The hotel was a charming historical property located a couple of minutes walk away from everything we wanted to see in our one night in Lucerne. We got a room upgrade! The room was spacious, had lots of natural light, a walk in closet, and a nice shower. Everything was clean. Access to 24x7 reception, hot water and coffee la home was a nice added touch. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

There was a persistent smell emanating from the bathroom and there was very little ventilation in the bathroom.

Super charming! In the historic walking section of Lucerne. Such a Swiss feel with lots of history. The staff bent over backward to help us- Dominique and Severin were amazing - putting a fan in our room to cool it on a warm day (no ac in this 500 year old hotel) and Severin got me the canopy bed room I wanted! Dominique helped us when we had parking issues at the super close parking garage (lost our ticket : / ) Breakfast was delicious with a ton of options (even eggs!)

The only thing was it was a little warm due to no ac on an 86° day, but not a huge deal with the nice fan they gave us.

You can’t go wrong in Lucerne! The Hotel Wilden Mann is steeped in history and well situated in the heart of Lucerne. Close to everything. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Because of its location, it could be noisy. We opened the windows slightly for air and it was a bit noisy at night and in the early morning. Also, and this certainly isn’t the hotel’s fault, there were a lot of Americans there. At times it felt like we hadn’t gotten away at all.

I loved that it was near to most all sightseeing and train station. Location was just perfect. For the location I would stay here again. Most staff were very friendly. We got upgraded room. Liked the size and view. But it was very noisy at very late night.

It was very noisy from the street. Like if someone was having a big party. It was the weekend though. Not sure if its less noise during the week. Overall a great hotel

The room was spacious and more luxurious than we had become accustomed to when traveling in Europe. The hotel was in the heart of the city but in a location that was quiet.

Unfortunately we couldn't eat in the restaurant either night as it was fully booked for large holiday parties, though the person who checked us in simply said the restaurant was "full".

Beautiful location in the old city. We walked everywhere since minimal cars allowed in the old city. The Lion Monument is beautiful and moving and the Rosengart Museum with all the Picasso and Klee art is amazing. Food was delicious at ebery restaurant we tried.

The staff were all extremely nice, helpful, accomodating and efficient.

Well, it wasn't cheap! Also, although breakfast could not have been better I think the other two hotel restaurants could use better menu options. That was our only complaint.

Room was large and nice location. Staff was very nice and helpful.

As a person that travel a lot, I believe it was about 20% too expensive. Breakfast was too expensive as well. Would like to see them offer free coffee.

Great location. The hotel has a wonderful old world atmosphere. We found all the staff to be very helpful and informative.

Not a criticism- but it would have been lovely to wander into a bar area and enjoy a drink after enjoying the beauty of Lucerne.

Breakfast was wonderful and the location was exceptional. Front desk staff were really helpful with all kinds of questions.

Hot water ran out before the end of a shower. It was warm in the room (in winter) but opening a window occasionally helped.
