THIS WAS OUR FIRST TRIP BACK SINCE 2016. ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING ABOUT OUR STAY AT LE CHALET DU MOUNT VALLON WAS EXCEPTIONAL AND EXCEEDED WHAT WE COULD HAVE HOPED FOR. IT WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE AND WE CAN'T RECCOMMEND THIS HOTEL HIGHLY ENOUGH. THE HOTEL MANAGER AND STAFF WERE INCREDIBLY ACCOMODATING AND DID ALL THEY COULD TO MAKE OUR STAY AS POSITIVE AS BEST POSSIBLE. THE ROOMS, FACILITIES, RESTAURANT, LOCATION, SKI ROOM ETC WERE ALL FANTASTIC FOR A SKI HOLIDAY. WE WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK! THANK YOU TO THE TEAM.

We were surprised that for a 4 star facility there was no concierge or staff able to help with the suitcases. Some of the staff were not very friendly. The hotel would benefit from a standardized staff training program and oversight.

The apartment was well appointed, with a small kitchen. Plenty of electrical sockets. Location was pretty good. We had a nice balcony with a view of Les Menuires. Access to the three vallees ski area was easy, with real ski-in/ski-out. Free parking was always available. Hammam room was nice. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Ski room does not have heating in the lockers so our ski gear was wet and cold in the morning. Not enough hooks to hang towels of 4 people in the room so the living room looked like a laundry room. No cutting board in the kitchen. Lacked instructions to operate the microwave/oven combo. A jaccuzzi whirpool would have been nice instead of the cold pool.

Ski in and ski out hotel and very nice spa. The hotel restaurants food presented us with very nice dinners. Also the hotel has very easy access to shops and restaurants.

I really didn't like the coffee machine as it hardly worked properly and we had to buy capsules for it at reception for £1 each. Not sure why this has been done like this but for a 4 star hotel I don't think it's excaptable!

The hotel has a lovely friendly atmosphere which is modern and relaxing. We were there for skiing and it is ski to door with quick access to a variety of lifts for getting going at the start of the day. Then a lovely pool with sauna and steam to have a nice unwind after a busy day.

There wasn’t a great deal of storage space in the room for a family of 4 (3 being girls!). However, when you spend so little time in there not a real issue. Maybe consider draws under the bunk bed? Bedside tables could be helpful.

This is our 5th time at this residence. It is perfect for families. Well situated on the slopes and easy to ski in - ski out. The pool and spa are excellent. The room is well equipped and the view is glorious. Very good service too.

The hot water pressure was not sufficient.

Residence formula confusing. Hotel supplies 7 dishwasher tablets but only 2 rolls of toilet paper and one bin liner for the week. At 200+ EUR per night it is ridiculous to have to go to a supermarket to buy toilet paper! Inconsiderate guests in the pool and sauna, go early if you want to enjoy it.

Great location for both slopes and cross-country skiing. Nice pool. Friendly staff.

Room was quite dark. I can’t quite imagine wanting to spend time in the lounge/on the balcony as it was all rather depressing with its purple plastic sofa and not much light.

Perfect ski in, ski out location, great facilities, spacious and clean rooms/apartments, walking distance to bars and restaurants. Definitely somewhere to drag again.

Steam room wasn’t working and had been broken for a while. A few coat hooks in the rooms would be useful.

excellent staff. beautiful hotel and very quiet. spa area was fantastic. accommodation was roomy, warm and clean.

proximity to supermarket. we had a car which made it easier. steep stairs with small children is not great but fine for adults.
