The hotel's location is excellent for those interested in experiencing the atmosphere of this historic neighborhood in Mexico City. Landmarks of the city (Palacio de Bellas Artes and the central Zócalo, with its Cathedral and Government Palace) are within easy reach on foot. The room was sufficient for two people but would have been perfect if it had had space for two chairs and a small table. The hotel offers the option of five breakfast packages, a la carte breakfast or a combination of both at very reasonable prices. It is a hotel to return to!

Apart from preferring a room with more space, we do not have any negative comments.

Location was very nice and close to were we needed and wanted to see and visit, really good ambience and all the staff was very polite

The lift got broken and out of service during our stay but the staff had a back up so it was only a temporary discomfort for us in the upper floors, the cleaning service was done even though we did not request it or put the cleaning service sign on the doors it was a surprise when someone tried to enter the room when we arrived and when the room was cleaned and no sign was put before we left the room was a bit disconcerting but not unwelcome

This was my 3rd time in Mexico City and my first time choosing a hotel in the city center, but I was there only for 2 nights, 1 full day, so this hotel was perfect for what I needed. In the city center, felt safe, close to shops, pharmacy, a mobile phone shop, Madero street, Bellas Artes, etc. The check-in was quick, the room was clean, good value for the price paid.

The room quite small, but not a big issue for a solo traveler who is anyways is much of the time outside. I think there was no little fridge/minibar, which is always a pity if you like to drink cold beverages. The room a bit noisy but it's the same everywhere in the center.

A superb hotel in an excellent location. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating given my repeated checking in and out due to my complicated itinerary. I was especially grateful for my upgrade to a matrimonial room with a balcony when I came back to CDMX "for good" at the end of my jaunts around Mexico. Muchas gracias to everybody at MCH!! A truly wonderful experience. A few practical points about visiting Mexico City. If you want to visit Casa Azul/Museo Frida Kahlo in Coyocacan you will need to book tickets online weeks, if not months, in advance. There is no need to book online to visit the superb Museo Casa de Leon Trotsky nearby. Visiting Palacio Nacional entails registering at 10.00 [arrive no later than 09.30 to be sure of gaining entry] at Haciendaes Patrimonio in Calle Moneda to join an English-speaking tour at 10.30.

I've been back to this hotel at least 4 or 5 times. This was my longest stay. One of their elevators was quite noisy and my room was near it. I complained and they responded immediately and courteously and changed my room to a quieter one. The staff members are friendly and responsive and this makes my stay there enjoyable. My waiter, Sergio, speaks enough English so that this non-Spanish speaker could feel at ease in the hotel's restaurant. The hotel is in a busy part of town and Mexico City is very busy. Be prepared for lots of people, Chinese food nearby, and nearby museums and the Alameda Park.

The elevator that can be heard in various parts of the hotel. If that can be fixed, the hotel would be close to perfect. The wi-fi is OK. Like many things in Mexico it is a bit slower than I might have wanted, but it was workable.

The housekeeping near nothing short of immaculate; the room was meticulously cleaned daily. The location allowed us to walk to many exceptional museums and historic buildings and to avoid the generally predatory taxi drivers, often clustered around or near tourist attractions. The beds were quite comfortably accommodating, if a tad short for lanky persons.

The room could have been larger, and the ceilings were a tad low. But nothing much is absolutely perfect.

La Bufa , the attached restaurant had a great weekend buffet, all the delicious Mexican breakfast items. The A La Carte menu was also very good value on weekdays. The location was great, 7 blocks to the Zocalo, two blocks to the Palaise de Belles Artes, (and metro) The tour to Teotihuacán picked up right at the hotel. China town was adjacent, excellent pastor taco stand around the corner! The Jacaranda trees were in bloom, it was great.

The room was a bit warm, no ac but a ceiling fan and a floor fan. I would try for a north facing room. Power in the hotel was iffy, during the morning rush. Staff was very helpful.

Overall, the experience at the hotel was pleasant. The front desk staff was nice and helpful, the location is close to everything in Centro and also very close to the metro, which can take you to almost any popular place in the city that you want to visit. They have a parking lot and it was okay to park there even during the busy Christmas season. The internet was a bit unreliable, so if you really depend on it for work or uploading large files to cloud storage, it might be a problem for you. But if you just want to browse and watch some videos, it should be fine. The walls are pretty thin, so you can hear people walking and talking in the hallway or taking a shower in the next room. The water in the shower was actually always hot and the pressure was stable, so no problems with that at all. In general, it's a good place to stay for a few days if you're planning on visiting the city and coming back to rest.

The room was very well appointed. Everything worked, and there was even a faucet with purified water. Affordable room service. The hotel arranged for a car to the ADO terminal at an honest fee. Watch out for the taxis, even from the sitio. They tried to overcharge me plenty.. At the corner is a nice restaurant, Tesla which is open till 7.oopm. Good for food or just drinks.

One could hear the people in the neighboring rooms. I was lucky, it wasn't so bad for me. Wat

The hotel is very clean and it is close to the historic center. Customer service is very friendly. They have a good restaurant with good prices.

The customer service doesn't speak English (only single words). The internet in the room where we stayed barely worked on phones. Maybe this is not a standard in Mexico (i do not know) but we did not have bottled water or kettle in the room.
