It was centrally located to most everything worth seeing. Also a spectacular view from the piazza. Great & helpful staff.

That the free breakfast was .7 mile walking distance from the boutique hotel but had some good choices.

I liked because it’s comfortable, all clean, good safety place, the room’s name is like colors and flavors and the room smells like name, my room was chocolate and smelled to chocolate and wood because has wood on the roof, i’m sure that it’s perfect for couples. San miguel de allende it’s a little magical town and beautiful place the people it’s very nice, and quiet place. I’m sure you’ll love it.

I didn’t like they don’t have parking lot, it’s far from hotel, but they have a valet parking and you don’t need your car for going to the plaza because it’s exactly 3 blocks down. They don’t have kitchen and only you can get room service I don’t remember the time available but they can give you a gift certificate for a breakfast for another hotel so that you know it, and it’s very nice too but it’s far from hotel el tio like 7 or 8 blocks down and you can walk like a 10 or 15 minutes.

The room was large and comfortable. Great location close to everything, but very quiet for a good night’s sleep. There were nice large windows and good AC. The staff was friendly and helpful and provided anything requested. Three out of the 4 breakfasts I enjoyed were at the hotel several blocks away, and those were excellent and plentiful. The one I enjoyed on the rooftop at Casa Del Tio was also lovely—continental breakfast that they delivered upstairs for me.

Getting moved out of a poorly, furnished with furniture taking up too much room and windows with rotting cloth. I spoke to another couple about to leave their downstairs bedroom which they loved. I went to the receptionist and asked to be moved. She said yes! So I was in for the wonderful cook in the kitchen who served delightful breakfast

Safe and quiet enough for a good sleep in a quiet room on the border of a beautiful garden in the center of San Miguel de Allende! When I return I will stay at

What a beautiful place! Pictures look exactly like the actual room - clean large room with comfy bedding and multiple seats for sitting (always an oversight in many hotels). Simple breakfast included that could be delivered to your room or the terrace - same every day, but fresh cut fruit, coffee, juice, and some pasties. They have two ground floor rooms right near the lobby (which we booked), but no elevator. There is a rooftop terrace that looked beautiful but we didn't go because of rain at night for nights we stayed. About 2-3 blocks to the Zocalo and other sites but a bit away from the tourist route so quiet. Staff very helpful. Would stay again in a second.

Not a fault of the hotel, but San Miguel very hilly and not in the flatter area near the Zocalo.

Marisol at the front desk was terrific. All the staff I came into contact with were attentive. You can’t beat the location….walking distance to many places , nice breakfasts on the rooftop. The owner runs a successful small boutique hotel

Very centrally located within waking distance of restaurants and parks. Relatively large bedroom well furnished. Large modern bathroom with plenty of hot water. Air conditioning worked well. Staff very attentive and helpful. Continental breakfast on roof top terrace with a view.

There are a lot of stairs to rooms and rooftop terrace but not a problem for guests with no mobility issues.

I stayed in the Chocolate room. Check-in was easy, the staff were so nice, and I loved my room. The location is really central. Bed was great, AC was a nice comfort, and it was nice to have the sitting area. The rooftop has beautiful views.

On the first morning, the shower was really cold and didn’t warm up. I ended up taking showers in the middle of the day or in the evening my remaining days and the shower had hot water then. Probably just a fluke but be warned just in case.

It was the perfect 3 block distance to the center yet without all the noise. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast was a perfect start to our day. The staff went out of their way to assist you. Overall it was spectacular

A very nice hotel that is located in the center of the city, granting ease of access. The room was very spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, and one can either be served on the rooftop terrace -- which has great views of the city and the surrounding hills and mountains -- or in their room.
