Excellent location! We walked to many of the beautiful sites in London and we were very close to the tube for other adventures. Breakfast and the staff working the breakfast were excellent!

Young man at front desk was not helpful regarding our luggage concerns, (66 stairs with heavy luggage…we understand that the fact that there was no lift is well advertised but our experience at other hotels without lifts has been much better), helping us with directions to a laundromat (suggested that we could google it), overall friendliness and/or concern was absent. He created a negative atmosphere.

The hotel is located in a fantastic location, just next to Hyde Park. There is Starbucks around the corner and some restaurants if you want to have a bite. The room itself had two single beds, very comfortable with nice pillows. There was a mini fridge and kettle with coffee and tea for our convenience. There was also a hair dryer, a TV, a fan which we actually used as it was very hot on that October day and a radiator if anyone needs one. Towels and toiletries were also provided which was great!. Breakfast was free and delicious, great coffee served as well.

There was nothing we didn't like. For the price we paid, the room and service was exceptional!

Location: excellent for the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, also Marble Arch tube very near and walking distance from Paddington. Room was small (as expected, given the price) but had everything we needed. Towels were large and very soft. Bed was comfortable. Tea making facility was there. Breakfast in the morning was good and the staff, both in reception and at breakfast were friendly, polite and very helpful.

We were on the 3rd floor and perhaps because of that the shower wasn't very good. It took ages for hot water to make it up to the room and pressure wasn't good.

The room was fine for our needs and it was very central for the places we wanted to visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful, could not do enough to help. The rooms were very clean and towels were changed every day. The room was well kept. The breakfast was excellent and those staff were very helpful. We would highly recommend this Hotel to most people. The only thing is that there are no lifts up to the floors, so need to be able to climb stairs.

The only thing was the stairs, but we were ok climbing the stairs taking it steady.

Very quaint B&B. What's important to remember is that this is not a hotel. You are staying in a room in a large town house. It is not flashy and not modern at all, but it's very charming and I had a wonderful stay. The staff were lovley and breakfast was great. The kitchen/cleaning staff are so lovely and I enjoyed our morning chats. The location was excellent, especially for shopping.

I booked two rooms for a family wedding at Marylebone Town Hall. Position near Hyde Park not too far from the reception afterwards. A really quiet road, lovely area an aid to a good couple of nights sleep . We booked bedroom one which was easier for my Mother in a wheelchair. Breakfast room was downstairs. Staff were happy for me to take her breakfasts up to her room. Thank you to the staff who really sorted this all out in advance for us. We all really enjoyed it too thank you.

Just a few little details needed tweaking but nothing to complain about.

Superb location to enter Hyde Park near Marble Arch or to walk into Oxford street. Very friendly staff and a great English breakfast with beans in tomato sauce, sausages, tomato, toast, eggs.

When breakfast is being cooked the smell does travel up the staircases and in my case also into my room. I can imagine not everyone will appreciate that. The windows are a bit draughty but the up side is that your room is well ventilated at all times.

Confy beds. Room spacious enough. Cleaned every day. Nice temperature inside the room considering it is December. Traditional English breakfast. Staff were very friendly. Very very good location. Very nice price. 413 pounds for 4 nights.

It's an old house, there is no denying. Accommodations were a little tired. The carpet does look very good. Doors were old and damaged. Shower was old and the corners not very cleaned, but it served us well. Didn't have a problem using the facilities, they were clean enough were it matter. I think we were above the kitchen so every morning we could smell the sausages being fried. Overall I would definitely stay there again.

As soon as we arrived a young lady met us at the door, talked us through everything, took our bags. We arrived very early and knew we would not be back at the hotel until late, she gave us our room key and front door key and assured us our bags will be in our room ready for when we got back. Great breakfast made by 3 lovely ladies who clearly enjoy their job.

Nothing really, bathroom is a little dated but absolutely did not affect our stay, it was clean and this is a very old building so there will be wear and tear.

The Parkwood Hotel is superbly located near Marble Arch and Hyde Park. It is scrupulously clean and the rooms are well fitted out. Both Reception and Domestic staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. There is a lovely breakfast room with a very good selection of fruit juices, cereals and yoghurts plus the most delicious good quality cooked breakfast. My poached eggs were perfect! This is the perfect place to stay to be centrally located and well looked after.

I can’t say I disliked anything about this property. The only thing we struggled with were the stairs at times as there is not a lift as it’s a beautiful Regency townhouse. However this would not dissuade me from staying in the future.
