We had a great stay, big thanks to Danielle on reception for her help with welcome, and the pool table, we have 2 boys who played a lot of pool during our stay. The gym, sauna, steam room and swimming pool are clean and well looked after, and the staff are great. The buffet breakfast is as you'd expect, hot and lots 😀, and sets you up for the day, and is served till 9.30am. The evening meal has a good menu, the bacon cheese burger's were particularly popular. The rooms were clean and very quiet, so all in a great place to stay.

A good property spacious with lovely outdoor areas to enjoy. Large bar area and great pool. Breakfast was really lovely so much to choose from and constantly ring replenished. Excellent staff at reception, very welcoming.

Light not working in room by the door, shower head leaky and needs looking at, some staff very slow at bar in service but they were young so maybe just inexperience. Wasn’t too impressed with someone taking their dog out at 3:40am right next to our room and slamming doors on way in and out-perhaps keep dog owners to one area or just not allow them at all?

Great customer service! Very worm welcome from at the reception (from Filip). Bar staff were very friendly. First night we had dinner at lounge bar as restaurant was fully booked. Food was cocked very good. However, ingredients quality could be a bit better. Second evening we had dinner in the restaurant. Friendly stall and very good service. Food was prepared great (we had steaks) but quality if the meat itself could be better (it doesn’t look to be fresh meat… there was smell of a fridge). Breakfasts was satisfying both mornings. In overall, great staff and customer service. Very good kitchen staff as the food was cocked fantastic.

Small issues in terms of cleanliness but my criteria is too high on that point.

Room excellent; breakfast better than anticipated-good for anyone; facilities really good; grandkids enjoyed swimming pool; fine grounds; ample parking though spaces narrow; located off main road and quiet; quick travel time into Thame and quick access to/from M40. N.B. Beware if your GPS wants to lead you to Oxford Belfy via "Sandy Lane" - this is v.v.v narrow lane with tall hedgerows and few passing places

Hotel overcharges by £50 as a "HOLDING DEPOSIT". This is not advised on booking.com and NOT advised by hotel staff at check-in. Only as we left were we told about this extra DEBIT. Really POOR procedure. Also booking.com says "payable at hotel"; this is not so; hotel automatically debits room fee + EXTRA £50 on or before arrival. So, where we expected to pay on check-out by entering card and pin to authorise, hotel has ALREADY pre-authorised the amounts!!!!!!! This is not courteous hotelier practice. Also some strange guests/residents

We registered our car at 9.45 for an event elsewhere we were attending (10.am). There was no fee for early parking. It’s a busy hotel, but well managed. Room large and comfortable. Love the shower controls at the other end to the shower head - meant you could set the temp before venturing under the water.

There was a step up to a walk in shower which would have benefited by a small grab rail to the right of the step as you entered as the only steadying surface was wall and glass panel. There was a rail inside the shower if you needed to hold on whilst you showered.

Location, the reception and welcome, the room was absolutely lovely, leading out to a quiet courtyard. The restaurant service and food was above expectations. The Spa, Sauna, Gym and Pool were great Breakfast was very good Conference facilities and lunch was very good Overall a wonderful experience and we all voted to meet there as a regular venue

Comfortable room with good toiletries. Food excellent although limited bar menu. Grounds very good.staff helpful and friendly.

Initial room was small and compromised by sloping ceiling. We were then given an excellent alternative. Short staffed at breakfast so had to search for cutlery etc. Cleaning hit and miss. Room pretty good, corridors never vacuumed in three days.

The rooms are very spacious, I booked a double deluxe, with walk in shower. Lots of space to hang things, cupboards to place your clothes, lots of power points and charging jacks. Extra cupboards to store other items and lots of mirrors. We unexpectedly and at very short notice (that morning) had to extend our stay and was able to rebook this very promptly and in the same room. We had a one day break in our stay (because it was extended) and we were able to leave the vast amount of our luggage with them whilst we were away for the day and night, and returned to the same room the next night. Very helpful and very accommodating staff. We did have a slight issue with one of our meals one night. Basically I had ordered fish with gnocchi and edame beans. When the dish arrived it just had the beans, no gnocchi. It would have been quite difficult to eat that amount of beans without a slightly upset stomach, so I raised it with the serving lady. At my suggestion, she took my plate away and came back literally 2 minutes later with just the fish and a serving of slim chips (which were delicious - we were addicted to them by the end of our stay !) My husband had waited for me and we were able to eat our meal together. Shortly after a more senior member of staff came to our table to apologise and took the dish off our bill and offered us a free dessert each. We were very grateful. This is the service we experienced throughout our stay (we were there a total of 9 days ). The staff are excellent, from the lady bringing and clearing plates from the table to the deputy manager, they can all promptly act if there is any problem or need rather than passing it down line to management. Very friendly and approachable. On our second trip back, the chap on reception volunteered and actually took our very heavy luggage back to our room, as my husband has trouble with his knees. They also provided a daily supply of small bottles of mineral water each, which was very much appreciated.

Not the fault of the hotel, but there were some issues with very noisy guests. When there was an issue, the hotel staff managed it and resolved the problem, promptly and fully. They really cared that we had a good stay. I have been to other hostels where any issues with noise is ignored and you basically have to resolve it yourself, not easy. We did get a very good night sleep for the duration of our stay.

All staff were very polite. Hotel clean and welcoming. Cookies nice touch. Bed very large 🙂 Curtains blacked out the room well. Room service, Thai meal lovely and hot. Staff quick to remedy any issues....More towels, fix phone. Send room service menu.

Phone in bedroom didn't work. Could see old guests paperwork left in the drawers. Shower wets the floor too much (thicker bath mat needed?) Bar area carpet smelt. Cooked breakfast was differently cooked each day. Over or under cooked mushrooms, different sausages etc. Would of liked Granola option not flat Oats. Breakfast area very warm.

We didn’t use the swimming pool so could not comment on that The room and shower room were clean and spacious. Our room even had a walk in wardrobe. They provided most of the essentials like bathrobe, slippers and few complimentary toiletries on request.

We had an offer of 10% discount on the food and beverage while we were at the hotel. I wish we were informed verbally even though we were given an envelope with the information. As we rushed to get ready didn’t open the envelope till the morning. Unfortunately we already paid for the food and drinks so it was too late and they were unable to reimburse. They did give 20% discount for coffee and breakfast. However we would have more if we were verbally informed.
