This was probably the best staff we have ever encountered ANYWHERE! I literally can't find a negative. The property was even prettier that online. The beamed ceilings had to be 12 to 14 ft. The food was great and plentiful. Gracias Roberto. The conciergie all bent over backward to make our stay fun. Literally no complaints.

Location is brilliant. Great advice from the Staff , helped to keep me safe . Very knowledgeable and well trained staff . Booked lots of places to visit , from hotel. Complimentary cafe/bar for guests was astounding. Breakfast was great. Well maintained rooms and a great atmosphere in the hotel. 100% recommend this hotel , always ask staff if you are not sure about something. English spoken widely.

For the price , breakfast was brilliant. If I could improve even more , I think a few more options , would take it even higher .

My husband and I booked a double room with breakfast here for 6 nights, and arrived after a long flight from Melbourne. It absolutely felt like our home away from home from the moment we entered the hotel. Greeted by friendly and welcoming staff, everything was provided beyond our expectations to keep us happy and comfortable. Hotel had a pleasingly calm decor throughout, especially the greenery brought into the lobby area made us feel relaxed and calm after a day tour or walk out in the buzzing streets. The hotel also has a cafe open for 24hrs, which had a complementary food & drinks menu for us, which was super handy - we have never experienced this facility anywhere in the world!!! Bottled drinking water was also provided free of charge. The location was central to most of the attractions, and the things we planned to do within Mexico City. We received all the information from the front office staff as to get a true Mexican experience in art, culture and history. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, they really work hard to keep the hotel flag flying. Our special thanks to the front office staff Danny, Alberto and Ana who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable - you are true legends!!

The room had two double beds, but one double bed would have been enough for two of us, leaving us more room to move around.

The property was centrally located making it easy to walk to many places. The staff is amazing! Daniel, Beto and Lorena were absolutely the best! Friendly, accommodating and always put a smile on my face! The room was cozy and quiet and the staff at the restaurant as well as the food were wonderful! The free, made to order breakfast and cafe with a ton of options were a la incredible perk! The free walking tour is a must! The history is amazing as well as the architecture! Also, the free bottled water and apples on each floor was fantastic. Seriously, between the amazing staff and amenities you will love staying here!

The services in Historico Central Hotel were outstanding. We stayed a week and found the staff to be friendly, ready to help, and good at their respective jobs. Breakfast was included in the rate, with table service and many options in what to order. Roberto was an outstanding waiter, whom we looked forward to seeing. The central location of the hotel meant that we were in an ever-busy spot, but our room was quiet and comfortable. As we were there for a week, it was a bit snug but we were not aiming to spend much time in it. We could walk to some excellent restaurants, the the Palacio de Bellas Artes, the Zocolo, artisan markets, Museo do Artes Popular, and getting an Uber to go to farther reaches never took long. Many of the hotel guests told us they return to this hotel whenever in Mexico City, and we can see why.

Would have been happy to have a room that was a bit larger, but our room was comfortable and well-equipped.

We arrived very late and tired after a very long flight where luggage went missing - we were greeted by a very friendly lady on reception who told us the amenities of the hotel and checked us in quickly and without a problem. We woke up each morning to the very friendly waiters in the restaurant to a lovely breakfast served to us. The menu is lovely and fills a hole if you are hungry around lunch. All of it included in the price which I was unaware of! There was a small gym with great machines. Room and bathroom were very clean and staff couldn’t have been nicer. A great start to our México trip!

We stayed 6 nights at the Historico Central hotel - Our stay was very comfortable and although our Spanish was terrible, it did not matter as we were always made to feel welcome. The Historico Central is a nicely finished boutique hotel in a great location that made it easy to explore many nearby sites on foot and with easy uber access to anywhere else. The beds are very comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean and functional, but a bit uninspiring - the decor in the room is plain. In contrast, the lobby and main atrium space are very nice places to dwell, with comfortable seating and abundant natural light. the included breakfast was very good with locally inspired choices cooked to order and a good selection of extras. Service was amazing, the staff were super helpful in arranging any extras we wanted,; tickets, etc. There is a 24 hour coffee/beer/soup and sandwich bar at the entry with most items free for hotel guests - this was an amazing bonus and much appreciated! We also did the walking tour offered by the hotel and it was really great!

The room and bathroom are very clean, well laid out, but not inspiring in their plainness, also there is not much natural light and no view. All other aspects of the hotel are very good.

The hotel is ideally situated just a few minutes walk from many excellent restaurants and all the things you will want to explore in the historical district. The rooms are on the smallish size but are well equipped and extremely clean. Breakfast is good with plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt and a wide variety of cooked options. What makes the hotel though are the staff. Those on the front desk, the concierge and the waiting staff are all courteous and extremely helpful, they go out of their way to be ensure you enjoy your stay. I am already planning my return visit!

The hotel is located only a short walking distance to the central plaza, the famous Zocalo. The hotel offers free old city tour and we really enjoyed. The 24 hours cafe has varieties of food to choose from and it’s all free including draft beers! Each floor has a fridge next to elevator filled with bottled water and free to take as many bottles as you need, super considerate and convenient. The breakfast is very good. The area is safe walking to major sites. All staff work professionally and very kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
