Sorry didn’t eat breakfast but for our stay the location was perfect, everyday we went to different places, Herolds bay, knaysna, Mossel bay, Wilderness ext. al in short distances from ArendsRus. We loved our stay.

The shower water, it start out fine, hot water and cold water but not even 2 min in the hot water disappeared. Face covered in soap struggling to close the taps. When you open it again the hot water is back but if you open the cold water tap a little bit to get the right temp you start rinse you face it almost immediately go cold again. Had to stop and pour water in the bath tub and took a bath. Didn’t take showers again. Something wrong with the water connections for the shower.

We stayed here in Winter. Reception sent us a message while we were travelling to indicate that our room was ready and to welcome us. This was a nice touch. The location is near the strawberry farms and other farms. We knew we would not be in heart of George so we were prepared to travel to the sites. The resort is tranquil and lovely to hear the animal sounds from neighbouring farms. 1. Bedrooms x2, spacious main with balcony and movable heaters available. 2. Bathroom x2 bathrooms was great to have the extra bathroom. 3. Lovely rustic open plan kitchen and lounge with tv overlooking the mountain and trees. Equipped kitchen. 4. Braai facility on the deck. 5. Cleaning service each day which was included in the rate. 6. Staff were friendly and helpful. My daughters absolutely loved this place, nights were cold so we spend the nights indoors playing games and tv options were Netflix.

Things that I did not like was: 1. The shower was made of plastic material include the floor. I am used to tiled floor. 2. The road to resort is not tarred for about 2kms. 3. I would not recommend for family with very little kids for the staircase to the bedrooms. There was not much I did not like, all in all we would stay here again.

Our stay at ArendsRus Country Resort was spectacular! From the serene beauty of the surroundings to the warm hospitality, everything was perfect. Accommodation: The rooms are clean, cosy, and beautifully decorated in a chalet style. The bed was comfortable, and waking up to the stunning wildernesses views was delightful. Facilities: The resort offers a pristine pool, well-maintained gardens, and an on-site restaurant serving delicious farm style meals. Service: The staff are exceptional, always friendly and ready to assist. Great service thanks. Activities: There are plenty of activities, including hiking and bird watching. Location: The best part about this resort is its picturesque location which is very peaceful and perfect for escaping city life. Its located in a forest on the Outeniqua Mountains. ArendsRus exceeded all my expectations, providing a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. Highly recommended! I'll definitely return. Thank you for an unforgettable getaway!

This was my second stay at your property, during September 2023 . I am so pleased I came back and cannot wait for a 3rd, 4th and many more times. The property is truly a blessing and amazing, the most beautiful landscapes and real farm feel. . Rooms are out of this world with views to die for. Dinners and breakfast is 5 star +. Cleanliness 10+. Rooms spacious and bed comfortable. Charne is a real gem. I can only trust that the owners take good care of her as she is a real asset to your establishment. Please cherish her. The scenery here is absolutely beautiful, and it was such a peaceful place to relax. We’re already looking forward to coming back to explore the many hiking trails in the area—there’s so much more to see! The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts!

We wanted to do a romantic relaxing bath but it was a bit small for two people, it didn't take away from the overall experience though.

The total package. The luxury tent was above and beyond. So carefully designd, smart (sockeds on both side of the bed) and clean. It was a dream stay and we were regretting that we only stayed one night. Next to that the lovely food (bobotie) diner on the veranda. Warm swimmingpool. Beautiful maintained garden.

Totally Nothing! Really everything was taken care of. One small suggestion because they gave us the great opportunity to eat in front our tent under the veranda. Maybe a special box to put in the plates to keep away from the monkeys. Early morning visit from them because they are so curious. But it was only because we ate outside and left the plates outside.

If I could give Arendsrus a 12/10, I would. I had a long stay and they were amazing. Special mention to Luzaan and Charne and the young lady that kept my room clean and neat with fresh towels daily among other things. What a pleasure. The surroundings are beautiful but the staff make the place so much better, if that's even possible. The food is prepared as you request from the freshest ingredients. Very tasty. A completely wonderful experience. I feel rested and will return whenever I can.

There is nothing that I can say here. Everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at ArendsRus. We were greeted by Chandré, the very friendly and helpful receptionist. Our cabin was so beautiful and we really enjoyed all the special treats like the sherry, chocolate truffels, champagne (for my husband's birthday) and the coffee station in the room. Everything was stylish and nice. The setting is very peaceful and the huge gardens and heated swimming pool are kept well-maintained. We also had an excellent dinner at the restaurant. The food was delicious, sumptious and well-prepared by Chandré and she served it for us as arranged by scheduled time. She is really hands-on with everything, always smiling and a gem for this establishment. Our breakfast was hearty and delicious. We will definately visit ArendsRus again in future. Being surrounded by nature and tranquility. Being woken up with the beautiful sounds of the variety of bird life and awesome view. Lovely, friendly and accommodating staff. Perfect place to relax and have a true vacation with no stress! Can't wait to return!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Just a small tiny thing.. Both reading lights affixed to the bedlamps did not work. However this did not affect my stay at all. Will go back 1000 times if I could.

Tranquil, lovely, quiet, good value for money. The unit we stayed in was fairly new and overlooking the tree tops. We took our mountain bikes with and could make use of their mtb tracks from the venue. We loved every moment. There were panel heaters in the cabin which kept it nice and cozy warm. Breakfast was included in the price and substantial. Staff are friendly, helpful and really made our stay there special. We made use of the braai facilities in the lounge area for one night and all the utensils, wood, grids and even spice were provided at a fee of R50. We had out own meat. Arendsrus, well done and thank you 😊

No air conditioner in the cabin, but the panel heaters were great. The dining hall was cold in the morning and cushioning on dining chairs must be considered. Infrared heaters in the dining hall will make a world of a difference.
