversation could be heard. When the elevator stops it abruptly drops several centimeters. This was startling.

Very well located just next to Algeciras bus station, perfect for taking the bus directly to Gibraltar (or others). The room is very large, clean. Bed very comfortable as well. There's a restaurant, not the best but still useful to have it at hand. Good communication when checking in and every other time I went to the reception.

The bathroom looked a bit old, no big deal. For ex the shower was throwing water a bit everywhere. Also the room was just above the bus station, it's convenient but of course you get the noise of the buses... can't have one without the other. The laundry service was not available when I was there.
