Location was great. Semi-private 3rd floor accommodations. Very receptive contact person.

Bathroom issues; clogged sink and broken sink pipe at first. Constant mild smell from bathroom , we had to keep the bathroom closed at all times. Hot water not consistent in the shower. Noisy at night from the street.

Excellent location, wonderful helpful staff, amazing room, bathroom and bonus loft sitting area. Felt very safe, was quiet and comfortable

Around 12-15 steps from entry door to the first floor elevator— this is an issue with luggage and could be an issue if mobility impaired.

The location was excellent, just around the corner from the Piazza della Repubblica, My room was very comfortable and kept spotlessly clean thriughout my stay. It was well equipped with a small fridge and a great shower. Although the hotel does not have a 24hr concierge, a welcoming Whatsapp from Francesco checking my time of arrival whilst I was still sitting in the airport in the UK was a lovely touch to put a solo traveller at ease, followed by a further one once I was in Florence. I knew he would be easy to contact throughout my stay if needed and he was frequently on hand in the hotel. I enjoyed breakfast at  Paszkowski in the Piazza, it was a delight and the staff were very welcoming. It was also a bonus being able to leave my luggage ti pick up later in the day to pick up to leave for my flight.

It could be a little noisy at night especially as I like to sleep with the window open, an expected drawback of the very central location. When I next visit I will pack my earplugs.

There are five rooms in this beautiful hotel in a historic building just steps from the Piazza Della Repubblica. Francesco Greeted me upon my arrival and carried my suitcase up the first flight of steps and back down when I left. He manages both MABELLE Residenzas with unbelievable calmness. There is no elevator until you get to the first floor. This may be a problem for some people. It is a very old building. The rooms are lovely. And one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. The bathrooms are fully appointed and beautiful. It is 10 minutes away from all the major Great shopping are including haute couture stores are on every corner and the hotel is located just steps from the famous Caffe Paszkowski, where I enjoyed people watching and having a Campari Spritz sites. The famous Mercato Del Porcellino, “pig market”, is a 5 minute walk. Francesco Offered his guidance of places to visit, and the best tours. I highly recommend the free walking tours. I went on two. The guides are art history majors, and provide the most interesting interesting information about Florence, the buildings, museums, and art. I Had a solid foundation in art/history, but these guides were so informative and I learned so much my head was spinning in the best of ways.😂 If you take one of the free tours, please know that it is expected that you tip the guide as this is their payment. €20 per person is recommended and well worth it. I loved this hotel so much and wanted to extend my visit, but unfortunately it was booked out. Francesco Went out of his way to help me find another hotel. This was no easy task given that it was fashion week in Florence. I cannot wait to go back!

Nothing!!! Only that I had to leave😂

First of all Francesco was a legend! Thanks for the surprising birthday wine bottle mate! And very helpful with instructions or suggestions for Florence. Second, the place is in a relatively quiet street at the top floor - so not much noise - and it is double insulated. It is close to the central square and around 300 meters from the Cathedral or the famous bridges. The room was super clean and had everything you need. Room bore an old school charm with high ceilings and the bed was very comfortable. When I return to Florence, I will stay again there.

Only downside there are quite a few bits of stairs till you reach the elevator and if it is not working, you have to go up with all your luggage.

central location, nice decor.

the room is up a couple flights. Francesco met us and helped us with the bags up the first flight and from there we could take the lift. when we left the property tho there is no one to assist us on the way down, you'll have to be prepared to manage the bags on your own. the room and the common area had a very strong frangrances, possibly from air freshener products that were used by the property. the smell was unavoidable and we contacted Francesco about our concern and he said he would tell the staff not to spray anything but it was already imbedded in everything so anything that touched the bedding also ending up smelling like the fragrance, not good for anyone who is sensitive to artificial fragrances! it made sleeping or being in the room very difficult.

Location, location, location!!!

We were under the assumption that we had a 2 bedroom apartment, however it was 2 separate rooms with in a shared common area with other guests. Also not aware that the apartment had only stair access to first floor before we reach a lift! Be prepared for small rooms and bathrooms with no vanity space and with a few extras not working- fridge, switches, shower been leaking and damaged wall over a long time but request repairs on first day like it just happened! Lovely manager, but need to give guests more than carrying luggage, ordering taxi and handing out a spare dirty pillow. Location is fantastic, walking distance to so much, just a small pretty room with construction happening next door ! It’s a pity, because it does have charm

Great location in the centre of Florence with everything within walking distance. The room itself was very pleasant to stay in with a comfortable bed. The host is very friendly and helpful. He gave me some personal tips for places to visit and eat in the city. Easy to get in touch with and always willing to help you out with any problems or questions. If you come by car, the access to the local parking services are really helpful. Do keep in mind parking costs are separate.

You stay in the middel of the city and shopping centre so it could potentially get noisy during late hours.

The room was very clean and nice. the Ac worked very well. Staff was nice. The location is great, just next to Piazza Republica where lots of great restaurants are located. Also a fun market is nearby. Piazza della Signoria is only a 5 min walk

I would have liked to be able to use an elevator the whole way up -especially with luggage-, you have to use the stairs from the ground floor to the first floor and then you can take the elevator the rest of the way. But this is an old house so it's understandable that an elevator is not a part of the design.

The location was very good in the heart of florence. Walking distance to the happening joints. The owner was also very helpful.

There is no car parking. So anyone booking this hotel please make sure ul arrange for the car parking before hand cause in florence getting car parking is really difficult The location is good but there is a lot of noise . Music buzzing people making noise. If someone has an issue with it then will have to look into all these points. The life is also on the 1st floor. So be mindful to carry ur luggage 1 floor.
