Good low budget option 10 mins. walk from Spanish/Gibraltar border. Basic no-frills hostel but clean and servicable rooms and friendly staff on hand 24/7. Lots of cafes/bars/shops near to hostal. Also close to bus station.

Great location. Bus station in 750m, where you can take a bus to Tarifa or to Marbella direction. Just 1.1 km to cross-point to Gibraltar. Just 500 m to the closest beach Poniente.

There is no fridge in the room. There is no WiFi password written anywhere in the room. The closest beach Poniente in the wast is much less appealing than further beach Santa Barbara in the east in 1.4 km.

Basic accommodation at a great price great location round the corner from the English Square, ok for a group of lads who just want a no frills bed to sleep in at the end of the day. The rooms were clean and tidy and had aircon and a tv as well.

Some mornings we had no hot water which was an issue in some of the rooms that we used, but not a major issue as it was very hot so a tepid shower was fine. They seemed to work on the first floor ok but not on the second floor.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Shower, hair dryer, TV and AC all worked well. This is a pretty modest place, but comfortable. It is within walking distance of the La Linea bus station, and border crossing to Gibraltar & Gibraltar airport. It is also about 2 blocks to the center of town of La Linea, which has a number of restaurants and bars, a nice bakery. Area of hotel seems safe.

Not many electrical outlets, if you have many devices to charge.

This was our 4th stay at the Hostal Paris. It's a budget hostel so don't expect 5 star facilities. However the staff are so friendly and the location is excellent. See you next year and thabk you again for your fantastic hospitality.

We didn't like leaving to go back to the cold and rain in the UK.

I loved that we had our own sink and mirror. This made the shared bathroom situation a lot easier. The Location of the hostal is PERFECT. It is only about a 20 minute walk to Gibraltar. Super convenient location. Very nice staff.

A small refrigerator would go a long way. It would have been nice to have had a way to keep things cold.

The owner/staff was very helpful (we could also leave our luggage for a few hours for the next travel). The room was clean, the necessary items were given even if the last renovation was some time in the past. However, for the price it was fully fine. We had aircon, TV with Spanish channels, the WiFi was stable. We used a shared bathroom that was clean. There are a lot of bars/cafeterias in the next streets of the Hostal. But it was quiet all the time to get also sleep. From the Hostal it is only 20-25 min to the border of Gibraltar (walking).

There could be one or two bathrooms more for all guests. It worked for us because the other guest used it probably at different times.

I loved the location as so easy to walk around the shops, bars and restaurants and not far to beach

For the value of money it was worth it

The owner was lovely and exactly what you hope for when you arrive in a new place, welcoming friendly and funny. The room was exactly as adveritised, nothing fancy but perfectly comfortable for a short stay. Location right in the old town.

I liked everything, but I knew I'd booked a budget hotel so I'm judging it on that. It was great for a budget option, but of course if you want a gym, pool, room service, then it's not here. I'd still recommend it for budget travel though

Great location, close to town and border for Gibraltar, was clean and comfortable, could be a bit noisy so if light sleeper not good idea on the whole was OK

Lack of parking, hotel does have parking available but this is very limited and Street parking is hit and miss and no where near the hotel, there is an under ground secure car park close to hotel and border and only 24 euro for 3 day good value Could have kettle available for drinks
